B&B Certe Notti  

Our room smelled fresh and inviting the minute we opened the door. We loved the balcony with view of the orange trees. Best breakfast we had in Italy! Wonderful, friendly and helpful hostess.

The owners couldn't do enough for us, picking us up at the station and dropping us off again at the end of our stay. The location is perfect for exploring the excavations of Pompei and the accomodation itself is spotless, spacious and very comfortable.

This place was a clean lovely haven in a busy area of Pompei, close to a few restaurants, almost next door to a small supermarket. Breakfast was wonderful, included boiled eggs, ham, cheese, croissant, cereal, fruit, and tea and coffee served by friendly and helpful hosts. Definitely would stay again if in Pompei again!

Driving around Pompei, but this was nothing compared to driving around Naples - don't do it!!

very helpful owners, very clean, lovely family room, good breakfast, even offered to collect/take to the train station for nothing. Gave us very good advice and recommended brilliant places to eat! All in all a very enjoyable stay.

We loved our stay at Certe Notti. Excellent location for Pompeii, Sorrento, Naples and more. The owners were so helpful with maps, books and advice. They even drove us to the station at the end of our stay.

This is a wonderful hotel. We were traveling as friends, and wanted a twin room. When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely dog, and friendly owners. We had a large suit with two bedrooms (each with a queen+ bed), and a spotless new bathroom. The views from the back room were quiet beautiful. The breakfast was large and fresh. Its a 20-30 minute walk to the Pompeii site, but the route goes past the impressive cathedral, which is sadly overlooked by most non-Italian tourist. Don't miss the lift to the top of the bell tower, well worth the 2 euro cost for 360 degrees views over all of Pompeii. Also the owners had great recommendations about where to eat and shop.

The shower/bath is handheld, which may be a problem if you as uncoordinated as me.

It was clean, good layout with bedroom, lounge and bathroom, small private balcony and a friendly breakfast room. The recommended restaurants (3) were superb. We were able to walk to the ruins of Pompeii with very pleasant bars and ice cream bars on the way.

Initially we thought it was in the rough part of town, but that did not affect our stay. The property itself contradicted the surrounding buildings with a private and secluded atmosphere.

Very friendly welcome and charming owners. Beautiful and very quiet room with terrace overlooking the back garden- actually it was a whole suite with spacious sitting room, lovely bathroom and separate bedroom.Nice breakfast. Excellent wifi. Safe (though not very big) parking inside the property's heavy metal gates.

The only negative thing is the location; Via Nolano is 10-15 linutes walk from the Basilica, and about 20 minutes from the nearest entry to the ruins. The B&B building is quite hard to find and is a fairly long way down Via Nolano. You wouldn't want to walk down the road alone at night! And even during the day I felt I should hurry!

Very pleasant and helpful hosts with lots of practical information on the sights, restaurants, etc. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent and for a reasonable extra charge, great lunches were prepared for us to take along on our day trips which was very convenient. On the evening of our last day, Antonio and Ione brought our luggage to meet us at the exit of the excavations in order to take us to the train station. Due to an uncharacteristic thunderstorm and downpour, traffic was a nightmare and they had to be on the road for an hour altogether. They were still happy to help us out. We would definitely stay there again.

Charming bed & breakfast situated 15 minutes walk from the Pompei archeological site. The owners are really nice and helpful. The room was large and nicely decorated. Free parking in a secure place was greatly appreciated.

Very friendly owners. Clean and very nice rooms. Good breakfast, excellent croissants. Very close to the excavations of Pompeji.

The B&B is immaculate. Extreemly clean, comfortable beds, modern furniture. Everything was perfect except that the shower head is low so you have to hold it while showering. A bit inconvenient. The people who own it are friendly and courteous. They will pick you up from the station but be aware that the one they pick you up from is on a second less frequent train line.

If you are staying here to see the ruins at Pompeii be very aware that it is a good 2km from the main entrance. There is a second entrance about 1km away at the entrance where the amphitheater is however there are no audio guides at this gate nor people who can guide you. Also. It is a good 1/2 km into the square where the church is along a road that feels a bit unsafe. Ok if you have a car but for walking not so nice.

We used Certe Notti as our base to explore the Pompeii ruins. Certe Notti was a delight in every way. I have travelled the globe, and have never met such generous, warm, hosts as those at Certe Notti. They welcomed us with beer and homemade treats; the breakfast the next day was extraordinary, they helped us with our complex travel plans, and the rooms were WONDERFUL. Pristine, beautiful, wonderful.

Friendly owners and very nice welcome on arrival. Good service. Room was clean and spacious enough for our one night brief stay. Location was ok bout 15 min walk to pompeii ruins not really far. Plenty of eating places bout 5 to 10 mins walk into town. Fantastic area and church. We would recommend highly. We had good hosts who gave us good directions to various restaurants etc. nice small town. Pompeii site is excellent and you need at least 2 hrs to look at the whole site. Very nice b& b with private secure parking. Well done. Certe notti x

The first night the air conditioner did not function.

The location was great and our hosts wonderful. Just a few minutes walk from the Pompeii ruins and the train station. (Maybe 15 minutes walk to the train station.) The room was clean and quiet with a view over a small orange orchard and the hospitality was just great. The hosts of Certe Notti were warm, knowledgeable and very helpful. Gave us great advice on how to get everywhere and in what order to do things. We only had a day and a half to see Pompeii, Herculeum and to climb up Vesuvius. We got it all done in our short stay thanks to advice (and a ride on the last day!) from our hosts. Really nice, homey b&b -- great location, good, substantial breakfast and very accommodating hosts.

Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable and had a lounge area and decent size bathroom. It was also very clean and neat and the linen was fresh and crisp! The owner and his wife are extremely helpful and informative and assisted with suggesting places where to dine and info on the Pompei site which was close by. We were given a great continental breakfast and all in all our stay was an extremely pleasant experience. The bonus as well was that there was a secure parking for our vehicle. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Pompei and we would most certainly stay there again.

There is nothing we did not like about this B&B.

We spent 3 nights in Pompei before going on for a week in Rome. Antonio and his wife Yone were unbelievably generous, fun, attentive, and helpful. Antonio picked us up and delivered us to the train station. They were both great for telling us places to go and giving directions. The room was wonderful. We'd asked for twin beds (snoring issue) and got 2 rooms. Very modern, tasteful, and clean. The breakfast was huge and included good pastries, yogurts, fruit, juices, and eggs and ham, salami, etc. Unlimited good coffee and cappucinos. We left feeling like we had made 2 new friends, which indeed we have.

We really enjoyed our stay at Certe Notte. Anthony and Ione, the owners are excellent hosts and made us very welcome. The accommodation is clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable. There is lots of choice with the buffet breakfast. All fresh and ample to keep you going all morning. The location is great. Withing walking distance of the ruins, shops, restaurants and railway station. We absolutely loved Romeo, the Golden retriever dog. He was always there to welcome us back at the end of the day. I would recommend Certe Notti and hope to return some time for another visit. Thank you Anthony and Ione,
