No bad experiences.
The addition of a surge strip with multiple electrical receptacles would be nice to charge several mobile devices in a single location within the room.
Just to provide some context - I am a hobbyist photographer. It is important for me to have a basic room that is safe, secure, reasonably priced, and offers easy access to the points of interest. I must be able to come and go as I please. Luxury is nice but not a necessity for me - I would not pay extra for that.
This is my second time for both my visiting Pienza and staying here. The property is managed by a kind, soft-spoken gentleman who made the stay a pleasant one. I especially like the location - it's on the perimeter road, just outside of the main city walls, which was perfect for me because it offered easy access to a view of the valley for my sunrise photography.
The room (#6) was spacious, neat, and cosy. The colour scheme (grey, white, and light green) added a relaxing feel to the bedroom and (dedicated) bathroom.
Typical Italian breakfast of pastries, coffee/tea, juice, milk, sliced meats, and fruit for six euros. It was sufficient for my needs.
The wireless Internet was very fast. I'm not accustomed to a good Internet connection when travelling so this was highly appreciated. I was able to update my MacBook and iPhone operating systems easily.
The accommodations were so comfortable that it enhanced my overall Pienza experience.
