The only thing for us was that there was very loud music being played in to the early hours from a few roads away on one night (some sort if event), but we stayed on a huge holiday so this may be because of that and didn't detract hugely from our stay. The location was great for us as we enjoy walking but it is a good 20 minute walk to the excavations, for those who don't like walking this may be an issue.
The room was lovely with breathtaking views of the mountains and orange grove from our room. The room was very spacious and airy and was kept very clean throughout our stay. We loved the fact that it was not in the middle of town as it was quieter than other parts of the city. Breakfast was continental style with fresh juice, cakes, cereal, eggs, fruit and breads. The train station is only a ten minutes walk, so very convenient, and (Beware you must go to Pompeii station and not Pompei scavi as we had to take a 15 euro taxi across town) although the owners said they could have picked us up if we had called which was nice of them.
