Perfect location, huge rooms!!! very friendly staff and nice breakfast.

The elevator to the 3rd from where the b&b is located costs 20 cents. If you don't have a coin handy, you'll have to take the stairs.

    Plenty of space.

We stayed at the weekend, lots of loud action at the piazza close by. The small door is the only way to get in at the weekend. If there is ever an emergency, to leave your room at night, it will be three locked doors to negotiate and well over one hundred stairs to walk down. Carmen, the host is charming friendly and natural. She helped us to find buses, ferries and her recommendations of places to go were excellent. She was also flexible about check out time and allowed us to leave our bags with her after check out.

The reception girl is so nice and pretty. The room is huge with second floor, perfect soft and wide bed... Also there were two sofas, so there can live 6 persons. Breakfast is small, but there were very tasty yoghurts and croissants.

It's absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to find it! The parking place is quite strange...and expensive. Hotel is situated in last floor of the builging, and has very small elevator which for you should pay 20 cents(1 coin only).

Great location, lots of atmosphere and character in the building, and a very charming and obliging host. We requested an early check-in (8:00 am) because we were arriving on the overnight train from Palermo, and this was no trouble. We were not charged, and got breakfast as well, Lovely tall room, and great view of Piazza Dante from the breakfast room.

Signage outside really needs improving, as it's by no means obvious where the B&B is (specially that it's on the 3rd floor). The quirky lift, needing 20c each ride, is a bit of a challenge. If you try and open the doors too early, it refuses to open or move and then you are stuck, unless you have another 20c piece, and not all of us do....

The best location - so close to old town, museum and few steps from metro line 1 stop Dante. Spacious, comfortable and elegant room. Carmen is so nice and helpful person, she can answer any question about the city and surroundings atractions. Good sweet breakfast (yummy cake and coffee) and wonderful view of Piazza Dante from breakfast room.

Both the bedroom and breakfast room were delightful. Wonderfully spacious bedroom and very comfortable large bed. Carmen was extremely helpful in every respect and produced delicious homemade cake and yoghurt for breakfast. Highly recommended.

Delightful B&B with large rooms having high ceilings in a delightful 16th century palace converted to a B&B. We had the room overlooking the plaza - nice to observe the activity. Very good breakfast and charming owner/hostess. Convenient to subway stop 100m from B&B. Lots of dining within walking distance.

Exactly the charm, friendliness and location we had hoped to find. Carmen is a wonderful hostess and provided us with all the support we neede. The breakfast room food and view are wonderful. The location is perfect for the Capellas of San Servero and San Gennaro at the Duomo

The elevator requires a 20 cent coin to access the 3rd floor but even that was charming in a way

Location very convenient for everything. Carmel friendly and helpful. She also provided a kettle for me when requested and encouraged me to use the kitchen facility as I was staying for 10 days.

Beds a little hard for me but I have very soft bed at home. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. No shower curtain so the bathroom gets washed every time you take a shower!

Quite difficult to find in the dark but once there it is an old building with very modern interior; perhaps too modern losing many of the original features. Carmen was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good.
