My stay in Marcantonio bnb was very pleasant. The room and the bathroom were super clean. The bed was very comfortable with very clean linen. A clean linen is very important to me when I stay in a B&B and here I felt like home. The breakfast is served in a nearby bar and I should admit that I enjoyed it a lot. The owner is an absolutely cool guy. He provided me with lots of helpful city maps and pamphlets. He speaks English and I didn't have any problem communicating with him. I highly recommend staying in this beautiful B&B.
Everything it provided it did well; the wifi was excellent, the bed was the size it advertised to be and the room was very clean. Any question or issue we had was promptly addressed and the location was superb. Simple, comfortable and very well priced. I would definitely stay at B&B Marcantonio again.
There was no hot water for a small period of time but this was fixed within a matter of a few hours while we were out sightseeing.
The room is convenient to train station and metro. It is simple but it suited our needs. We were not looking for anything fancy with bells and whistles - just a quiet, clean space for sleeping.
The water temperature in the shower was fickle and the bedroom curtains could have been thicker for more privacy.
Location (close to public transportation)
Air conditioning was not working. No help desk (owner was never at the hotel - it was necessary to call him for anything) Issues with the flush toilet No elevator
Mr. Raffaele was friendly and helpful. He highlighted scenic spots that we should visit and tried to respond to our inquiries quickly. Wifi connection was strong. The neighborhood was relatively safe in spite of its proximity to the central station.
Our room is smaller than what is shown in the booking.com when we placed the booking. The bed slumped a bit (too soft). Visitors need to pay attention to the pre-defined check-in and check-out time slot.
convenient location, close to Termine, also close to a supermarket which you can buy water, fruits, etc.
the water heater was in our room, so if some other guests are very late in evening time or very early in morning time to take a shower, the noise from the water heater may very annoying
Lovely hospitable owner; room was clean and adequate; a very easy walk to bus and train terminal; location quiet considering it's so close to the station. Owner kindly picked us up when we had gone to a wrong, similarly-named location. Would stay again.
Unfortunately owner forgot to leave breakfast vouchers (unless it was the receipt) or point out where the cafe was, and in the morning couldn't be contacted. We tried to find it but had to go without.
Location is good.
Personal are not kindy. Not helpfully . We went to early for take off the our bagaje but there is nobody in hostel. We called but they said to us check in time. We have to wait check in
Location was excellent and we felt secure.
We were unable to contact the owner to let him know that we were running late due to train delay and because of this he was rather rude to us which made us feel uneasy from the start. It is not our problem that there is no reception. Also no obvious signs for the place and we followed the map off the site and it was wrong. Every time the toilet was flushed the system overflowed and has obviously been doing this a while due to mould on the ceiling. We were unable to complain about this as we didn't see the owner again. No air con just a noisy fan. No safe. No English channels. Green room felt very claustrophobic. Very expensive for how basic it is.
location-perfect staff-Raffaele was very helpful comfort value for money
Nice lovely room, nice kitchen, very good wifi, bodget price.
When we arrived, the hotel staff or maybe boss I don't know was waiting in front of the door to drive us to another his B&B as the room has occupied in this one alreay. Then we arrived the another B&B which is also nice and lovely but a 15 mins more far from the train station, that's unexpect but all fine. The next day he asked me how's my sleep, then I honesty(and in a kind and polit way) to say that it's so so, cuz the street is very noisy in day and night, if I close the window, the aircon/fan(I don't know what the machine it is) is very noisy too. He said we are in the center so if you close the window to use the air machine, it's ok. I said ok maybe I set up wrong in the air machine then cause it so noisy. But acturlly I wasn't wrong with the machine and it is really loud. So he was angry during that time, after I said the toilet ground is very easy to get all wet after shower , he got mad, he said I only have things to complain, nothing is good. Then I said oh don't worry, the other things are all perfect to try to calm the situation...I just want to tell you the problem then maybe you can improve. You don't have to behave and answer in that way. That‘s kind of rude to me.
We are a family of 4 & selected this place as it is close to the Roma Termini & we had an early morning flight out the next day. Room was clean & WIFI an added bonus - host was helpful. Would stay there again
The location was suitable for our purpose; close to Roma Termini and other necessary amenities. The room was superb. The cost was very very good.
I liked that the owner could speak and understand english, everything has happened as we agreed before. This B&B has a perfect location, it's only 2-3 minutes from Termini by walk.
I liked the location of the apartment, close enough to the sights yet far enough way to feel as though you were a local staying amongst friends. The room was large and very comfortable with all the ammenities you need for a very comfortable stay. Lots of travel information available and Rafaelle was very helpful and a gratious host. Great local restaurants on the same road to chose from and a good choice of options for getting around the city as not for from the main train station and local metro's. Overall a great little set of apartments at a good price in a great city.
Liked everything but if I had to be picky would have liked a kettle in the room to make tea or coffee but this isn't unusual in Italy not to have a kettle, just something I would have perosnally liked but this is a very small thing and would stay here again in a heartbeat!
great location, big and clean room. in rome, it is not easy to find a clean and new average price hotel.
Enjoyed every minute at b&b marcantonio, excellent location, very close to termini, quiet area. Stayed here for 2 nights, booked as a surprise for our mums 60th birthday, Raffaele the owner left a bouquet of flowers on the bed when we arrived as a birthday gesture, which was lovely. Room was clean and perfect for what we wanted. Will definately be returning :) was very handy having wifi in the rooms too :)
It is near Roma Termini.
There is no elevator. The room is cleaned and the beddings are changed every 3 days only.
The location was good. It was close to Termini Station. We had a good time. Marc was a very helpful person.
Some bathroom tools like the toilet seat and the sink should be repaired or changed.
I really enjoyed staying there even though it was just one night. It's close to the Temini and also the metro. Plus it's in a really cool area to explore of the beaten path. I really liked that it was clean and I really enjoyed the artist work and the decor of the place. It was very inviting.
They didn't have coffee on the premises so you have to go across the way to a piazza to get a coffee and baked good. They hand you a card (voucher like) that you can exchange for that but when I got there they said that I had to pay for it. It was inconvient to get up and get coffee and then it didn't happen. There isn't anyone there on the premises to ask about that once you are there. It would have been nice if the coffee was there when you first get up.
Brilliant location - felt really safe. Big spacious room with a super hot shower. The local cafe was fantastic for coffee and breakfast. Loads on information brocures and the manager is very accomodating/full of knowledge on what to see and when.
Noise. The neighbours upstairs would start stomping around/vaccuming at 7-8am making it impossible to sleep in. However, who wants to be sleeping in when you have Rome to explore?!
Nice, clean and quiet place...
Clean, quiet, very good location - close to the Termini station (3-5 minutes walk). Excellent connections. Very friendly manager, gave us many useful tips. He's got lots of maps and brochures at the entrance, which is really nice. The bedroom was nice and clean, we had a kitchenette (the black room) where we prepared some snacks. Breakfast is served in a coffe nearby - 2 pastries and coffee, very tasty. We have had the pleasure of staying here and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.
