The staff was just excellent in every way. The accoomdation was splendid- a very neat old house.
I was there during the Alpine military reunion. Ugh. Noisy and boisterous thoughgout the night. Not good, considering my room looked out on Via Mazzini, the main street for shoomg and passeggiato. Marching bands at 2am? I don't think so. Also, keep in mind that the building is very old with extremely thick walls that don't allow great WiFi. At times I had to use it out in the hallway. A bother, since it was hot out there and I had business to conduct. The signal would often go on and out. If you need reliable WiFi, get as TIM key.
Close to Arena for the Opera, walking distance to all sightseeing and restaurants, Could not be better. Very friendly and extremely helpful. Especially Jean-Franco & colleagues. Really want to go back there.
Fabulous room - great size and very close to Piazza Bra. great shower room with powerful shower and soft towels. good selection at breakfast and Nicoletta was lovely. Also we were welcomed with a drink on arrival. Would go back again.
Wifi signal was poor.
A charming B&B a minute's walk from the arena. The owners are friendly and helpful and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. (There is also a very fine restaurant, I 4 Cuochi, right opposite the B&B.) The building has a lift starting at the mezzanine floor. Our room was spacious and clean, plentiful hot water and a nice bathroom. We will definitely return to stay there for the opera next summer.
Superb location just around the corner from the Opera. Extremely helpful owner for whom nothing was too much - giving good advice on restaurants and organising taxis
The flights of stairs after a long day walking around the city
Our gorgeous room, fab breakfasts and location wonderful
The lift that kept breaking down
The B&B is located in the very heart of Verona, just 2 mins walk from Arena di Verona and the main shopping area. The rooms are very spacious, clean and stylishly decorated. The breakfast is OK - just a standard Italian one: jogurtThe B&B is family owned and from your first contact with the owners (very nice ladies Stefania and Nicoletta) you could feel that they really care about the comfort of their guests. I had a certain problem with the air con in my room, and it was fixed immediately. There is no reception in this B&B, so advise the owners about your arrival in advance - to ensure somebody will let you into the building and you don't have to wait at the door. My flight was delayed and Stefania called me on the mobile to ask about the arrival time. I would definitely recommend this lovely place.
Just one thing - WiFi is only available in the breakfast area, and as it is mentioned on the web-site, in some rooms. I didn't have it in my room, and though it was not very convenient, but definitely not a problem. The rest was just perfect.
We return in this place already for third time. Welcoming owners, great place, beautiful rooms.
Functional, clean and convenient for the opera. Lovely, helpful staff.
We thought we had booked a hotel - maybe this was our mistake or maybe Booking.com list it as a hotel. Unstaffed in the evening.
Although it was a short stay for 1 night, however it was worth every minute. The location is prime and next door to the arena, piazzas, and most importantly Juliet :) The apartment was sensational and romantic, with top furniture, cleanliness, ambiance, and texture. We would love to visit Verona again and stay at the same place for more than just a night. We loved it so much. Thank you for everything Nicoletta :)
Good sized room in a historic building . Really central- very near the arena and shopping. Staff very helpful. Very quiet. Good value.
No view as no windows except skylight. Kitchenette in room but no facilities to make hot drinks and eating food in the room was prohibited. Lift very slow and often didn't work. Shower was not hot enough and water pressure was poor.
It is the right place in the center of Verona!
There is no Wi- FI in rooms
Location & location.
A B&B lives from the person that runs it. Unfortunately we heard from the lady only excuses. No Wifi in the room, the fridge in the room was on but did not cool, the AC in the room did not work (room temperature 28C). We had to call the lady about these issues since nobody was around, but she just said it is an old house.... and did nothing about it. Breakfast was very simple ( no fresh bread, toast bread and no toaster, dry old cake in crumbs.) Sorry, that is not a way to run a B&B.
air condition remote control
location and friendly welcome
The location and the rooms were magnificent. You are right in the hub of things close to all of the sites and the resteraunts
Breakfast could have been a little more substantial. No coffee making facilities in the room. Lift a little temperamental
the location is fantastic
It's an old house but did not keep its original style when refurbished, too bad for old stones lovers..
Great location close to the Arena shops and restaurants. Spacious well designed room and roomy bathroom. Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.
The elevator was a little idiosyncratic!
Easy to find in city center. Very spacious room, clean and well equipped. Nice little breakfast buffet.
Location--close the the Arena was convenient.
Loud music from the Arena kept me awake. Breakfast was served after 8 PM...I had to leave for the airport at 7:30. This was absurd! Also, the door to the building was locked from the inside so I had to leave the key there and felt uncomfortable doing so. The proprietor spoke little English so I was never sure about what I was supposed to do.
Perfect location, lovely owner. Very comfortable and clean room.
Fantastic location, beautiful accomodations, spacious room. Breakfast included in rate. Would definitely stay again!
The air conditioner in our room was broken, we were told it would be fixed but it never was. We tried sleeping with the windows open but the noise from the street below and the trash truck at all hours of the night was so loud that we did not get a good nights sleep during our 5 night stay there. One of the owners told us that they would give us one night free because of the circumstances. Upon returning home I checked and there wasn't a credit on my cc so I emailed the owners and they denied having said this. I'm very disappointed that they didn't honor their word.
Location is fantastic. 50m from the center of the city. Clean rooms.
15:00-18:00pm (3 hours only)check in for 150,00€ I think is not so profesional. Simple breakfast. Very slow elevator, you need to have your finger in the button always. Not so quiet. The truck that collect the rubbish made noise each morning at 06:00, (noise of glass bottle that was breaking). IMPRORTANT: Difficult to find a taxi at 6:00am. The lady in radio taxi station doesn't speak english. We walked on foot until Verona Porta Nuova Train Station.
