Our favourite way into Mesagne’s old town, yet another destination that punches above its weight. Hurry through the historic gate into the old town. It feels bigger on the inside, no doubt due to the number of decent bars and restaurants as you stroll around.

The old town is attractive with many restaurants and bars that become alive after 7pm. Make sure you visit the ice cream shop in the old town near the big church where there are almost daily weddings and musicians perform on the steps in the evening.

Lovely town with great vibe in the evening.
Lovely town with great vibe in the evening. There are loads of restaurants and all were buzzing with happy eaters. The winding streets of the old town led to little squares with restaurants, bars, churches and live music. Watch out though the town is an absolute ghost town between 2:30-7pm - we struggled to find anything open at all and had to share a couple of dried up sandwiches from a coffee bar between 4 of us!

Mesagne is a beautiful little town near Brindisi.
Mesagne is a beautiful little town near Brindisi. It can be a perfect place to stay if you’d lile to visit the region.
Mesagne comes to life after 8 pm, the streets and the restaurants fill with people. (Booking a table in advance is advisable.) However during siesta the town is empty, so don’t be disturbed by that.
The town has not been discovered by mass tourism yet, so it’s a real Italian treasure.
Highly recommended!
The owner and host, Roberta, was exceptional in her concern for our comfort. She answered question with attention and humor. The homemade cakes and omelettes were especially delicious. For a very reasonable fee, Roberta even did our accumulated laundry. (You can also use a nearby laundromat.)
I slept in the loft upstairs while my friend slept downstairs. The cost for what was essentially two bedrooms made this a great value.
The location right outside the walls of Mesagne is outstanding. Walking to bars and restaurants in town was easy.
We stayed a Week in Tobacco Suite and it was a delight. The Rooms were very clean and spacious. The Staffs friendliness was remarkable: From having good recommendations for Dinner to helping us get a Taylor for a last minute change before the wedding we were attending. The Breakfast Times are a little longer (10:30) then in other Hotels which makes you enjoy your vacation a little more! The Pool Area is very clean & is a good alternative since the Beach is at 20-35min distance. All in one very happy with our Stay.
Had a great one night stay here in Mesagne. All, as described by other travellers. I especially was grateful for the help needed, when required for example, lending of a mobile phone charger (when mine stopped working), directions to where I could buy one (5 minutes from the B&B), Also, the moving forward of my booking by a few days when I couldn't make the check in due to bad transport connections from Alberabello instead of having to cancel the booking. Very grateful for that. Hope to visit again in the future!
Size of the room for 3 persons, bathroom size and bed size. Use of the common balcony to dry out our clothes. Nice owners and they gave us clear instructions how to use their facilities. There was a working refrigerator that helped us to store our drinks and allowed us to bring our frozen drinks while roaming around. The center of the town was VERY CLOSE to the hotel, you just need to walk less than 1 min and you are there. Parking was close to the front of the hotel but you need to pay.
Room was spacious enough. Lighting was very good, with spot-lights all around, including the bathroom. Seems that room has been recently refurbished, and in fact everything is new, and bed was very comfortable. Overall Cleanliness was exceptional and maid came daily to make-up the room! The area is very nice and safe, in the old city/area of Mesagne. Bars and restaurants are in every corner, and so many choices where to eat, have a coffee or a drink, and of course a croissant.
Lovely apartment, very centrally located (a short walk from historic town center of Mesagne where many nice bars and reataurants can be found). Free public parking spaces are available on the streets around the apartment. Owner was very friendly and took care for effective check in and check out.
Apartment is very nicely decorated and has all the equipment for a comfortable stay (including washing machine). Highly recommended!
We liked everything about the hospitality of Villa Vittoria! The host, Nico, was extremely professional and friendly, the room was equipped with all amenities, and had a luxurious presentation. The smell of clean and wellness was everywhere. We loved the breakfast, personally prepared by our host.We have been very lucky to visit the celebrations of St. Carmine in Mesagne, absolutely wonderful!
The location is 2 minutes of walking from the old city. The room is very clean, equipped with all you need for a comfort stay and the size is big. The breakfast is very good. The staff and the hotel owner supported us very much and required our appreciation. Free street car parking is available at the hotel side door. There is an outdoor nice pool, but we did not use it due to the weather
The Palazzo Corcioli is in a very historic center of Mesagne so living there you can feel the spirit of the town. The property was clean, well accommodated, there were AC, toiletries, fridge and water in it.
We are thankful for Ivan & Grazia for their hospitality and generosity. They will make you feel like living in an Italian family. Grazie mille!
Charming BnB in a historic family Palazzo in the center of Mesagne. Perfectly modernized with elegant furniture and finishes. The room was quiet and every detail was thoughtfully supplied. Breakfast was typical Italian breakfast. Vincenzo the owner was a friendly and attentive host. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
Very, very friendly and helpful owner. Easy to reach and find. Parking in the garden behind a gate. The apartment is comfortable, clean and spacious with fridge and air-condition. Plenty of restaurants in the cosy Mesagne city center.
Quite near Brindisi airport.
We had a really good evening/night there!

Spacious apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was incredibly clean and well appointed. Mesagne is a great place to visit with a beautiful historic centre about a 20 minute walk away.
La Pecora Nera was a great choice for breakfast. A beautiful walk thru Centro Storico and greeted by professional and friendly staff. The location of the B&B was perfect for us!
