Hotel Aventino  

Everything was perfect. Nice and quiet in the city, wonderful staff, great breakfast and beautiful rooms. We stayed in Hotel Aventino in connection to our Rome wedding and we were so well looked after. So were our friends who stayed in the same hotel. This hotel deserves an extra star.

Good compromise between price/location/confort

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. From restaurant recommendations, to helping us make reservations for a museum and navigate our departure during Italy's national holiday. Excellent location, quiet neighborhood but easy access to sites and public transport.

Although they provide internet access in the rooms through an ethernet connection, I would have preferred WiFi to be able to able to sit somewhere else than the desk and connect my smartphone and tablet.

Charming hotel situated in a former Villa. Nice atmosphere. Free WiFi and good breakfast.

No extra facilities. Room and Bathroom were run down. Location is a 15 minute walk from the nearest metro station

Wonderful peaceful location. Huge bed and large room. Bountiful supplies of delicious fresh fruit for breakfast

Water from the shower flooded the bathroom floor - this issue needs to be resolved urgently.

The location was great and central to what we wanted to see. The staff was very helpful in recommending where to go for sights and food.

This isn't about the hotel. The employees were very professional. The other tourists, however, weren't so considerate. Many times we had to move out of other people's way, because they refused to slide over one inch, even though they were walking right down the middle of the sidewalk with no one beside them.

Excellent breakfast, very big and comfortable bed, very nice and quiet area, helpful staff.

15 minutes walk from the nearest metro station, 30 minutes walk to the city center. No wifi reception in our room (but LAN cable was provided).

The hotel is very nice and comfortable. Breakfast is good.

The location is not surrounded by shops and restaurants. However, they are at walking distance and it is very quiet.

Location just fifteen minutes walk to the Colosseum and ancient centre. Staff were helpful and the facilities good. Room cleaned immaculately every day.

Nothing really except the bed was harder than l am used to but soon adapted to it.

Nice room, friendly personel,breakfast exactly for me. Very good localisation. Walking time with not to big luggage from Circo Massimo, which is easy available from the airport by train Leonardo express and metro b line is only up to 7-10 minutes. For those people who likes walk most interesting places in the city center are available by walking including Vaticano

We would like to express our deep gratitude for hospitality, kindness and professional services that allowed us to make our first visit to Roma so nice and unforgettable. It is like home, number of rooms is limited. Very quite in the night which allows to sleep with open window.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was well prepared, variety of choice. Beautifull plants and garden, you get really sucked into the authentic italy-feeling. I can recommend this hotel to anybody, excellent for a citytrip visit.

Tha staff was very polite, and helpful. Thre location is very good. There are two metro stations at ten minutes' walk, and several restaurants at a walking distance (fifteen minutes); yet, the location is very quiet, and peaceful. Otherwise everything was fine for a short stay to explore the art galleries and shopping of Rome, and to make a one-day trip by train to Florence, but the heating system of the hotel did not function. The room was constantly far too hot (28 degrees Celsius), and it was very difficult to sleep. I fell sick. Also, the plumbing in the hotel appears to be glogged. There was also a moldish sewege leakage on the bathroom ceiling. Needs to be fixed immeaditely.

Not a major problem but it would have been nice to enjoy the warm weather with breakfast in the garden

A very friendly reception and help with any queries. A comfortable room with good facilities. The hotel was in a convenient position for visiting the centre of Rome. Was very impressed with the excellent breakfast provided which included a wide choice of foods each day. Will look forward to staying there again.
