Near to Vatican. Helpful staff.
The breakfast was very "light"
They wanted to charge us €10 per night for air conditioning which I thought was ridiculous!!
Room was very cheap for Rome. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Bit to far away - on the far side of the Vatican. Quite a long walk (30 minutes) just to get to the front of St Peters.
Cleanliness of room and bathroom. Spacious room. good value for money.
Breakfast - needs improving. No locker facilities to leave bags and collect later if flight is after checking out time etc
Good location for Vatican (in walking distance) and close to Cipro station
Close to the metro and to bus hub connection. People easy going Flexible for accommodate your needs
A bit noisy. Not really comfy bed
Easy to get to from Rome termini. Room was spacious and bathroom was clean.
Got back after a day of site seeing to find wet sheets from another room hanging over our bed posts. The man running the show had let himself in and hung them up was not very impressed by this as he did not seem fazed at all when we asked him to move them.
I trully recomend that hotel, we spent 4 days with 3 nights there, the location of the hotel allow you to move easily by Rome and there are some restaurants and markets near to. The hotel you will feel like stay at your home, is like an apartment where they have build up some rooms. The staff is really friendly starting by Agusto the man who stay there and the manager Chiara, who will bring you every day homemade cakes. Really clean. Recomended for people who wants to visit the city and stay in a good area, from the room I could see and listen Plz. Sant Pedro.
The place need maintenancesm esp the bathroom which is too old, Bed unfomfy, Wifi doesnt work properly on & off
Location: close to the Vatican Museum, and A metro line. Price.
No reception. Need to phone and to wait for owner to open B&B. Room and bathroom are in bad condition.
The place is very comfortable
Big spacious room with air conditioning.
There was no hot water for showering in the evening.
Location isn't bad for Vatican.
1. Surprised to be told there would be a 3% surcharge to pay with credit card. No previous warning. 2. Sheets on sofa were soiled and this was justified by attendant rather than fixed. 3. Told a/c and tv would normally be extra charge but he would let it go this time. 4. Breakfast is lowest quality imaginable. 5. Towels are crude -- same texture as a rug.
Near to the centre and Vatican, metrostation near the B&B; clean enough :), didn't see any cockroaches as previous reviews say; the housekeeper was polite and nice (though didn't seem very friendly); we could use the microwave all the time and also make tea, coffee or cocoa. Ok price, altogether OK B&B.
At first we were also given the room with a window to a narrow courtyard inside the building - no air, very small room (just fit the bed), no airconditioning (no remote). But as written in the introduction of the B&B, we asked for a room with a street view or a balcony and got it the next day. Room was 3 times bigger, lots of air, quite big TV, even got the airconditioning remote. So - need to ASK for the conditions promised to you. The view "overlooking the basilica of The Sistine Chapel" was actually a regular streetview with a hint of the basilica rising over the trees rather far away :) Quite noisy street, so need earplugs if you value your peace and quiet turing sleeping time.
