We stayed at Hotel Azzi for two nights in a room with 4 people. Breakfast was plentiful and staff was very politeful! The room was large, the bathroom cold and dark, not necessary the cleanest. The construction noise outside was very loud. Will try a different hotel next time.

Location is good, 5 min walking from S. Maria Novella train station. 10 min walking to Duomo. Comfortable big rooms. Good breakfast with cereals, cheese, ham, sweets etc. There is no lift in the hotel, which can be a problem for aged people or people with lots of luggage. Wi-Fi is free but too weak in the rooms, you have to go out of the room at the entrance where Wi-Fi antenna is located. Too overcrowded during the breakfast time. If you want to order the coffee (from coffee machine) you have to wait a lot (otherwise there is only one Americano type of coffee ready). We stayed for 2 nights. On the second day they did not give us douche gel.

Hotel staff was polite, especially the man who is responsible from everything at the hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are very big and ver clean. The hotel was very comfortable. The heating and air conditioning is also excellent. The hotel is a little bit far from main attractions. However, Florence is a city where you can reach everywhere by walking.

Great place for young and budget travelers. The hotel is in an old building and they have maintained the classical charm of the place with ample antiques for a bit of that old world charm. The location was amazing, just a few minutes walk from the Florence Santa Maria station and you can walk down to most of the attractions from this place. The breakfast was good and the staff was courteous and very helpful. the wifi in the hotel was a litlle weak, but you can live with it.

Sara is so helpful. Hotel's location is very good too. There's a construction site beside and the workers began to work everyday at 7.30 am. It was ok for me, but if you're spending a lot of time in your room, that could be very annoying. The facilities in the room are quite basic, but you didn't pay for a 5 stars, so it's ok. The room size is decent. When you get to the hotel, be aware of the street numbers. They are not in order, so it's very tricky to find the hotel. The breakfast could be very well served one day, and very poorly done another, even without hot coffee, a bit like the moods of the employees.

I'm American and my boyfriend is Italian, we spent a short weekend in Florence to visit. After deciding between a handful of hotels we decided to choose this hotel. Well first of all, our room was extremely budget friendly! This was a big plus for us, as I'm sure it is for many people. For the price, you can't go wrong! Our room was in a separate building nearby, and at first I wasn't sure how I felt about this. But it was really no problem, the man at the front desk brought us to our room after we checked in. It was very close to the main lobby, just a few buildings down a small street, so if there was a problem it would have still been easily accessible to the main building. We were upgraded to a bigger room for free, which was a nice surprise. I originally booked a room for two people with one queen bed and a private bathroom. We were upgraded to a room that was very spacious and comfortable. It had three beds total, one queen bed and two double beds. Our upgrade included a full kitchen that was very nice with a table for four people. There were a couple pieces of silverware that were missing (spoons), but because it was a free upgrade I'm not at all complaining. Pretty much everything we needed was available in the kitchen (pans, silverware, minus a few). There's a local market down the street, we picked up fruit and other groceries and made breakfast. We had a private bathroom that was standard and clean. We had a balcony with a nice view, in the warmer months it would be lovely to have breakfast or a drink outside on the balcony. The furniture was antique, which really made you feel like you were in florence. I personally appreciate a more traditional decor, especially being in a city that's so historic! We definitely got more than what we paid for! In the future, I would certainly refer friends and family of mine to stay at hotel azzi. Well parking was difficult to find at first. But this is not a negative reflection of the hotel, because in all major citites parking can be hard to find. In New York City or Paris, it would have been the same scenerio or probably worse. Like many citites in Italy, there are many small roads that you can't drive on or are rather difficult to navigate around. It's just good to be aware of this beforehand. This isn't at all unique to hotel azzi though. There aren't many things I dislike about this facility. However there is one major thing. We had to walk up four flights of stairs to get to our room. If you had a large roller luggage this would be difficult. luckily, we just had a small carry on bag that was easily portable so it was not a problem. Also, for elderly people, people in a wheelchair, pregnant woman, or people who have some type of injury that doesn't allow them to walk well should be aware that there is no elevator in this facility. So going up and down might be a trouble for some people. This did not apply to my boyfriend and I so it wasn't at all an issue. But for some people it very well might be! Also, at night the hallway wasn't lit.

Everything was perfect for me. Very friendly staffs and clean room. Near from Firenze SMN station. We can use Free Internet in our room, not only in the public area. You will also find a supermarket, which you can buy cheap bottled water, by just 2 minute's walk from the hotel. (To arrive it, go to the left when leaving the hotel and turn to the right at the first corner. Within 30 second's walk, you will find it.) If I have vegetable in breakfast, it would be much better. But this is not an issue.

Excellent staff Pretty good breakfast Very clean well decorated rooms Although we are at an annex building, still liked everything Worth the money It's nothing special for Hotel Azzi but in general Italian's need seperate twin and double beds from each other. It doesn't make one double when you bring 2 twin together..

Quite a fun place to stay with interesting design and a lot of character. Quite cheap considering how well located it is for the centre of Florence. Piano in the lobby. I really don't want to give this hotel any bad marks, as in general it's a really good place to stay. However there were a number of small places where it fell down. - Wi-fi router in the lobby, the signal from which didn't seem to carry to my room. - Small children in the lobby, the noise from which did carry to my room. - Piano in the lobby; see comment above. - Mould on my bedroom wall - No hot water first thing in the morning

The hotel is so amazing! All the furniture is a kind of antique, and all the interiors look in this way. Rooms are spacious and all are different. Staff is very nice and welcome. We also had a breakfast in spite of we booked room at the lowest rate which excluded breakfast. Hotel is situated very close to city center (I would even say that in the center). So I will surely recommend it to all my friends and next time in Florence I will stay in Azzi for sure. Nothing - everything is excellent.

Good location, 2 mins away from the train station and 10 mins away from city centre. Not that expensive compared to other hotel in florence. Perfect breakfast and great staff!!! Although the rooms were clean etc, the furniture is old one. I'm sure that they leave old furniture just to keep with the style of florence, however minor improvement can be made. However the rooms were clean and staff was great.

It was a very lovely place... the location was perfect too. The staff was not friendly at all, They never ever resolve any doubt about the hsotel nor Florence. Then again it was mostly our experience all arround Italy, People tend to be rude (With their exceptions, of course).
