Score from 682 reviews Excellent
The staff was friendly, the rooms spacious and the location of the hotel was excellent.
The hotel quality is in steap decline: the bed were old and worn out, the rooms are noisy, the window in my room was broken and could not be closed, the bathroom lacked a cosmetic mirror and tissues, the shower head was leaking and splashed allover, the TV was old and had a terrible picture and sound quality, the hotel offers only a small selection of international TV channels (1x US, 1x UK, 1x DE). Foremost, the hotel lacks environmental awareness - every day the towels were removed for washing and the bath has no water-saving devices.
very good location, good breakfast, friendly staff
The location was perfect, it was in the center, near to the train station, to the palazzo vechio
If you live the windows open, you might had mosquitos all day long, even when you were slepping
good location near the railway station, kind staff. Facility in the room is good.
Ahave elevator in the building, there are stairs in one floor. You may need to take luggages upstairs/downstairs.
The room is good. very good service. good breakfast. nice staff.
the room is a little bit small. but it s ok.
The location was very good. Breakfast was good.
Daily room cleaning was weak, glasses and water pot was not clean.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel in a perfect location.
The staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms immaculately clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable.
No tea and coffee in room but not a big issue. No restaurant for evening meal but did have room service
- The location is excellent, very close to the Dome and to the train station - Breakfast was pretty good with very tasty warm pastry - The reception stuff were friendly, giving us all the information that we needed
The room was very hot and even after we asked to have AC turned off (it was set on heating) it was still very hard to sleep. The balcony was shared with 2 other rooms, so not possible to leave the door open during the night.
Location and staff were great.
Wifi would connect and then disconnect and signal was very poor. Breakfast was tasty but poor for a 4-star hotel.
Nice breakfast,very friendly staff,near to the station,very warm room,nice wc,excellent price for 4stars hotel
Bad wifi connection, the view of the backside rooms and that u are hear the people of the other rooms
Staff all friendly and helpful.
Sleep quality isn't great. This is in a noisy location but that is also an advantage. Close to markets, restaurants and Duomo. There are a variety of things to wake you up during the night, alarms, noisy fellow patrons and plumbing. If someone flushes you know about it.Having said that, it's how it is in an old building in an ancient city. Still good value. You are in Florence, restless sleep is a small price to pay.
The staffs are approachable except for one.
Internet can't reach our room. We need to go to the lobby to use wifi.
We had four nights in Florence and enjoyed everything the hotel was great and near to everything loved it
In the city center
The staff is very rude, impolite when you ask for something. They don't even know to smile. The room is no shampoo, no conditioner..when we ask for that, they just say they will bring it to us (without a word to say sorry). The room is dark, small; The service does not even equal to a 1 star hotel.
Excellent reception and breakfast staff.Very friendly and knowledgeable in particular Milena. Provided the room I requested with the view.Quality and quantity of breakfast excellent!
The room I was given had a small terrace with an iron table and chairs. These items should be painted since they are a bit rusty and the walls in the terrace need paint also. With little money it would look great.
Location was very good. Near the train station in walking distance to most all sights. Your buses were at the end of the block. Staff very friendly.
A little cramped.
Good location, close to train station for other transport links. Superior room was large and clean. Reception staff helpful with directions and local landmarks.
Overall slightly dated hotel from what you see on the website. WIFI was so poor only able to get connection in reception area. Considering size of hotel and number of rooms the breakfast choices were limited and small. Value for money is hard to find in centre of Florence
The location was excellent and very close to the historic quarter. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help make tour bookings.
Hotel location, the staff, and room facilities were all good- and they conveniently placed us on the first floor near the lift. Breakfast was nice ( but scrambled egg every day was a bit monotonous)
Wi fi was virtually non existent in the room which made it difficult to purchase tickets on line etc.
When we arrived we got a very friendly welcome from the helpful receptionist. All the front desk staff were friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean and well furnished. Bathroom toiletries were a bit sparse! Breakfast was very good with a great selection of hot and cold food. Food was plentiful no matter what time we came down for breakfast. The hotel is within easy walking distance from all the main attractions. Santa Maria Novella church is literally just across the road, the Duomo is a 15 minute walk and the Uffizi is about 20 minutes away. (We are a couple in our 60's.) There are plenty of good value restaurants in the neighbourhood. Trattoria Katti on Via Faienza was excellent.
The bed! I have never encountered a harder mattress in any hotel ever before. The pillows were no better!
Location Room size, we had a balcony Staff very helpful
A little hard to find. Street numbers didn't seem to go in sequence No tea making facilities in room
Staff Location En-suite bathroom Breakfast Free tea & coffee in afternoons/evenings
Perhaps lack of TV channels (most in Italian)
Room is old
Great location. 5 minute walk from the station & to all big attractions. All staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was very spacious.
The bathroom looked nice but the plug, hair drier & shelves in the shower were all faulty.
