Very nice room piemont style furnitured in a restored old villa with splendid lake view. People are warm hearted and kind. Breakfast is buffet and nice on veranda if sunny also with italian housemade cake. Don`t miss Lousia´s orange jam

The hotel has no card reader to pay by EC or Credit card. Be prepared to have enough cash with you.

We stayed here for 3 nights in late October. This small property (with only 3-4 rooms in total) is located on the hills overlooking Lake Maggiore (maybe 800m up from the lake). It offers a beautiful view of the lake and each of the rooms has a large (long & narrow) balcony in which to sit and drink wine. It is approximately 5 minutes to town (Cannero) by car and a car is definitely needed if you are staying here (as the hill is somewhat steep and windy). The rooms are really clean, and are quite spacious as they include not only a separate bedroom & bath, but also a living room with a small kitchen table and refrigerator. This extra room opens up to the balcony and this b&b really feels more like home than just a regular hotel room. The owner Luisia speaks 3 languages (Italian, German, and French). She doesn't speak much English but did call her secretary several times on the phone to answer any questions we had (which was really helpful). Luisia really went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of. Breakfast in the morning was set in a beautiful room and offerred a selection of juices, breads, meats, cheeses, fruits. There was only 1 other couple staying at the time, so you pretty much had breakfast to yourself (which made it seems all the more impressive that all this had been laid out for you). I would definitely come back to this b&b again, and may even try during the summer months (when the town of Cannero is really alive).

Nothing. If you want to stay along the water and be able to step outside and be right in town, then this is not the place for you. But if you looking for a great view, plenty of space, and a little bit quieter stay - then I would recommend this b&b.

Fantastic location, wonderful views and surroundings. Clean and nice.

Don't ever use decorating architects! They are bound to destroy everything they touch, as they have done with this beautiful house. Horrifying ugly decoration! And DO NOT use ''smelling devices'' in hotel rooms!!!!

Very good, little hotel and perfect situated a bit above the lake with nice view from all rooms. Clean, huge and well decorated apartments. Good breakfast with homemade jam. Very likable and helpful owners!

    Nice location, big rooms.

No elevator. Climbing to the mansard with a luggage was not a fun.

The Mansarda suite was in fact an apartment with amazing view over lake. It is quiet yet within easy reach of town. Relaxed and easy staying with most helpful owners. Thoroughly recommended.

Clean and well presented B&B. The owner who doesn't speak English was still trying to be friendly and helpful, she got her secretary to come and translate for her to tell us what to do and where to go locally.

This B&B is not suitable for anyone with a disability.Parking is about 100 yds away. All the rooms involve climbing stairs and to get to the breakfast area the steps down to the terrace are uneven cobbles.
