Score from 103 reviews Very good
Paola and her family/staff are very nice and gentil. They do what they can to make you feel home. Lovely place, pleasant location, good breakfast.
Friendly family, could not have been more helpful. Wonderful breakfast with homemade treats. Perfect location.
A little noisy at night. But wonderful location
Good location, very nice staff, good breakfast and nice bedroom. Very good value for money.
Although we had a private bathroom it was outside of our room.
Liked the welcome we received which continued throughout our stay. Amenities and room were very clean. The location was very close to the city and public transport and restaurants were just across the road. Paola and family were great. So helpful.
Traffic a bit noisy at night.
In Rome alone for 2 days. Paola and her daughter were very kind & hospitable. Charming place you don't feel as if your are in a hotel at all. Made me feel right at home. Trastevere is a great area to see another side of Rome.
Superb Executive Room decorated beautifully! The whole family looked after you, easy check in and directions to find. Big breakfast with lots of choice and plentiful. Early and late check out arranged for us and organised our taxi to the airport - couldn't do more for you - very friendly and warm. Very central for easy access to the city.
We loved everything, Paula is so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much of a problem. The area was ideally located. Breakfast was delicious, with a good choice. Parking no problem, we paid for a ticket which Paula purchased for us. For our first time in Rome, it was an ideal stop before the rest of our trip, wish we could have stayed longer. Grazie tanto Paula and family.
Only staying one night!
I found Paula quite friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good.
Excellent service, value for money, lovely family and great breakfast! Only 20min walk to Vatican City and great night life - bars and restaurants approx 5/10min walk away!
Nothing - all perfect!!
Mammals breakfast was amazing and set in a great room together with other guests rather the cold big hotel rooms.
This B & B is tucked away in a a lovely area of Rome where you walk out your door to the many small restaurants that line the back alleys. The tram is right out front and access to all significant sights is easy. Breakfast is a delight here and the beds are the most comfortable of anywhere that we stayed on our 6 week trip.
We enjoyed the lovely, old building with formal furniture and lovely nautical paintings and decorations. The bed was by far the most comfortable we slept in all of Italy. We especially liked the housekeeper/cook. She was so friendly and accommodating. We missed breakfast the first morning because of an early appointment and when we returned she was still there, waiting for us with a beautful breakfast laid out. We couldn't believe it. She was very sweet and accommodating. The airconditioning also worked great as did Wifi.
Although the bathroom is private, it is not connected to the bedroom. We had to enter a hallway that other guests used in order to use the bathroom. We never saw anyone else, and it wasn't a problem, it just felt different. Also, although the apartment is very centrally located and we were able to easily walk everywhere (Pantheon, Colluseum, Vatican City) the street and area seemed a bit sketchy. We didn't have any problems, but I wouldn't walk to walk down that Main Street after midnight.
The location is excellent with lots of restaurants on the doorstep . Main sites are within easy reach . Staff couldn't be more helpful. Great breakfast .
The location was great with lots of restaurants on the doorstep and easy access to the main sites. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly . They gave us lots of useful advice and even bought a toothbrush for my son! Breakfast was good and set us up for the day.
nice apartment very helpful staff close to city center
The room and the staff were great. The breakfast was the best I have in Italy.
Noise air conditioning and the bathroom wasn't in suit.
This was our first B&B experience and we are now spoilt forever. The apartment was quaint and beautiful, Paola and her daughters were so wonderfully warm and welcoming, we just never wanted to leave. The facilities were good, the full breakfast was better than we expected on the continent and we met some other lovely guests and compared notes for each day. The tram outside takes you direct to the centre of town if you want to do the touristy things, but the real pleasure of Rome is in the streets, bars and restaurants in Trestevere itself. This really is the place to stay in Rome - highly recommended and many thanks to Paola and her family. We felt like Romans.
Can't think of anything to complain about - it was all too good. Shower was a bit iffy - but that's just Rome !!
This place was wonderful! Rome is a big place and there are lots of places to stay but we loved this B&B. the couple running the B&B were so nice and helped us with maps and any questions we had. Wifi worked perfectly and the breakfast was great. After traveling in Europe for 3 weeks Rome was our last stop and this was by far the best place we had stayed during the trip. I highly recommend!
Nothing, it was a perfect stay.
I researched this hotel before booking, All reviews were spot on restaurants were in abundance, with top food and old narrow streets perfect place to relax and stay for visiting Rome
- Very friendly and helpful staff - Excellent breakfast - Close to (almost) everything - Airconditioned rooms! - Clean, snug and good
the hosts were excellent, very friendly & welcoming. They were helpful with directions to the city & the local area. The area has a really special atmosphere, lots of nice eateries and bars . Cant wait to return!
We have no complaints
The room was very large, accommodating, and comfortable. The owner and her daughter were so kind, and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious every morning and we loved the Trastevere area. We would definitely stay there again.
Everything! A wonderful room full of character & space. Lovely old building in brilliant location in great district of Trastevere. We walked everywhere. A team outside is an option too. Very friendly owners, great breakfast & a very positive experience overall. Highly recommended.
Nothing was lacking.
We arrived very early (around ten am after overnight flight from US) and our room was ready for us to come right in and crash - exactly what we needed. The spot is great for wondering in Trastevere AND down to the Lungo Tevere. Good breakfast including hot scrambled eggs. A good value for the money.
Very friendly and helpful staff, big, comfortable rooms, nice breakfast. Beautifully decorated
We couldn't find it at first because Google maps places it on the other side of the street
