It was as if we were visiting an aunt or grandmother's apartment. Just like staying overnight in a family's apartment. It was very nice. We found this town by accident, but we highly recommend it.

I absolutely loved this apartment.
I absolutely loved this apartment. They have done a fantastic job of restoration. The car is right outside the apartment. There’s the lovely pool and only a few apartments on site so not crowded at all!
All you could hear at night was an odd owl and the crickets?grasshoppers? Really peaceful.
We had 2 great day trips out to Cinque Terre and Pisa both were about 1 1/4 hours away.
Would definitely recommend and would definitely like to go back!
Pontremoli itself has several small supermarkets down in the bottom.
We chose to cook for ourselves so didn’t try food locally.

Wonderful old town centre with a few great restaurants - we ate at the wonderful Osteria da Bussé and the kids had ice creams at the Caffé degli Svizzeri. The best thing was staying outside the town in the hills where the temperature was a few notches lower than the coast - perfect in July!
This accommodation is exceptional, and far exceeded my expectations. Pontremoli is a lovely town, this house is in a brilliant position in the centre. The bedroom is beautiful & mattress is incredibly comfortable. The kitchen facilities are perfect with plenty of space to self cater. And the terrace overlooking stunning red Italian rooftops, a chiming church in the distance, and hills beyond. Just stunning. Really, really stunning. And just what I needed on my cycle ride from Canterbury to Rome. Thank you!
Excellent location in a quiet and pretty spot in the hills. We had a lovely view from our room onto the countryside and the hotel grounds were extensive and well kept. The staff were helpful and kind and we really enjoyed the restaurant, which had an excellent selection of local dishes and a lovely atmosphere - we ate there twice. Breakfast was also very good with delicious croissants (best we've had in Italy) being the highlight. Pontremoli itself is an interesting old town, well worth a visit.
Excellent place for our 3 days, situated in the mountains above Pontremoli. Great view. Apartment had all we needed in terms of equipment, nicely styled. Good place if you want to do the Stretti di Garedo canyoning walk (tip!) and access Cinque Terra (via train station Pontremoli). We also liked the town of Pontremoli. Attractively priced incl breakfast. Friendly owners allowing us to do our washes using their equipment. Guests can use different terraces and gardens.
This is a really great B&B. The little town of Traverde is about 10 to 15 minutes from Pontremoli by car and nice and quiet. Beautiful view of the mountains from the porch. I was doing the Via Francigena and Fausta was kind enough to pick me up and drop me off in Pontremoli. She offered me a sandwich knowing I had been hiking the whole day. She asked what I would like for breakfast. Not many B&B's do that. The room was nice and clean and well equipped.
We arrived after dark, but the next morning we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view from our room. The area is absolutely stunning.
The staff was friendly and there are plenty of items to choose from for breakfast.
We recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area
Ms Anna was very kind and helpful. The location is a bit far from pontremoli and only reachable by car. It it is immersed in the nature, where no noise is present, except for animals that you can also find on the road, especially at night.
Large room in a historical building in the center of Pontremoli. Breakfast and coffee facilities available and a lovely balcony (garden view) furnished with a small table and two chairs where we enjoyed the breakfast.
Everything really. The view from the little terrasse were beautiful, the bedrooms were very spacious and spotless. The host was extremely welcoming. I would definitely advise staying there if visiting Pontremoli.
Convenient for the motorway and Pontremoli. Nice large bathroom, very comfortable bed and nice view. Alexander brought a fan which was needed and gave us tomatoes etc from his orchard. He was a brilliant host
The apartment was stunning.
The building was beautiful.
The host Davide was exceptionally helpful.
This was a wonderful experience 10/10.
Thanks Davide for our wonderful memories of Pontremoli.
Beautiful pool on a quiet mountain near Pontremoli. Because it is on the mountain the climate is much better than in the city/village: cool in the evenings, warm during the day.
The view is very special,, our host is very accomodating and considerate. The town Pontremoli is not that far to reach and it was worth to see the old part of it.
