Rooms were really clean, location was perfect. The roof terrace offers amazing views, perfect for a glass of wine as the sun goes down. Hostel staff were great, gave us some advice for good local restaurants. Would stay again without a doubt, wish we could have stayed for longer.

Deep inside the old town means a bit of a walk (10min) from where the bus dropped us and there are a few flights of stairs to get to the hostel rooms - the price you pay for the old town and a great view. Perhaps someone with mobility problems may find this difficult.

Matteo and Christina runs this EXCELLENT B&B, where you can hardly put your finger on anything. If you like fish and surprices eat dinner at Mabrouk 40m away from B&B.

A little wider selection of bread in the morning would be nice!

Just a laid-back place with a lot going for it. They give you the keys and off you go after some minor instructions about breakfast, the lower knock and the roof terrace. Safe and secure and easy to find once you figure out how the Old Town works a bit. There are many hotels in and out of the Old Town, but this place only has a few rooms nicely appointed and cozy.

There are some stairs which didn't bother me and is not unusual for this kind of place. I met an older couple who managed it very well by planning and thinking before going out.

This B&B is located in the old part of Alghero, and very convenient for almost everything - restuarants, shopping, etc. The room was clean, and the friendliness of Matteo was terrific.

Parking in Alghero is a major hassle, and even in off-season you will need to park about 10 minute walk away from the B&B (not fun if raining). Also note that the rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor, so carrying luggage upstairs can be a challenge for older people.

Location is as good as it gets. It is nice that you get to stay in an old house, that comes with the price of having narrow stairs and access ways. But I found this awesome. Staff is more than friendly. Matteo explained to us in the first day all the details we needed to know about the island and tipped us on what to do. We got a free bottle of wine in the room. Kind of cute. Breakfast was very healthy, with oranges and fresh juice. Also milk. I am not a fan of continental breakfast, so that did it.

I found the bathroom a bit small and narrow. But I got over it quickly. Remember this is a typical sard house. There were outages of Internet (not too bad) and hot water (bad) in two different mornings. That did not affect us very much. The narrow stairs start bugging you when you have to carry your heavy luggage downstairs. But it's one time and you are anyway pissed off about leaving.

We liked a worm hospitality and advice. Every time I though it was nice to have something the second minute I have been realizing that it was there. Matteo has though about every singe need his guests could have. Wi-fi was not that fast in our room as it was in the kitchen but it was still ok.

Perfect location in the heard of old town, a few steps from Alghero Cathedral and the sea. Amazing terrace view . Nice and cozy rooms. Good coffee machine, pie, cookies and fresh orange juice awailable all 24h per day (free of charge). The owner Matteo is superb! We've got a lot of usefull and interesting information about Alghero and all Sardinian island. Because of poor sound insulation it's possible that noise from the other rooms sometimes could interrupt You, but at least we could live with it. Definitely, I would stay at Matteo's place again and again :) !!!
