Not related to our personal experience we find it strange how hotel management reacts to some of the reviews of fellow travellers (Raul from the US, John from Italy, Selen from Turkey). Glad that we didn't have any problems. Wouldn't have appreciated the tone of some of the answers. Isn't the customer always right?
Historic building, located one block away from the Corso, clean, modern design. Our room was split up in a living and sleeping area. Both rather on the small side but together with the bathroom they made up for a comfortable, nice hotel experience. Attached to it was a Romeo-and-Juliet-balcony which allowed us to observe the hustle and bustle of the main pedestrian street in Siena. Loved that very much. Room itself was quiet, on a Tuesday night we didn't experience any of the noises other reviewers write about. Receptionist was very friendly, indicated to us a good restaurant near by which was not very touristy and also organized swiftly a taxi for our return. Both ladies (evening and morning) were very kind and attentive.
