Excellent family run hotel .Staff are delightful, so gentle and helpful. Local people who live in the neighbourhood are really friendly and also contribute to making your stay easy and comfortable. It's a great place to relax in after the hustle and bustle of Venice. Treviso is a gem with good shopping and bars and restaurants . My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon.

This is an excellent hotel for a stay in Treviso, either short or long. It is located at a distance near to the city center, in a quiet area. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean, and the hotel is comfortable and modern. The breakfast is enough to start your day, great coffee and the terrace is just perfect to drink your coffee in the morning. I would stay there again, and I highly recommend it.

Hotel is very small, but it has everything you need, Staff is very friendly and polite, rooms are very clean and modern. It is rated as 2 stars, but is more comfortable than many 4 stars hotels we used. Hotel is easy to reach by bus (21, 6 or 9 - hotel reception will provide you the map) from treviso railway station, or for around 12 euros by taxi. (Busses are not working later than 20:00). The hotel is located on a private road in a very quiet area. From the railway station you can take a train to Venice St. Lucia for 5.70 euros (for 2 people) nearly every 30min. We were very happy with our small holliday at this hotel and we want to thank to the staff for their kindness.

Amazing bargin! Paolo was fantastic from the beginning...he even loaned us £2 for the cab (we didn't have enough money). The bus stop is super close. Easy to get to the train station, Venice and back using the map and information from Paolo. Cute town with helpful people. A+++ all the way around. Definitely suggest staying here and away from the hustle of Venice.

We loved this family owned hotel, staff was very nice and friendly, helpful as well, gave us all directions how to reach Venice and Treviso City Center. It was perfect value for money. Breakfast was amazing and home made cakes were so yami. Room was simple and clean at the same time very comfortable. Only 5 minutes away from Treviso Airport. Wouldn't find a better choice for a short city break stay. Also Hotel staff speaks perfect english.

We liked the hotel, it is in a quiet outskirt of Treviso. You need to use a bus to get to the center which is close by. They have a small bar where you can eat your take-away pizza (the pizza is great!). The owners are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, the room was smart and comfortable. The only small complaint we had was the bathroom was not cleaned very well. Other than this, we had a short, very enjoyable stay.

The family running the hotel was delightful. We had an early morning flight and they prepared breakfast an hour earlier to accomodate us! They made fresh espresso drinks, and nice meats, cheeses, and other choices. The room was clean and very nice. It was convenient to the airport.

Very good hotel. I stayed there for two nights in March-2012. The facilities are good, breakfast arrangements are decent. The Staff especially are very very helpful. Though it is a family run hotel, the maintained a very proffessional environment. There is 'Panorama' super market near by. Buses to Train station available every 15/30 mins. (If you prefer taxi, then Hotel to Airport is 17 Euro and to Station is 10 Euro). The floor is wooden (no carpet).. May be that Italian style, but I found bit cold walking inside the room without shoes.

we stayed in hotel mezzaluna in treviso, waiting for a young family to arrive from spain. we liked hotel so much we booked it for 2 nights more on their way back. everything we asked for was given to us, including a breakfast for 4 people after breakfast hours. they are serving home made cakes. we are frequent travelers all our lives and we stayed from luxorious hotels, to five stars and one star ones.in friendliness and cleanliness there are few, if any who can beat mezzaluna. we will definetely tell our friends of this small jewl and we will be back, whenever visiting venice i thinki cable tv would be great, i was taken ill and stayed in bed, felt as at home, but was missing any other tv then italian

Room was excellent, staff helpful. Hotel was immaculate, I suspect quite newly redecorated, family room large enough with good size bathroom to manage children! We were all very impressed.Quiet location, but very close to bus services to centre of Treviso. Some restaurants in local area, although the pizzeria making pizza whilst you watched and waited and then took back to hotel, very popular with family at the end of the day. Breakfast excellent. We were staying here as a budget way of seeing Venice with 2 children (9 and 13) For us, this was perfect. Using buses and trains in Italy was initially an interesting experience, but having mastered their ticketing system it was extremely easy and efficient. It added an extra dimension to travelling abroad for the children. We would definitely stay there again if travelling in the area.

I found this hotel following the positive write up received, I was NOT disappointed! This is a lovely family run hotel, the owners could not do enough to make our stay more enjoyable. It is very clean, comfortable and well run. Breakfast is in the continental format but there is plenty available, and if something runs out you only need to ask and it is replaced. There are local bars and restaurants which are within easy walking distance and the town centre (which is splendid) is about a 25 minutes stroll away. Venice is a 5 minute bus ride followed by a 35 minute train journey away (at a total coat of €8) and the buses and trains are frequent. I would definitely stay again. And if you like rugby IT IS A MUST!!! As it is so close to the stadia. I cannont fault this hotel, it suited our visit 100%! Poalo even posted my spectacles which I left behind! It is not the Ritz, but neither are the prices. The location may seem a little strange in the first instance, but then if you want to experience the culture you are in the right place. Can I find fault - No. I am convinced that anyone would enjoy this hotel, and if you don't it will not be through the lack of effort that the family put in to making this hotel the success it is and deserves.

“The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel suited us as we were able to have a large family room. Although it was a little walk away from the centre of Treviso (10/15 mins) we didn't mind as we were able to hire bikes free of charge once we were there and then went exploring. The breakfast was a generous buffet of fruits, pastries and a hot choice. We only stayed one night, but found the hotel very charming and loved the decorated Easter eggs hanging from the tree outside.” John, Lyme Regis |
