Atri is a gem that I want people to visit but also want to keep it a secret. The people of Atri are very welcoming, the town has many places to eat and drink and has an incredible history. The beaches of Pineto are just a 10 minute drive.

too difficult to get around. Not that much to see anyway. definitely need a car to get around. no taxi service. the locals not that helpful to tourists. only a few of the younger residents speak english. I have around the world extensively and my Atri experience was amongst my worst

Tony our host and his family warmly welcomed us into their B&B. Our room was very comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean. Tony provided us with a lot of information about the surrounding area and good local restaurants for lunch and dinner. His family were extremely sweet and it was great to get to know them. Views from the B&B are lovely. The garden is very nice. We had a very nice stay. Thank you!

You can simply walk out of the door and explore this beautiful Italian rural town. The Accommodation was incredibly clean and the owners very helpful. We stayed in a large room at the top of the house with stunning views of the mountains and the sea. We specifically chose a house with air conditioning and it was needed. The use of a kitchen and garden area was a bonus. Great spot for exploring Atri and the surrounding area.

It helped to have Italian speakers in our party but the hostess speaks French as well - she is a talented artist and the house is a showcase of her beautiful paintings. It was like staying in an art gallery, so beautiful.
