The lady who runs the place is very nice but she speaks only italian. It was very difficult to communicate. In addition, they do not have a parking for free, they only give free parking permits till check out time. If you want to stay longer in Verona, you have to pay for the parking.
We were given a locals parking permit for our rented car and the location is so close to everything in Verona! You can walk everywhere, there is even a grocery store downstairs and coffee shop and the sights are all around the corner. The son and mother who run it are so welcoming and friendly!
The shared bathroom is the only down side but rally this isn't much of a problem at all.
very clean and huge room with classic design, maintained by an old lady
Comfort and perfect location!
Owner doesn't know english! You have to be prepared to be very quiet and patient as the B&B has so many restrictions!
Room was beautiful Location was perfect, grocery store around the corner, the sights, shopping and resturants of Verona, a short walk away. Great value and very vice people.
Cash only, we decided to pay for parking (15euro), so we didnt have to look for blue line parking on the street. Shared bathroom, but no concerns or problem, nicely updated. The value of the room was worth the parking charge.
wonderful place. super clean bathrooms and nice bedrooms. owner very gracious and attentive. breakfast very ample and fresh melon was extra delicious.
tricky to find but hints from other travelers made it very easy. turn left onto street just before arch. park on the street on left side. B&B in building with 2 brass knobs. doorbell label. next to great supermarket!!. walk under arch and at verona arena. great great location!
the place was on great location and clean there was kitchen available
the host did't knew a word in english wich made all the process of finding the place and settle in very difficult. when we checked on booking the parking they said free parking but the thing that they didn't told that you have to find a parking spot on the street and it's almost impossible
The B&B had lots of charm. The owner, Carmelina, didn't speak any English but was helpful and provided a map of the city, with recommendations of where to go. Very clean to the point of OCD..
poor wifi signal at times, hard mattress, could have been more choice at breakfast
Location Wardrobe space Easy to come and go
Poor breakfast later in the stay as the fruit was not replenished. All our stuff was moved from the bedroom and the bathroom into the terrace ante-room when our room was cleaned on our second day! Carmelina, lovely lady, only speaks Italian - difficult to communicate. Parking. Booking confirmation offered free parking with reservation, so I reserved a space, but on arrival was only offered street parking on meters. This was actually cheaper than a multistorey, if there was a space. We were lucky to get parked each time we returned to the street. But on leaving Carmelina tried to charge €15 for garage parking!
Breakfast arrangements - help yourself with a dispensing drinks machine Carmella not speaking English as gave me an opportunity to practice my Italian Location - on stazione side of centre and very close to anfiteatro. Small supermarket nearby too.
Street did not have any name plate at either end so if you didn't know where it was, could be difficult to find - advise looking on Google map street view before leaving UK
Host was very friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to the main piazza. Place was very clean.
We had a very comfortable, clean room with a shared bathroom. The B&B is in an excellent location and the owner is friendly. There is a generous breakfast available as self-service in the kitchen.
It is not possible to pay by credit card.
Well situated... The owner is an Italian lady... She is very friendly and nice... She tries to do anything well... I love being there for one night...
The room was nice, clean, shared bathrooms okay. Simple, close to Piazza Bra, Roman Ampitheater and restaurants. Adequate if you just need a place to stay close to shopping and sightseeing.
B & B would not confirm reservations. I tried sending emails and calling several times prior to our trip. No answer. Had to call Bookings.com during our trip (very expensive call!) and have them confirm reservations. Breakfast as very limited. Staff (one older woman) nice but understood no English. Bed was hard. Balcony opened onto small Piazza where locals gathered, old men and young people smoking and loud.
Had a lovely time
Owner only speaks Italian, so be prepared to deal with that. She is a delightful old lady, and runs a wonderful place.
The location is amazing, right around the corner from the main Piazza. The room was a very good size and super clean. Wifi connection & air con was very good. Bathroom was modern and had everything we needed. When we first arrived we got a bus to Piazza Bra then walked back on ourselves but walked back to the train station when we left as we felt it wasn't too far.
The woman who owned it was lovely but couldn't speak a word of English.. not that she should have to in Italy! but it did give us a few problems. However, we managed to translate through other guests. On the first day we got there around 4, unpacked and left to have a look round. When we got back she had moved all of our things out of our main room and into a small room through patio doors, which we thought was a bit strange.
B&B Primavera is run by a sweet elderly lady named Carmelina. When we arrived, she hugged me like an old friend she hadn't seen for years. Her rooms are beautifully prepared and, along with the location, just about justify the price. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the central square of Verona. It is very easy to find - just turn left immediately before the prominent double arch on the main road entering the town. If you wait a little while, you can find a parking space on the same street and Carmelina will lend you her parking permit which will allow you to park for free. Otherwise, you pay at the meter (prices not exorbitant). You will need to learn one or two phrases in Italian to communicate with Carmelina, but even you don't manage to, you will still get by.
Carmelina has lots of rules which she posts on various places around the apartment. Though one can understand why and it helps her to keep the apartment in beautiful condition.
Ticked every box 5star
clean and comfortable. the location is excellent.
the owner just speaks italian, but she is very friendly and willing to help.
We stayed one night. Very good location, Carmelina is helpful but speaks not so much englese. You should be careful with the hot water in the shower. Don't waste it. Easy To find, and could Go There again. Nice
If You don't understand italian at all, it harder To communicate, but not impossible..:)
Kindly and smartful crew. Carmelna is cute and friendly who cares about all that everything was fine.
I didn't knew that it was actually a four bed apartment.
Clean, perfect location, hostess (Carmelina) was nice.
If you don't speak Italian it is difficult to communicate with the hostess. No one to translate, led to confusion.
Perfect location, satisfying breakfast and we were allowed to leave our bags when arriving early
Not enough toilet paper in bathroom and no one on site to ask
Location, cleanliness, facilities, comfort, staff
The staff did not speak english :)
