Owner Lavinia was an excellent host. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She was very helpful with travel tips, restaurant recommendations and general information on Rome and it's surrounds. A very personable host.
Huge room (Livia), great bed and bedding, quiet, nice breakfast area. Spotless and bright. Lavinia was beyond helpful in giving us superb restaurant recommendations throughout the city. She was also tireless helping some other folks who had never visited Rome before. She's fluent in English and generally delightful to be around. She should be a great success!
The shower, in a lovely bathroom, really needed more water pressure for those of us with long hair. Nothing Lavinia could do about that, of course.
The service was excellent..
It is near to the bus station but not to the metro station..
June 2014 It is located near the center of Rome (30 minutes walking). Very clean rooms include air conditioning, a safe, private toilet and shower. The apartment is located in a prestigious area of Rome and very quiet. Close to various transport vessels. Many thanks to Lavinia, owner of B&B Five, quiet us throughout the trip. Michael & Biana. Staff very helpful and nice
Spacious, newly designed rooms. Best value for money.
Only sweet breakfast.
Lavinia was great and helpful, the room (Julia) big and very comfortable; the B&B is in a quiet area - AMAZINGLY CLEAN -Definitely going back La proprietaria gentilissima - stanze grandi e ultracomode - zona tranquilla - PULITISSIMO!!! Ci tornerò di sicuro
nothing (but it may be useful to mention that you'll have to do a flight of stairs to get there, just in case you had problems walking, otherwise it's nothing) niente (ma forse bisognerebbe specificare che ci sono una ventina gradini da fare, solo in caso uno abbia problemi motori, altrimenti sono uno scherzo)
The room was very big, clean and everything looked new. The location is quiet, so I had a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly.
It's a rather strange place, in the sense that nobody lives there - the staff comes in to receive you and make breakfast. Since there were no guests in the other rooms, it felt rather lonely and very unpersonal. The breakfast was not very special - all prepacked biscuits and cakes, nothing fresh, but this is common in Italian hotels.
Lavinia was very helpfull before and during the our stay. She helped in organising tickets and transport.
