Host was very friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to the main piazza. Place was very clean.
We had a very comfortable, clean room with a shared bathroom. The B&B is in an excellent location and the owner is friendly. There is a generous breakfast available as self-service in the kitchen.
It is not possible to pay by credit card.
Well situated... The owner is an Italian lady... She is very friendly and nice... She tries to do anything well... I love being there for one night...
Had a lovely time
Owner only speaks Italian, so be prepared to deal with that. She is a delightful old lady, and runs a wonderful place.
The location is amazing, right around the corner from the main Piazza. The room was a very good size and super clean. Wifi connection & air con was very good. Bathroom was modern and had everything we needed. When we first arrived we got a bus to Piazza Bra then walked back on ourselves but walked back to the train station when we left as we felt it wasn't too far.
The woman who owned it was lovely but couldn't speak a word of English.. not that she should have to in Italy! but it did give us a few problems. However, we managed to translate through other guests. On the first day we got there around 4, unpacked and left to have a look round. When we got back she had moved all of our things out of our main room and into a small room through patio doors, which we thought was a bit strange.
B&B Primavera is run by a sweet elderly lady named Carmelina. When we arrived, she hugged me like an old friend she hadn't seen for years. Her rooms are beautifully prepared and, along with the location, just about justify the price. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the central square of Verona. It is very easy to find - just turn left immediately before the prominent double arch on the main road entering the town. If you wait a little while, you can find a parking space on the same street and Carmelina will lend you her parking permit which will allow you to park for free. Otherwise, you pay at the meter (prices not exorbitant). You will need to learn one or two phrases in Italian to communicate with Carmelina, but even you don't manage to, you will still get by.
Carmelina has lots of rules which she posts on various places around the apartment. Though one can understand why and it helps her to keep the apartment in beautiful condition.
Ticked every box 5star
clean and comfortable. the location is excellent.
the owner just speaks italian, but she is very friendly and willing to help.
We stayed one night. Very good location, Carmelina is helpful but speaks not so much englese. You should be careful with the hot water in the shower. Don't waste it. Easy To find, and could Go There again. Nice
If You don't understand italian at all, it harder To communicate, but not impossible..:)
Kindly and smartful crew. Carmelna is cute and friendly who cares about all that everything was fine.
I didn't knew that it was actually a four bed apartment.
Clean, perfect location, hostess (Carmelina) was nice.
If you don't speak Italian it is difficult to communicate with the hostess. No one to translate, led to confusion.
Perfect location, satisfying breakfast and we were allowed to leave our bags when arriving early
Not enough toilet paper in bathroom and no one on site to ask
Location, cleanliness, facilities, comfort, staff
The staff did not speak english :)
The location was great. It was near to the center yet quiet. The host is very warm and friendly. The breakfast was richer than expected
The wifi is so slow it practically doesn't exist. Also the host doesn't speak English at all and also she doesn't accept credit card payments contrary to what's written on the website
Quiet, however it's downtown.
Must know (minor discomfort): They do not own a parking space, however they propose it. They have a special card (putting under your car's windscreen parking is free), finding a space though is not easy in downtown (you should take into account).
I have never seen such a clean guest house. Our room was beautiful with a balcony on a quiet street but right in the middle of town. Carmelina was very helpful and gave me a chance to practise my Italian.
- very clean
Excellent, clean, wonderfull staff LOVED IT!!!
It should have one B&B Primavera in every city!!! THIS PLACE IS WONDERFULL
The place was immaculate clean. The location is unbeatable. Very quiet at night. Signora Carmelina takes pride of the place.
Very beautiful rooms, very tidy, lovely lady to deal with just does not speak any English. There is a lift. Got to leave our bags there for free after we checked out Wifi was good.
Lady does not speak English at all & very hard to sort everything out, took about an hr to check in, this was not good as we were very pushed for time. Hard to use shower as too many guests using at same time. Breakfast area is way to small, so many people wanting breakfast at same time, we could not get to anything. There was clothes in the room & draws & wardrobe, it felt like we had been put into someone's room & we shouldn't have been there, just felt weird.
No free parking card, no English speaking staff, high price for mutual bathroon, too many rules,
The owner is an old lady. She was very freindly to us although she only speaks Italian. Communication was not a problem because she prepares all information written in different languages. The location is excellent. You can walk to old arena in five minutes. There are several supermarkets and nice restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!
