Very very nice place, feels like at home, very clean, beautiful views, nice decorations, looks like newly renovated, easy walk distance from the beach and restaurants, friendly hosts, fresh products on breakfast, highly recommended!

WiFi not brilliant.
The owners were wonderful and very helpful, even picked us up from the station, and returned our bags to the station when we left for free. Even got us gluten free breakfast

A bit far away from the sea
Confortable and nice

Fair hike (including at least 160 steps) uphill from the train station - but not too bad
The hosts were lovely, the room with the balcony more than comfortable. Nice to have a fridge and kettle. Comfortable bed, great shower. Breakfast was lovely each morning. Included off street parking.

I wish they would have mentioned the staircase shortcut in the confirmation email. We chose to walk rather than take a cab and knowing about the staircase would have helped.
The view, the breakfast, the room.

We didn't mind at all, but there are ca. 160 steps down to the promenade and an additional walk uphill to the B&B. This is NOT a criticism, just an observation. There was quite a lot of rain while we stayed and the towels didn't really dry overnight. Perhaps that was due to the rain as the room was not, and did not smell, damp at all.
Very nice room, very clean with comfortable bed. The view was lovely, amidst olive groves and lemon trees in the garden. Peace and quiet after the noise and people in town! We had the room with a small balcony where we often relaxed after a hard days' walking! It's a family-run business, everybody is extremely friendly and they were very helpful when my husband fell ill on our last day. Good breakfast too and the fridge is stocked with water.

Nothing really. It was a pleasant surprise after a long drive from Como Lakes District.
The location was beautiful amongst the olive grove and citrus trees. A boutique BnB with welcoming hosts and the extended family. Very modern decor and facilities which echo memories of Bali. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the valley down to the Mediterranean was great. Free onsite parking and a short stroll to the beach was a plus.

While the walk to old town is short, it gets old. It's the price you pay to stay off the beaten path. We didn't realize you could only pay by cash but luckily had enough euros.
Olive and lemon trees, birds singing, mountain views, serenity from previous travel. Beautiful. But the best is the family atmosphere. Laurianna attends to breakfast and all other needs and makes a fantastic lemon cello! They provided umbrellas when it rained, beach towels for the beach. Lovely little patio and parking if you have a car.

the rooms kind of humid, which made it less comfortable.
location (5 minute walk to the beach and citycenter), service, very friendly staff, breakfast was excellent, free parking.

Owners are incredibly friendly. We felt almost like family. Great location; a true rustic "Italian experience".

This B/B does not accept credit cards.
The intimate B/B is a lovely home, and its owners very helpful. Our room and bed was generous and comfortable with a nice view of the hills surrounding Monterossa. The breakfast area was artistically decorated, with plenty of dining options. Yes, this B/B sits above the bustle of the town, which we liked. We even enjoyed the walk into town, down/up the path through the neighborhood. We drove here, and I really wanted to be able to park my car at our lodging, rather than find a spot in town and haul my luggage.

Internet was down for three days and it was difficult to have it looked at. Grandparents English is limited and they didn't seem to understand the importance. Paying by cash only is a pain.
The hosts were very friendly and accommodating (mostly). Short walk into the village or for other locations they will provide a lift - within reason. Rooms very clean and modern but a little small.

It is a 5-10 minute walk...but so is everything in Monterosso, so don't let it deter you. You can only pay by cash, which is a little annoying for travelers.
Hotel is set a little bit back from the main drag - the result is bird song and serenity. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and modern.

Payment by cash only. We were not prepared and had to go to 2 bancomats and use 3 different cards in order to withdraw sufficient funds to pay.
Staff were very helpful, telling us of local festivals. Beautiful location and comfortable, though small, room.

We didn't have any dislikes.
Very friendly & helpful family. Peaceful location & away from the touristy area. Lovely walk down to the beach, railway station & restaurants- about 10-15 minutes. Excellent breakfast. We loved our stay here.

It was a bit of a walk from the beach, about 150 steps on the stairs, but much needed since we ate sooo much icecream at the gelatteria! :) but it was still closer than we originally thought!
Absolutely wonderful staff, newly renovated and tastefully decorated, delisious breakfast buffet with much to choose from and the lady who attented the breakfast made the best cappuccino! A beautiful garden and pattio! Great information provided about the area. We had a wonderful honeymoon at Le Giare and 5 terre! We strongly recommend it!

Internet very very unstable. There are around 170 steps to get to the beach from the hotel - easy to go; not so easy to come back.
Owners are very kind, rooms are new and breakfast is excellent.

Very friendly staff and excellent service. Beautiful garden and peaceful location quite near the beach and railway station. Extra plus for free transport from and to railway station.

very bad wifi connection

I can't find anything bad to say! The room was very good and the B&B has a nice terasse overlooking the spacious garden with lemon and olive trees. The family who runs the B&B is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also very good with lots of varieties and the self-made lemon cake is a real delicacy. I can only recommend this warm place!!!
