Fantastic hosts, great breakfast, excellent hints where to go and what to see and of course Bianca(the dog) guarantee a great time
Very tasty and rich breakfast. Easy access from the airport and just100m from the Duomo square. Nice and cosy room with own and large bathroom. Great deal for this price (47euro per night with breaakfast). Nice staff helping you when need. I hope to come back in the future.
Little noisy place and terrible door bell just next to my door. The rest is absolutely great ;-)
The B&B Staff was very friendly and supportive with a car problem we had. They accompanied us to the nearest police station and dealt with the car hire office. Thanks a lot for this!
There was bad smell in the bath we had, but this can happen in an old, charming house.
Central location, just off Vittorio Emanuele and very close to Piazza Duomo. Charming and most helpful hosts, Lea and Francisco. Large and quirky (in a good sense) room; very comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast, featuring a range of local and home-made foodstuffs. We look forward to returning . . .
Nice location with short walk from bus stops, the fish marked, Duomo and shopping restaurants.
The windows are not soundproof at all, had to use earplugs to sleep, even my husband complaint about the noises from the outside. We lived also in other centre BB, but with a good window we never experienced more noises like this BB in Catania.
Friendly hosts Exceptional quality of room High standard of cleanliness Gorgeous canine and feline friends Amazing breakfast Beautiful View Close to Port (Catania) Local knowledge on arrival Fluent English Perfect amount of decor! Quirkyness Enjoyable Shampoo Strong Wi-fi for streamers
I was upset with not being able to stay longer.
Location and hosts excellent.
The overly funky decor. The automatic deodorizer dispensors spritzing all over the flat to control the smell of sewer gas eminating from the bathrooms.
The location could not have been better - a stone's throw from the beautiful cathedral square, the main shopping and restaurant areas and within easy access of buses to other destinations e.g. Taormina and Syracuse. Comfortable rooms, full of local character, and delicious breakfast served by Lea and Francesco.
- Central location (for tourist attractions). Good for airport. - Sea view (of port) - Friendly hosts - Funky decor. - Wi-fi worked.
- Located in a busy cobbled square. Very noisy on a Saturday night. Lots of car horn "honking" throughout night. Street cleaners early morning! - Bathroom had a nauseating sewage smell (probably from the plumbing). - Noisy a/c which stopped working at 2 am. - Despite being on 3rd floor, balcony doors were not well sound-proofed when shut. Needed opening to vent room, which obviously was even noisier. - Lumpy bed.
Great place, perfectly located near the main attractions and bus stations to the airport, Memole the cat, Bianca the dog and Francesco (human) have been very nice hosts. The breakfast was also very good. Highly recommended!
We were made very welcome and given a great deal of information, both about Catania in particular and also recommendations about places to visit in Sicily. We subsequently visited all of these places and had a fantastic time.
Perfect location. One of the best hotels/ b & bs we have stayed in, the customer service is fantastic and the rooms are charming and facilities are excellent. Book with extreme confidence.
B&B is located in the centre, but I found it is quiet in the wk end. Actually, centre of Catania in the weekend is a bit noisy until the morning. Also, Rea and Francesco were so nice to the visitors and lovely persons! I also loved interior and would like to stay again next time;)
Very warm, helpful and kind owners. Excellent location. Great breakfast and lovely room.
Three minutes' walk from the Duomo square. Bright, quirky furnishings. Shared bathroom was immaculately clean and never busy. Lovely view of church at breakfast, which was great: delicious fruit salad, pastries, bread, ham and cheese, fresh juice and cappucinos, etc. Friendly hosts who helped us book a great Etna trip. Very sweet cat and dog.
Bedroom next to the kitchen can be noisy at breakfast time if you're not up that early.
Excellent and helpful house owner. Good breakfast with fresh fruits. Just 5 mins walk to center and many good restaurants nearby. Free parking just opposite to the B&B. Big and comfort room with style decoration. Wifi is good. Tourist Information just nearby.
Bianca is a flat in a building, no sign and should spend time to find. Strong bad smell from the bathroom, I thought it's old drainage system in a old city.
1. staff: Leia and Francesco are real, friendly, polite, respectful, relaxed, and put their energy into their B+B (including the breakfast). They helped us sort out parking and gave us a couple recommendations for dinner the first night+ aperitivo. She also made sure that her cat (which i was allergic too) stayed in their quarters when I was in the B+B. 2. location is very central and layout of the B+B is nice, with a lovely kicthen/breakfast room, an elevator 3. our private bathroom was huge! and the room was very quiet and had A/C. we found this qute good-value and would recommend it to others.
1. the place is funky-decorated, which is fine, but it could be slightly cleaner. 2. our room (#2) has quite a lot of furniture, but a tiny desk, so there is not really a space to sit and work (plan trip etc)
Room size, Location of B&B, Staff,
Excellent location - and right by a bus stop to and from the airport. Comfortable ensuite room. Very friendly and helpful couple with plenty of local information - including good local restaurants. Good breakfasts too.
Plumbing a bit noisy - but this was a very minor problem.
We stayed in this B&B only for one night but it was great and confortable. Interier of the room was very cosy and homey. There were lots effort put into making the room stylish and artistic which we absolutely adored. Breakfast was great , the owners helped alot in finding places of interest. Would recommend it to others.
The location The staff is nice The flat is well decorated WIFI was working well The price is in line with the service
The bed waasn't confortable
Very comfortable and clean. Spacious, with plenty of room to move. Sunny breakfast room with outlook across the piazza to a beautiful Baroque church. Owners were friendly and helpful.
Leah and Francesco were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to help even suggesting and booking a fantastic Mt Etna/ Taormina tour for us. Francesco came walking to find us when we were lost and had a huge smile on his face the whole time. Leah is born to be a host. She thinks of everything to make you feel at home. Her food is delicious and plentiful and the accommodation has all you need. It felt like you were staying with friends. If you are driving make sure you take the map Leah provides and check the most direct route before leaving the airport. Would we stay here again? Absolutely we would not stay anywhere else.
There is no obvious sign to show you that you had arrived at Bianca bnb, so check the street view on google maps to help you.
Spacious, colorful, clean room with a big bed and an excellent breakfast, best I've ever had ! There was everything you needed and even more. Ricotta brioche I will miss...There is an access to the kitchen - a kettle, water, fruit ! and I appreciated it a lot as in a hotel I wouldn't get a kettle or water whenever I wanted. There is an iron, hairdryer etc., full length big mirror in the room (very appreciated) and just a brilliant atmosphere. Very centrally located, 2 minutes to the main Piazza Duomo. Staff very nice and helpful. Home like atmosphere, nothing like a cold anonymous hotel. I had a great time there.
I came for work so I would appreciate if breakfast could be served before 8am as I rushed a bit. However, before 8am I wouldn't get my lovely brioche (paneficio closed) so I didn't mind I was a bit late for work and in Italy no one really cares ;)
Lea was incredibly helpful and cheerful. It was a LOVELY beginning to my first trip to Sicily. I would definitely stay here again, and I hope to return to Catania and the B&B Bianca! Besides the pretty view and comfort and cleanliness, the breakfast was fantastic.
