Very friendly welcome, plenty of good advice, especially on good eating places nearby, [especially Restaurant Joseph] and easy access to the Roman centre of town. Very clean and well maintained. Would certainly use this place again.
Problems with access [late arrival notified in advance] Continental breakfast, would have liked some fresh fruit and cereals,[ but this was not a major problem].
Great big room comfortabele bed, close to underground transport
Shared kithen not clean. Rotten fruit in fridge. Very limited breakfast
We only had 2nights here and we're quote cpfortable . It is small but good value for money. Very close to Vatican
Difficult to find
Close to the city, yet far from the noise/activity The whole family (it's a family-owned hotel) was more than nice to us, they kept our luggage while we went away for two weeks, for a small fee, and when we came back, everything was already in our room, as if we had never left. Communication was always super easy and friendly. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Rome. The city is very close, many buses go there, as well as the subway, which is conveniently a few steps away. Seriously, BEST value for your money. Avoir staying in overpriced or crowded places - stay RIGHT outside the center and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of a regular neighbourhood, while taking advantage of all the perks of the buzzing city that is Rome.
Public transport stops close to hotel It is about 15 minutes to center by metro Balcony Calm city quarter Fridge, microwave, coffee machine and toaster is free for use in kitchen
Italian breakfast only (something small and coffee) Shared kitchen Paid parking is not with free entrance (sometimes you have to move other car to drive in or out). Personal is helpful, but it is complication.
- owners are super friendly and it is easy to communicate in English - very good wifi connection - beautiful room that was spacious - very close to metro stop
- breakfast is a litlle simple
Nagyon jó volt, szívesen visszamennénk :) Mauro was very helpfull and friendly. The location is very good: in front of the appartman is a bus stop, and 3 minutes the metro. Near the appartman are some restaurants, shops, pizzerias, fast food.... Breakfast is tipicly italian: juice, croissant, milk, jam, honey, cafe... The apartman was perfect for us :)))
wifi gyenge volt a szobában. Poor wifi in the room.
Great service from Mauro and Giulio, very friendly and helpful as to where to eat and what bus and metro to catch. The room was a good size for two people, very clean and nicely decorated and fresh towels provided everyday. I liked the fact we were staying amongst the locals, give you a taste of the real Rome! Thank you for a great stay!!
Close to subway and bus station. The host was speeking very well English and showed us on the map what to visit.
breakfast was poor... The elevator was like a travel in time, as you were in 19th century. The room was not so clean as standards, bed was not confortable.the bathroom was the worst i have seen in my life, dirty and when you need to use water, strange and very loud noise coming from drain.
The location is very convenient, bus stop and Metro entrance is very near to the hotel. The house is very clean and comfortable, we like the balcony very much. And also the handsome guys with their best service, you will get the map and advice from them. Hotel fee is good, including the breakfast, wifi free, everything is satisfied. I recommend this hotel.
Excellent Staff, they were very kind and nice. The room was clean, seems was new room. They serve breakfast every day so they have good coffee. I love this place. I was in Dublin, London, Amsterdam so I stay in different B§B, Hostel, and Hotel, Aurelia was the best place to stay while I was traveling in Europe.
big comfortable bed terrace large light room 24 hour tea and coffee cleaning comfortable bathroom
It wasn't too far from the metro.
The room it self was clean but corners and closets could use some dusting and washing.
- very friendly and helpful staff. They would give you all kinds of advises, tourism and logistics/transportation wise. - very good location, bus stop is down the building and 2 metro stations are only few mins walking. It may look a bit far considering the number of stops to reach Termini main station (9 stops I think) but it actually doesn't take much time to reach it. - Friendly atmosphere, a nice balcony for a morning breakfast. Breakfast may not be that varied but we didnt really mind. There are many boutiques, and shops close to the hotel, also a pharmacy and a supermarket (Carrefour express). - Clean and comfortable. would definitely go back there again and recommend it.
nothing to be mentioned
We enjoyed everything. The breakfast was good, the room was clean and looked lovely and the owners are really nice and helpful. We can't think of anything that would bother us :) We highly reccomend this B&B to everyone!
nearby underground station.
very small breakfast !!! Only half of toast bread and nutela and jam for 4 rooms !!! Every morning I must buy my own food in the shop next to hotel.
- Great location - Clean rooms - Very close to metro station - Very friendly staff, but only available part time
- Rock hard beds - Poor breakfast selection
The staff was great !
The cleanliness of the room was terrible (sheets never changed for a stay of one week...)
Location was relatively good. The staff was helpful and kind.
The single rooms are really small. They seem to be quite hot during the summer time. Dust was everywhere in the room. No proper cleaning even if you stay for many days. More like a room rent, instead of a hotel.
Mauro was the most helpful manager we met, on the day of booking in he gave us a map and explained where the transport was, numbers of buses to use and how to use the rail as well, both of which were situated at virtually the front door and how to get to all the attractions. The room was lovely, light and airy on the first floor, and as the building is set back from the main road there is little noise.
Perfect on location, very convinent, boss is very nice
It is a very cozy place, very familiar and comfortable. They provide you with fresh water, juice, snacks, coffee, tea... 24 hours in a small kitchen which comes very handy. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Rooms are very clean, they clean it everyday and give you a small dish with a small cup for the coffee. I think you got everything you need in this place, so I would definitely recommend to stay here over your days in Rome.
As everything has been outstanding so far, I could say that the worst thing is location. Nevertheless, it is still very close to the metro station and you can reach the Vatican City on foot. The downside is that it is a little far from the downtown itself, although reachable in 20min by metro or bus.
The gelato place infront has the most wonderful flavors. Proximity to the metro. The owners were very helpful. We would return.
The room was turned over to us very clean. However, the next day, the daily cleaner barely cleaned the room and the bathroom. I think only the bed was made. Also, the hot water would suddenly turn cold in instances while showering.
The staff/owners are helpful. The room is spacious, the bed comfortable. Is near some good restaurants. Near the bus and metro.
The building is old and not very clean nor attractive. The breakfast is very basic.
