Carrying bags up the stairs
Wonderfully located, stylishly appointed, we loved B&B Il Corso and Sienna as well.
Super friendly and efficient staff - tasteful surroundings. Lots of extras like coffee, fresh fruit etc., great location - cannot fault this lovely place
B&B Il Corso is perfectly located for exploring Siena. It is tastefully decorated with quality fittings. The manager was helpful and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and knowledgably answering all our questions about local history and attractions.
Despite very efficient double-glazed windows, some noise from the street below could be heard at night. This was only a minor issue as you expect some noise when staying in the centre of a lively tourist spot.
Street party until 4 am - group of friends - no one to break up.
breakfast and outside seating area Beautiful clean well appointed room easy walking distance to everything
an old old building so only a staircase. You need to be able to be able to pick up your suitcases.
Central location. Quality décor. Pleasant and comfortable room. Staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful.
Being in a busy location, the street noise can go on late at night.
Enjoyed the location - in the heart of town right next to the Campo. clean modern room. nice size bathroom. friendly staff. good price. good breakfast
The shower was a bit inconsistent - it turned off about every 20-25 seconds but that was not a big deal. Was a bit stressful on checkout as no one was at the desk in the morning (9am). They finally arrived but we almost missed our train.
excellent place, very good located, nice rooms, helpful staff
A fabulous location right on the pedestrian strip. One minute to the square. Friendly helpful staff. Lovely modern bathroom. Good breakfast.
Room was a little small but very comfrotable.
Exceptional staff, excellent location, nice design
A small problem with the soundproofing.
Very helpful support
The best place we stayed during our Italy trip. Location is perfect, rooms are beautiful, clean, comfortable and great breakfast. Our host Palina was fantastic! She arranged for us to drive up to the property to drop our bags and showed us the best places for parking outside the wall. And she was even able to get our reservation for the OPA tour changed. A most wonderful experience, would highly recommend to anyone looking for lodging in Siena.
It's too expensive as a B&B, even location is good, but not good at all.
Bad service, no elevator.
It's nice, but a bit basic.
Location, personal suggestions from reception and background of Siena, was very clean and comfortable. We had a great stay.
Friendly, warm b&b in the centre of Siena. Rooms verge on the rustic, with great noise cancelling windows (noisy little town..)
Not the fault of I Corso, but no cars / taxis / anything allowed in the centre of Siena, so LOTS of suitcase carrying.. Could be tough if you're unprepared. Breakfast OK, not out of this world
Clean room Good breakfast Value for money City center Russian speaking host
No parking so you have to walk up the hill to get to the hotel, for the rest it was all perfect
Having read previous reviews opted for this hotel for its locality and style. Our expectations were fully met. Room was clean comfortable and nicely decorated. Anyone with concerns about street noise (our room overlooked the main thoroughfare) need not worry. Breakfast was ample. Staff friendly and very helpful. Although access via stairs liked the fact that you were given keys and therefore it felt like having your own apartment in beautiful Siena!
location staff friendliness room
Great b&b Great location
Cheap, perfect location, clean
Stayed at B&B Il Corso for an overnight stay in Siena in July 2014. The location of the B&B is fantastic, being just a minute or so from Piazza del Campo. The accommodation is furnished to a very high standard; the room was also very clean and homely. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming and friendly. I was very pleased we booked here and would absolutely recommend this B&B.
I honestly couldn't find anything to fault.
Right in the heart of the city, excellent service, spotlessly clean.
Rooms at the front were noisy through the night. Bed was a bit hard.
Fabulous location just off the Campo, if you want to be in the thick of it, stay here! Staff helpful, great breakfast and Boutique Hotel decor, will be coming back as soon as possible.
