Contrary to the claim of the owner, there is no air conditioning. It was very hot when we were there and even with a fan provided by Fabio, the room was too warm all night.
It was a three-staircase walk to and from the room, not the one flight of stairs claimed when I booked.
Despite booking a superior room, on our first night we had to stay in a postage-stamp sized room because of a mixup which the owner blamed on Booking.com. I suspect it was not their fault. We were moved to our reserved room the following morning.
The breakfast, served at a nearby restaurant, is poor: a croissant, orange juice and coffee or tea. You have to pay for anything else.
Fabio was great. Recommending restaurants and sights, making reservations, having our laundry done by a local woman at a very good rate, getting us a table with a sea view at a restaurant on our last night.
