No bad experiences, but we took the Napoli exit instead of the A-3 Salerno exit by mistake. Quickly backtracked and then took the Pompei Ovest exit -- phone calls to Irene helped.
Convenient: B&B Elena is located within 5-6 blocks of two entrances to the Pompei ruins; two blocks from a nice restaurant (Plinia) and grocery store (Carrefour); 6-8 blocks from the old downtown area; one mile from a big Mall; and within one mile from several train stations.
Friendly: Irene (and another guy) spoke English and had good advice on nearby items. The A-C and room size was OK (we stayed in #2 and 3). Breakfast was very good (meat, cheese, sweets, yogurt, caffe, etc).
Safe: Side street located on a one-way street made it easy to park, walk in to register and then they had off-street parking. Nice residential neighborhood and good sidewalks to walk downtown, or even to the Mall (La Cartiera).
