Breakfast is just to have something in the morning.
Location is just in front of the train station.
The location is conveniently, opposite the train and bus station. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The staff was very helpful with everything. They helped us with directions and recommended places close by for lunch and dinner. The breakfast was great each morning at the hotel. The location was very convenient for getting around and catching the tram.
The TV Channel if there's English Language substitle or English Channel it will be much better. All Italian channel.
The hotel staff let us keep our luggage after we checked out. The breakfast was simple yet delicious. Definitely will come again to this hotel
The friendly helpful staff, the comfortable rooms and the good breakfast.
We arrived early in the morning the next day of our reservation, due to our flight being diverted. The man working the front desk, Giovanni I believe was his name, was extremely accommodating and let us check in and sleep for a few hours before we had to check out. He let us leave our bags and sit in the beautiful garden before our train left later that night.
The room is fitted out in a very modest way: few items of furniture, some of which appear to have been handmade (and not entirely successfully). TV had the tiniest screen I had seen in ages (then again, there are so few channels, I doubt you'd want to watch it much). Service could use some improvement. We stayed for two nights, and I had to request the administrator to switch on the heating both on the first and the second day. When the temperature at night is about 0 C, heating should be available by default, not at an extra request, I believe. The electric kettle, listed as one of the room features, is only available if you ask for it and leave a 20 Euro deposit at the reception. Little things like that should be mentioned in the description. The room was cleaned on regular basis but this is my first hotel experience when the cleaner removed (hotel-provided) toiletries instead of adding them. Cups I brought into the room myself along with the kettle on the first night, had also been diligently removed during the cleaning, so I had to go after them again. The omelette at breakfast was hopelessly cold both mornings (and that was in the middle of the period when the breakfast was being served). At the payment stage, my card was charged in the wrong currency, and a charge for unnecessary currency exchange was added to the payment. All things I described are minor issues but they do affect the overall impression.
I was pleased with the location: the hotel is indeed very close to the railway station, which is very convenient if you arrive and depart by train. The Uffizi Gallery, Pitti Palace, Ponte Vecchio are not in the immediate vicinity, but within a walking distance - and Florence is a beautiful place to walk around. What I liked about the hotel itself: - clean room - relatively new bathroom equipment - working lift - good soundproofing of the room - polite staff
Lovely garden which I could sit in despite having scaffolding across the door
Breakfast was ok but nothing special.
The location of this hotel is conveniently situated opposite the bus station. Although on a main road, the hotel is quiet and comfortable. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Some of the rooms were under renovation at the time of our visit so the halls were shared with construction workers.
I loved that this hotel was across the street from the SMN station in Florence and so very close to the major sights in Florence. We walked everywhere easily! Lots of restaurants and a small grocery store nearby.
The size and cleanliness of the room were fantastic. Its proximity to the train station made it very easy to arrive with lots of luggage and then take day trips to other cities. A very comfortable boutique hotel
The location was great. Across the road from train station and within walking distance to sightseeing places.
Located right next to SMN station, so convenient, and I can say that there is NO NOISE from the surrounding area. I could not hear anything from the nearby streets or the station in my room. Very relaxing sleep! Friendly staff that answered all my questions. There is an elevator for those traveling with luggage. The room is clean, the interior furnishings are nice and of good quality, and the bed is good and comfortable. I can't talk about the breakfast since I left so early that I could not have it. Guests get 10% discount at a nearby restaurant that is pretty good.
The room was really poorly furnished, with old dilapidated furniture. This is not a quadruple room, but rather a room for 3 people, so a bed was added and jammed against the wardrobe, to create 4 beds. Room curtains, the worst I have ever seen and in any hotel I have stayed, including in my home country of South Africa. I think some make shift left over material was used to make this up. This is in room 311, so advise to please avoid.
Staff friendly and accommodating. Location, allows you to come out of the station and walk to the hotel. Also all attractions within walking distance from the hotel, which suited us, as we enjoy to walk rather then take a bus or taxi
Thin walls - next door shower doors and toilet flushing very disturbing
A view of the cathedral from the room. Very close to the main station, convenient for train travel.
The price...! Even taking into account that it was just last day of the year
Wifi didn't work in our room
TV provided was very small and only had a few local channels no international news. But we did not spend much time in the room so didn't matter to us.
Fantastic location and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was well prepared and reasonable in selection of foods. The room itself was quite big and two windows with views of the neighbourhood. Very comfortable.
Good Location, nice staff and hotel
Lift too small Not enough spread for breakfast
Location Services Wifi
location was great and staff was good
The aura is just a bit outdated but that must be the feel the hotel is trying to achieve
location, comfort, breakfast
We got a room on the 3rd floor : Caravaggio. In the bathroom the rain water leaked on the sealing and it smelled. But it was not that bad, and we dident need to ask for another room.
The location is excellent ! The staf f is very friendly and helps alot !
