Set within a finely restored Renaissance palace, in the town-centre of Cortona, the B&B offers you the chance to spend a restful holiday, immersed in a world of art and culture.

The complex consists of 5 double-bedrooms, spread over three floors, each having private independent entrance. Each room has been named according to the colour in which its walls are painted, enhancing thus the charm and authenticity of the exposed beams and old Tuscan red-brick roof.

Located in the historical centre of Cortona, near the central Piazza della Repubblica, both the town’s main museums and sights can be easily visited on foot. Staying in Cortona also allows easy access to all of Tuscany’s and Umbria’s main historic-artistic resorts, such as: Montalcino; Siena; Montepulciano; Florence; Assisi; Perugia; Gubbio; and many more.

Hotel information

The B&B Petrella's surroundings and services are better suited to a group of adults rather than for a family, although a few hundred metres away, immersed in the city’s centuries old park, there is a new open-air swimming pool, with a wonderful view.

Food & beverage

The bar is open from 08:00 - 23:00 each day.

Breakfast is served from 08:30 - 12:00.
Lunch is served from 12:00 - 16:00.
Dinner is served from 18:00 - 22:30.

Meals are charged at an additional cost per person for a complete menu with wine, water and Italian coffee. Please note that bar and restaurant are located outside the main building.

In the breakfast included in the room rate, we offer a cappuccino, a brioche and a juice.For an additional cost, is possible to have english, or american breakfast as well.

Area information

All of Tuscany and Umbria’s main historic and artistic attractions are within easy reach of the hotel. These include: Montalcino; Siena; Florence; and Assisi.

la posizione vicina al centro città, la cura ed il gusto con cui le camere sono arredate e mantenute

Non era specificato che la colazione avviene in una struttura esterna al B&B Petrella (Bar Signorelli). L'impossibilità di pagare con carta di credito (forse temporanea ?) è un limite importante.
