My only concern was that when I got there it was cash, even though it said at the time of booking that cards were excepted, so I spent half a day looking for a place to take out money.
Some people have put in the negative box that this lady doesn't speak English - why should she! I stayed here because this lady didn't speak English.
Easy to find (if you know where you’re going). From the Arena at Piazza Bra, looking towards the gate way with the clock, go through the gate/road on the right hand side, take your first turning (past the posh ice cream shop and the wine shop/restaurant). You'll go down a side street. You'll see Pam's supermarket on the right, so cross over to it and keep going past the double wooden doors, the shop windows and around the corner a bit further you'll come across 2 green wooden double doors. Look on the gold plate and you'll see in tiny writing BnB primavera. Easy and only 5 minute walk. The reason I booked this place is because the lady doesn't speak English at all I wanted to practice my Italian. It was fantastic. This lady likes to keep all her rooms very tidy, so if you are not one for keeping your clothes put away or shoes laying around be prepared for things to be moved and post-its with messages on them. If you have ocd like me and don't leave things laying about then your fine. Just a warning for you. There is only one room with a private bathroom, all others have to share. Rooms have air con, free WiFi. The kitchen is small, breakfast is 8am-10am, but I loved it as it was like you were eating in her kitchen. If you like plenty of choice for breakfast then you may be disappointed, basic cereal, some pastries, toast, ham, egg and tomatoes, nectarines and that's pretty much it, but Italians don't do breakfasts anyway, so it's just like being in an Italian home. You can put your own food in the fridge. I found the lady quite happy to chat to me, telling me about her family, asking me what we had done that day and where were we going the next. . I stayed here for a week, while others seem to stay for a few days. I have no problem with going back if I was to visit again.
