Hotel Aurora  

The room had a balcony with a view of the city, despite the fact that it is located in a bad district of Florence. The breakfast was good, apart from the coffee, with a big variety.

The room was 200m away from the reception and according to the reception this is the case for any not-luxury double room. We were informed about this but not before the confirmation of the room- too late to reconsider our decision. This 200 m away means that there is not internet access at the room and for the breakfast we had to get out of our building and this in a very bad district of the city, If someone decide to stay at this hotel, I would suggest to choose the luxury rooms that cost about 20 euros more but are located at the main building and look to be recently renovated.

The hotel has 2different buildings, our room was in the biulding round the corner, but this wasn't an issue at all. The staff are extremely helpful, breakfast is served buffet style and is pretty good considering the cost. There is wi-fi available too. The hotel is situated close to shops and across the road from the station. Everywhere is within walking distance and restaurant down the road served great meal deals incl main course+drinks which were delicious!

The location adjacent to the train station was so convenient and most of the attractions were within walking distance.The front desk was always manned around the clock by three wonderful guys who were extremely helpful with travel and sightseeing tips and were very accomodating. We were initially allocated a room on the 3rd floor which was comfortable but when we expressed our concern about the ongoing construction was upgraded to an updated room on the ground floor that had radiant heated floors,shower with body sprays and an illuminated ceiling with changing colors at no extra cost.Free WiFi and breakfast were nice touches.Overall a great three star facility.

Only minor deficiency was the quality of the bath towels which were lightweight without loops and thus not very absorbent

We had booked on line and were allocated two rooms in separate buildings. On arrival, because we were two couples traveling together, the considerate management gave us an upgrade room so we were in the same location... At no extra cost. Impressive!

Renovations were in progress. Rooms not affected, but hallways etc unfinished and dusty. No big deal.

The best solution for trip in Florence. Perfect location - near the railway station. Great staff. And substantial copious breakfast!

The facility of bedroom is very comfortable. The breakfast is good.

Is located near the historic center, just opposite the station, and everything is within walking distance! Very good breakfast, free wi-fi and helpful staff. The most romantic city in the world.

Superb located just opposite Santa Maria Novella Station. Is walkable distance to Florence Duomo. The room even thou is a bit small, I'm quite satisfied with the cleanliness, the buffet breakfast and the services provided by the hotel.

We need to call the guy at the counter to turn on the heater for the room during winter time everyday as it is a central heating system. Otherwise, everything else is good.

Our bedroom wasn't in the main building but was very nice. We also had our own kitchen and terrace. Very nice view from the forth floor. The room was well located and big.

The breakfast was a bit poor and not very fresh.

We booked for standard double room in the annexe but got an upgrade to a room in the main building. The hotel is renovating, but didn't disturb us in anyway. Location is good, right across the main train station and walking distance to everything we wished to visit. Room quiet. Reception very friendly and helpful. Very affordable for a good service level. Perfect for a short stay to visit Florence city.

Lack of freshness in the decoration of the room. May be this will be improved after renovation? After all, we can notice a vey nice decoration in the areas already renovated.

Nice hotel , very closed to the Firenze train station (Santa Maria Novella), breakfast good. Also closed to the Piazza del Duomo (10 minutes on foot). Room was small ,bathroom ok

This is a great little hotel. Right outside the station, blink and youll miss it. Staff very friendly and recommended me an excellent restaurant. \Im going back anyway and no qualms. A room at the back is very peaceful and quiet. Just right for a city break, so handy for every thing.
