Hotel Aurora    

Location is perfect, right across the train station (Florence SMN). Good breakfast, nice staff. Room was very clean and with nice view.

Excellent location across from Railway Station and within walking distance to main attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value.

Everything was perfect: it was near the train station, not to far from the sites, the staff was very helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable

The hotel is within easy walk of train station. Great for train travelers. Not too far from the Duomo. Yet, quiet and restful. Clean, great breakfast. Shower was delightful.

Fantastic location just opposite train station.

The hotel is opposite Santa Maria Novella Station. The design is extremely modern and artistic and the stuff is more than friendly. I strongly recommend this hotel.

The room was ok.

The hotel's parking closed at 8.30 pm so we were unable to park in the hotel's leased property on one night. Consequently we were forced to pay 34.50 euro - a rate that was an additional 16.50 Eur over the hotel's rate. Consequently we request payment of the 16.50 Eur premium we paid. I use Booking.com because I trust your brand. Please re-emburse. Thanks

Helpful friendly staff. Good location. Comfortable & clean rooms ,well appointed & furnished. They were very good in providing Gluten free foods requested.

Breakfast area seating not comfortable & layout was difficult to navigate. The juice was not fresh & there was no bread.

We could walk to Duomo a bit long but very busy streets

i booked in annex which is 200mtrs. from the hotel property, i didn't had much luggage so it was ok with me.

The hotel staffs are so friendly and the hotel is close to tourist attraction.

The web photos did not do it justice, so it was such a nice surprise that the room we were offered was modern. We loved the large indoor courtyard garden outside our bedroom. The hotel was only a minute walk to the main train station and not far from many of the sights. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended!

The location was great - easy to locate from the main train station (right behind the back of it) and short walk into the main areas of Florence. The desk staff were helpful - booking theatre tickets for us etc. and we appreciated their efforts to speakEnglish!

Whilst the room appeared to lend itself to Florentine style it was in fact rather dated and not particularly clean. The fridge was dirty as was the bath. Only one pillow each and no coffee making facilities (although this does appear to be the norm in most Italian hotels). The worst part was the breakfast area. Plastic cubes to sit on, use of trays with paper on to collect your food and the woman who organised this was like a prison warden! She stood with arms folded and scowled at anyone who dared to not use a tray! A smile and some polite banter would have made such a difference and really let down the rest of the hotel staff.The food was very basic, minimal and poor quality. The hotel is very noisy as double glazing not good - be prepared for train/tram noises most of the night as they are right outside.

Spacious rooms Near train station

It was very comfortable and room was very spacious. Very near to the station and walkable distance to all tourist places.

The breakfast was not so nice. The person in the breakfast hall was also not so friendly.

We stayed in the 'Annex' which is around the corner at the back of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable but the room was small. The bathroom was clean and serviceable but very old. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Great coffee too.

Three lots of keys or codes to get into our room, wi-fi was not working in our room so we needed to go around to the main hotel breakfast room to use it.

Very close to the train station and the SITA bus station. Florence is small so I can walk around. The price is quite good when balancing the location and the room quality. You get what you need in a trip.

The room is a bit old. The breakfast is not bad, but not comprable to our last B&B in Venice.

the lady receptionist acted like she were the queen and we were her slaves. we asked for a replacement of a broken extra bedcot. She said she could not leave the reception and thought we lied about the cot condition. We had to show her the photo and she agreed to give us a new one. BUT we had to carry it to yhe room change mattress and bring the old one back to her....3 stars hotel indeed! She should have higher education because her taste seems to match high paid job, not a reception work.
