Location Building Room
Breakfast (low-quality produce) The street is really noisy: ambulances, people singing, shouting, motorcycles, shutters up and down etc. I don't understand why the staff told us to enter the city by car; I think it's much easier to park outside the walls and walk to the B&B. Finding the place by car was stressful and not necessary
Room facing inside court yard very noisy at night; too small for 2 people.
We stayed in the wonderful room on the backside with a balcony overlooking a gorgeous park like setting and the hills of Tuscany. The only downfall was that there was too much to do and eat to take much advantage of it. The B&B is in a great location. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
The wifi didn't have enough range. It worked great in the bathroom, but it was quite weak elsewhere.
Staff were helpful and friendly, excellent location, private bathroom.
Our room faced a brick wall, there was no air conditioning and the room was very hot. The mattress was poor quality and my husband and I received many bug bites of unknown origin. The breakfast buffet was poor quality and the milk in my cappuccino may have gone off. I would not recommend this hotel.
Great location and lovely room with a gorgeous view.
everything else.staff way friendlier when contacted through mail than in person. terrible breakfast
The staff was very helpfull. The apartment was very clean and the views lovely. Exellent breakfast
No complains was wonderfull to stay there
Very good location!Large, comfortable and good decorated room.Clean.Very friendly owners.Excellent breakfast.Siena!!! It is fantastic!!!
Fantastic old palazzo close to il Campo and all the action! Rustic and spotlessly clean. Sara and her team were brilliant hosts!!
No aircon yet, but they're working on it.
Good location (but then, everything in Siena seems to be within easy walking distance of everywhere else). Very friendly and helpful staff. Very spacious room with comfortable bed and clean modern bathroom. Frescoes on the bedroom ceiling! Good Italian-style breakfast. There is an excellent restaurant about 100m down the street.
Our room faced the street, so was a bit dark. It was also a bit noisy as the town came to life in the early morning: but what would one expect for a 14th century street? Entrance from the street was also a bit cavernous and dark, but authentic!
Fantastic position within the Walled City close to the Square where the Il Palio is run . Easy to access bus from Train station and Sara was extremely helpful to walk and meet me along the way to the accommodation .Recommendation to the local reastaurants were fantastic great authentic local food and reasonably priced . I would recommend this to friends to stay . Also I went on the Wine tasting tour to Chianti and San Gimignano which was excellent . Also Sara gave me the name of the local hairdresser which was great no English but a wonderful result .....thanks Sara .
At first I was a little surprised at the entrance to the accommodation but once the door opened it was fantastic. I stayed in the front room which was very noisy with Street noise however my ear plugs fixed that .
We had a beautiful large room. The cleanliness was exceptional. The location was very ideal for getting around Siena by foot. Although we had to park our car off site, we were able to find free parking not too far away. They were very helpful in telling us where. English was very good. The weather was great and we walked everywhere anyway. Too bad we were only there for one night. Our room was street side so it was noisy especially on a Saturday night. Other guests said it was quiet on their side. This place lives up to their great rating.
We couldn't get the Wi-Fi to connect b/c password wouldnt work.and we tried too late in the evening when the managers had already gone home. The next day, they went online for us to get the info we were looking for. We didn't pursue Wi-Fi cause we were only there one night.
Beautiful view out our room to the San Domenico church and countryside! Very friendly staff.
A bit of a walk from the bus station. On the plus side though, very close to all the sites.
The view from our room was stunning. Great size room. Extremely helpful staff. Breakfast was plentiful and as we had to leave early was set out for us to have at the early leaving time. Very cooperative. So much to see and do. The recommendations for eating places were perfect. Thank you so much for a perfect stay. Australian guests.
Everything within walking distance. Beautiful room. Breakfast was great. Staff was helpful.
A lot of street noise. Luckily, I brought ear plugs. Ear plugs were also provided by the staff, which was nice. Only draw back was the noise.
Amazing location, the staff is incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, the view from the room was the nicest we had in Italy.
1. Location; 2. Room was very comfortable and roomy; 3.Staff was very friendly and helpful; and 4. The view off the balcony was spectacular.
Great location close to the Campo. Huge room with lovely view. Friendly owners. Was impressed by choice at breakfast for such a small establishment and the dishes were continually replenished. This compares very favourably against another, much more expensive establishment, we used in Siena a few days previously where there wasn't one clean table to sit at and no-one was clearing. Would use Pantaneto again.
Nothing to dislike
Stunning view from balcony of room very friendly family excellent location
Great location - in the very centre of Siena, nice and friendly staff, very beautiful room with frescoes on the ceiling. Even the internet was quite fast!
Minor thing that was not a problem for us but some people may not like: our room had windows to the street and it was quite noisy in the night (but we enjoyed listening to drunken italians singing ))))
Located just around the corner from the main square, comfortable rooms with medieval interiors. Extremely helpful and friendly staff (son speaks English).
The rooms that face the street are incredibly loud (in particular the squeaky and rattly scooters that drive over the cobblestone day and night); whereas the rooms viewing from the outside walls are just paradise (quiet, friendly, sunrise at the window, birds tweeting in the morning). They should really point that out on the website and maybe sell them in two different categories.
Extremely friendly welcome & helpful advice on getting there. Fantastic room, spacious & beautifully decorated. Excellent bathroom with lots of towels & toiletries. The breakfasts were excellent. Best of both worlds, the balcony overlooked gardens & the Tuscan countryside yet you stepped out of the front door onto a buzzing street with restaurants and shops only a few minutes walk from the Campo. Also an easy walk from the bus station. A fantastic place to stay - Would like to have been there longer.
There was nothing we disliked.
The warm personal touch of a family-run enterprise
The couple running the B &B were very friendly and helpful, the contrast between the bustling street on one side of the B & B and the tranquillity of the rural setting at the back was brilliant, we woke to birdsong and a rolling Tuscan landscape each morning. Lots of variety at breakfast and plenty of it. Lovely big room with a sofa, very comfortable bed and not forgetting the fresco ceiling. Very well situated, everything in Siena was within walking distance.
