B&B Residenza Giotto

The staff were very friendly and wonderful. They were very helpful, warm, willing to assist in any way. The facilities were amazingly centrally located and the value for what we received was excellent. Loved the elevator for getting our luggage up to the 4th floor.

Very impressed by the front desk help. She was a doll. Location was absolutely ideal right around the corner from the Duomo. Clean and nice sized room. Would recommend this to anyone.

We liked everything about the B&B. Our room had a good view of the Duomo. And specially the Breakfast area has a clear and beautiful view. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and good location.

Location is absolutely superb 10 points

Bathroom, in fact shower is behind the material "curtain"- it is rather not acceptable if you pay 100 to 140 euro per night. Brekfast is very, very poor. Small pieces of chesse, unfresh bread and croissant ( every day unfresh ). I suppose due to existing regulations owner must serve a brekfast, but common...

The hotel is situated in the center of Firenze and it is possible to go everywhere by walk.The stuff is so friendly and great to feel just like staying at home instead of a hotel.It will be my first choise for my next travel ..

We loved it. Sylvia was so helpful, We met several other travelers. The room was perfect. And there is no way to beat the location.

The hotel location is the best you can get, you are just right next to the Duomo and in the morning you here the church bells go off while you are having breakfast on the outside balcony right next to the church. We also had dinner one night on the balcony with some antipasto and wine and bread, in the sunset it was magical

The position is simply fantastic. I'd point up the kindness of the owner; after check-out we had planned to go to Pisa for only some hours, then back to Florence and come back home; well, she permitted us to host at the b&b our luggages without any charge: simply great

It felt like livivng in a room in someone's house since the reception was just outside our door, they have 6 rooms they rent, but still the location, the room and the service, and also the great value for money worth it. Breakfast was very poor needs to be improved

Clean rooms, a/c worked well (Florence was so hot!), the balcony was lovely to hang out on, but most of all our host Giorgio was so welcoming and wonderful. He gave excellent recommendations and went out of his way to help with reservations. I stayed with my husband & another couple and we all loved the hotel and location.

We selected Residenza Giotto because of its guest rating, price and location. With limited time in Florence we wanted to be near both the train station and the center of Renaissance cultural sites. The location near the Duomo was perfect. The morning bells as mentioned by others was not a problem. The facility is on the 4th floor but the presence of a small lift made the stay easy to access. Breakfast was adequate and enjoyable since it could be taken on a patio terrace. Room size by European standards was typical and adequate as we used it only for sleeping. The staff and owner were all very helpful at every turn. Security was more than adequate requiring 3 keys to get access to the reception area.

For our needs the facility was excellent. We would stay there again.

Georgio & Silvia were magnificent hosts, so helpful with our stay in Florence for two nights! We loved their hospitality & the location is awesome right by the Duomo! We walked from the train station pulling our cases & found it easily! The little terrace for breakfast & in the evenings is such a special experience! Also loved seeing over the streets of Florence from our room & listening to the church bells! Appreciated the Airconditioning in the room after sightseeing! Good size room with high ceilings & with Tea & Coffee making facilities! Wish we could have had a few more nights.

Location is right in the city center, can't imagine what can be closer. Personell was nice and helpful.

I was driving a car and finding a route to the hotel in the labyrinth of the streets was a whole disaster. Never use the car to reach the hotel (leave it on the parking outside the city center). Furthermore, parking service costs 27 eur per day. Rooms are quite old (I noticed cracks on the walls, sewerage was not working well) and not very clean (some fungus in the bathroom, a couple of hairs from previous guests). If you can close your eyes on those things - others are ok. I also didn't like the constant noisiness from the street (even after midnight), however closed windows help a lot with this issue. Breakfast is poor (no cheese or ham, only corns, jams and yorurts).

Great location, friendly reception, lovely rooftop patio.

Very friendly staff. Comfortable. Easy to find. Very very accommodating to changes in our schedule. Helped us plan things to do in Florence. Clean facility and rather comfortable beds. Quiet inside, but could hear the buslte and liveliness of the city. Great view of the Duomo from the terrace.

Needed another trash can in the room. One in the bathroom isn't enough.

The hotel is in a great location just off the plaza of the Duomo. We could see it from our window. The staff is very friendly and had good recommendations for dinner and other information not in guidebooks. The weather was beautiful so enjoyed sitting on the patio for breakfast and in the afternoon. Our room was large and comfortable although the bathroom and shower were tiny.

There was a step up to the bathroom with a marble edge and we afraid of tripping over it at night.

Dificuldade para chegar ao hotel de carro. Café da manhã poderia ser mais completo.

La posizione centralissima e panoramica, a pochi passi dal Battistero e da S.Maria in Fiore. La cortesia ed efficienza del personale. La meravigliosa terrazza con vista, ottima anche per la colazione. L'atmosfera: essendoci solo 6 stanza non sembra di stare in albergo.

La connessione internet è gratuita ma spesso lenta. L'assenza di asciugacapelli in camera.

地点好得没话说！出门就是圣母百花大教堂。坐在露台看着教堂吃早餐简直就是幸福满满。

不知道为什么手机能连上网但电脑有信号却什么网页也打不开。我和我朋友的电脑都不行。
