Our apartment did not have the promised washing machine, large double bed (it was a small one which sagged in the middle), city views or soundproofing. It was also somewhat "vibrant" in its bright purple toned bedroom and fire-engine red accented living area, which we found a little disconcerting. It is in a narrow street shared with roosting pigeons which tend to make the outside somewhat messy and coo throughout the night.
The website confirms that there are 42 steps and no air conditioning (we experienced street noise, flies and mosquitoes from leaving windows open) and that the parking (in an underground car park) is a significant walk from the apartment - we realised that this is not particularly convenient during hot, cold or rainy conditions.
We were greeted by a lady who was helpful but spoke no English, which made communication difficult.
Overall we were a little disappointed with the apartment, but it was one of the cheaper options on our trip.
We would recommend a day visit to Arezzo, rather than staying there for an extended period.
The B&B (a one bedroom apartment with breakfast supplies) was well placed to explore historic Arezzo - close to all the historic sights. It was spacious and the provisions for breakfast were generous - lots of pre-packaged breads, ham, sausage, cheese, yoghurt, some fruit and a bottle of wine.
The apartment was clean and the towels were soft and replaced midweek. The wi-fi turned out to be supplied via a portable modem - worked fine, as long as it was plugged into a working power socket.
