Metro station very close (10 minutes from Termini) Quiet Super market (groceries) very close Very good Wi-Fi Cheap
We arrived after 22:00 and were charged for that 20EUR
Good location on a big street, very close to a metro station and with a big supermarket on the ground floor. Spacious room and nice double bed. For 52 euros + taxes we wouldn't get much more anywhere in Rome at the end of september.
There was no fridge in the room.
My mother and I spend four great days at Rome. B&B Toma is in an excellent location, one minute from a metro station (witch is very rare in Rome) and 15 minutes of a train station, that leads inclusive to Fimucio Airport. Although, we went by metro to Termini train station (lifters and automatic stairs for carrying the luggage) and then get a express train to the airport, very comfortable. To the coliseum and other monuments near stays about 20 minutes in metro, and the Vatican 30 minutes. In the B&B, even the bathroom being shared we have any trouble, cause there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms, we always found it available. Mario, the B&B owner, is very nice and organized, and there are signs in the door of the building at the street indicating where the B&B is. The coffee is simple and great, and it also stays over a market, so we can buy other stuff to eat on a great price. We enjoyed so much and recommend it to everyone who goes to Rome.
+localization (supermarket below, metro station almost next to it, nice ice cream shop on the other side of the street) +big rooms +clean
-noise (Via Appia Nuova is quite busy street)
Good location, few steps from metro, we had room to court so it was silent at nights, clean bathrooms
We stayed for 7 nights and had to ask for clean towels, which is riddiculous, they didnt even make our beds on some days. Only room service was they gave us breakfast to room (which was same every day), dont understand why it has such a high score, would not stay there again.
Not the nicest B&B I stayed in (the only to charge for luggage storage), but it is clean, comfortable and affordable. It is located in a residential neighborhood directly on a subway stop which makes the city easily accessible. There is a grocery in the same building and an excellent cafe next door.
Charge to store luggage. No staff on site except by pre-arranged check in/out times.
The b&b is conveniently located near a metro station. What is more, in the same building there is a cafe and a huge supermarket where you can find anything you need. The rooms are clean and spacious, with big closets and a nice balcony. The wifi connection was relatively good. The shared bathrooms were very comfortable and always clean.
The breakfast isn't good, rooms are cleaned every four days, and if you need clean towels earlier than that you have to pay 4€. We also wanted to leave our baggage at the b&b for a couple of hours after the checkout, but we were informed that we had to pay 20€(more expensive than it is at the termini station)
We liked the place. The metro was near, and this part of the city wasn't full of turists. Under the accomodation there was a 'supermercati' = supermarket, which is cheaper than other places. After we tried a lot places to eat in the downtown, fortunately we found the best restaurant in Rome: Spacca Napoli, near the B&B Toma! One street from there! Everybody must try this place! Take with yourself dictionary, because this is such Italian: there is no English menu, there is no man who speaks English, but the food is amazing! Real Italian food. We like the park too next to the accomodation. And the coffee we got every morning, was delicious.
The room where we slept was a little bit loud, because of the traffic. It was so warm and must opened the window. There was no refrigerant or some kind of kitchen what we can use. But it wasn't such a big problem, we drank warm beer in the evening. :)
The only good thing was that it was close to a metro station.
The service was terrible. There is just one person as staff. It is very probable that you arrive at the hotel after a long trip and face the close doors. We were lucky that the guy was there at the time we arrived but when we wanted to check-out there was nobody there and we had to wait nearly 1.5 hr for the guy to come. we saw a couple who wanted to check in but, like us they had to wait as well. It was around 10 am, just around regular check-in/check-out time. Also, we had to put our luggage in the place since our flight was in the evening, but refused to do it because he asked for 15 Euro. Have never seen this in any other hotels! Above all, our room was facing a road with endless noise even at nights. We couldn't get rid of it even with windows closed.
The staff was not in the b&b most of the time. There was nobody to talk to when we needed help. The owners were not responsible at all regarding to us. I don't recommend it at all!
5 minute walk to metro. Market below the B&B Good breakfast and espresso
It is very near to a metro station although far away from center of Rome. There are many shops and restaurant beside the hotel. The shops and restaurants are very cheap in price compare to Rome center. We enjoy the shopping and dining near by the hotel.
It is 6 stations away from Rome center.
I stayed at B&B Toma with my mom. When we checked in, my mom took a look at the place and said she was very satisfied. The guest rooms and bathrooms looked clean. The B&B was well maintained by the nice owner Mario. There is a supermarket on the ground floor of the building. The metro station is only a few minutes walk.
Location is great, rooms are clean.
Family house, clean and large. 5 minutes' walk to the metro station.
The bath room for shower is a little bit small.
Clean, with great location.
Location (realy close to Metro station) ; Cleanliness; Good service; Big, comfortable bed; Nice room; Friendly staff;
This place was really nice. Room clean, good looking. Enough space for baggage. Balcony was good for drying shoes. Internet fast. Owner very helpful. Two big bathrooms available. Big shop downstairs and the metro station very close.
Minus of this place was lots of NOISE even it was a night because hotel is situated at main street (cars, trucs, emergency cars..etc). Very poor breakfast ( two biscuits - only sweet and sweet juice - when you couldn't eat and drink anything sweet you have to buy sth.. And possible only one, very small coffe in the morning.
A perfect little place. In a good location good restaurants nearby.
the bedside lamps were a touch on the bizarre side. They were not bright enough to give any lighting to the room but instead only enough to give things an erie red glow...
3 minutes from Metro station. Good market right on the 1st floor. Nice, clean and big room. Nice view from the balcony on wide Via Appia Nuova (good shopping street with local brands and gelateria) Fast Internet approx. 20 Mbps
windows are not noise proof and we were able to heard cars and birds sounds
Really great location - 50 meters from the metro which takes you straight into the city. Facilities were extremely clean. Wifi was really fast. Mario was very helpful.
Thin walls meant there was a bit of noise. Breakfast left something to be desired, but eating out in Rome is so easy and enjoyable.
The room was really clean and nice. The owner was lovely. The free breakfast every morning was great as it was one meal we didn't have to worry about. The supermarket on the ground floor was good. The location was good, being right next to a metro made it easy to train to all of the tourist sites.
It was very noisy. There were guests staying there that checked in at midnight one night and kept us up for a few hours after that yelling down the hallway at each other as they were all staying in different rooms. Although there is cards in our rooms saying to avoid noise etc the owner didn't tell them to be quiet. Everything else was good though so if you can sleep through noise it's a great place to stay.
Breakfast was very basic
