The location for the Vatican is excellent, Good breakfast
Because it is not in the centre in the evening there is nothing to do. And the nice room we see on the website, i did not seen it. The shower was very poor, small and with showercurtain.
I think they have more than one B&B, because the one I actually stayed in was called Pope Window, across the street from the address I was given. That was confusing. Despite this, I loved this B&B. It was a true B&B, hotel was great, location is 5 minutes from Vatican City and walking distance to bus 64 which takes you anywhere. Because of the location, great food was reasonable priced, too. Very clean.
WiFi was weak.
close to St Peter
they promissed to send you an invoice which they did not although they were reminded several times. they told me you it is fully booked and intneded to give me an ugly old room and only after a long discussion I was able to get a decent room which is in line with the pictures you can see on the website. although I am not to keen on breakfast this is very limited like the seats available. you may end up sitting in the kitchen...
It is very clean it is pleasant sillent during night it is realy next to everything!!! the stuff was more than good with us the breakfast was enough to start the day we will come again very soon!!!!
friendly staff, very close to the Vatican city, good price, normal breakfast
Everything. Staff was very helpfull. We'll go back there again..
The receptionist is nice and room was clean
The picture in the Ad is not the same with the room we were given, The lady told us that is only for first class like and ours is economy, so we went to another building just across.
We were allowed to check in early. Place was very clean and nice. It is centrally located, so it was easy to find everywhere we wanted to go.
When we arrived the gentleman could not speak english, his wife did however. The air conditioning in the bedrooms were not working and they said that they would fix them. We left and when we returned they still were not working. We had no idea how to get in contact with them as we only had our cell phones and the numbers would not work on them. We also could not get on the free wi-fi. I think contact numbers and wi fi information right at the front door would be a great asset. We also were supposed to get breakfast in morning at 8, however we decided that we had to leave by 8. We could not contact them to let them know we were leaving. Luckily she lived just across the street and saw us with a cab and came over so we could pay her.
At first sight the entrance looked old, when entering the apartment the interior looked better, then we entered our room that was given to us which was of good size to accommodate 1 queen bed, and 3 single beds. The room had high ceilings which I liked and also had sound proof windows. The restroom was of good space except the shower. After the 1st days - You really start feeling like home. Roxana speaks enough English to get by and can give you some directions around town. She give you a map and give you directions to take the bus. I really like the location, a 2 or 3 blocks St Petters Cathedral. We slept very good after walking all day, we had no problem for sleep. In the mornings you start listening the Breakfast Preparations ouside your room but it was not an issue since I used it as the wake up call. You can meet the other visitors at Breakfast time. If you are looking for a luxery room this may not be your option - but if you are looking for a great location and a good place to spend the night and have decent breakfast - you will like this place. Very good pillows, good beds - Good area. The apartment had like 3 or 4 rooms and one common breakfast room. Your breakfast was already served when you walked out of the room waiting for you to sit on the table. One Coffe was also served. The breakfast was just fine just to get you going for the early morning hours. Outside the building, there was a very good restaurant on the other side of the street like walking towards St. Petters but before going into the walking tunnel, they have tables outside in the sidewalk - good prices - free service and they serve 1 liter Water Bottle for around 3 euros. The Bus stop is just in front and you can buy the tickets in a market store that is in front as well. We did not have to use the Metro at all the 4 nights we spent in Rome. We used the Bus and walk. We watched the Wordcup Final in the room where we brought some snacks from the market store in front of the building.
The only thing that was anoying was the shower head - Needed to find a way to get it stand still and not move. We arrived at 10pm and I always take a shower before going to bed so this night the Water Heater was not on so I had to take a shower with cold water since for some reason the water heater is controlled from other room but next day they took care first thing in the morning.
I found the staff very friendly and accommodating. The facilities were clean and in order and the inclusive breakfast was generous. I would stay there again!
Proximity to Vatican and restaurants. Modern furnishings. Great staff, breakfast items delivered to our apartment. Would stay again.
A/c didn't work in bedroom, broken door handle on bathroom,
Everything was perfect! Extremely kind, hospitable and helpful staff, tasty breakfast, clean spacious rooms with air-conditioning. Amazing location (a five minute walk to St. Peter's Square). Great price. I highly recommend it to anyone!
I love it, I love the service, everything was excellent :)
That they did not have internet :(
Very organised, clean and new. The room had everything we needed and Mariana was very helpful and kind.
Difficulty opening door to b&b, letting water out of lavabo, no staff in property,
location was really good and convienient
Room abit too sqeezed especially bathroom area. There was no availability of any english channels on television
We booked a room for 6 people at this hotel but when we arrived they asked for a full payment in advance and then told us that we'll stay in another hotel without mentioning that previously !!! We booked a fresh, modern room and that is not what we received, this is unacceptable
place of flatt silence
Shower bath was not repair in our flatt view of flatt
Great location. Great breakfast.
Excellent location, I walked to the Vatican every day. Breakfast was great, but to also get lunch, an added bonus. Roxanna & Roxanna were wonderful, and so helpful.
With only one set of keys, if my wife wanted to stay back, and I took the keys, she couldn't get to the kitchen then back to our room.
Very spacious unit. Was short walk to Vatican. Great for family with older or younger kids. Roxanne great!!! Arranged driver worked out perfect but he was quiet with little info. Overall, stay was very, very good. Great place!
The staff was very friendly. Both Roxannas were lovely. It was really close to Vaticano and to nice restaurants. The bus to the rest of the city was just outside the door. Everything was clean and confortable. They even had books and magazines for the guests to use.
The wifi didn't work in our room for most of our stay, but we could use the internet in the breakfest room whenever we want.
Roxana was helpful in providing guidance on transportation. Mariana is also very friendly in making sure we have all we need in the room and prepared breakfast in the morning. Distance to Vatican City is close, about 5 mins walk and about 15 mins walk to the nearest Metro station.
The bus stop for bus 64 was not as close as depicted in terms of distance. We were brought to stay across the road at no: 44 and not 49 as what we booked hence the pictures on website are not of the actual location we stayed at.
Very good location - 1 min. walk from Vatican, bus stop to the center just near the main entrance. Very pleasant staff, giving really good feeling. Clean room, and the small kitchen just outside the room. The place is small, but only 4 rooms on the floor, so you don't share it with many people.
The room we got was small. Such room good for the couple, but it includes also bunked bed for 2 kids. We needed one more bed for the third kid, that was provided but closed completely the last piece of floor. Though, since most of the day we went outside and didn't spend much time in the room - it wasn't so bad.
Location to the Vatican was excellent.
Bed and pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Hot water to shower was very limited if other rooms were using the water. Drainage in bathroom was poor. Breakfasts was 'dry'. Pictures on the booking.com website are misleading. City Tax was also a cash extra we did not know about. For seven euro's per night more Hotel Michaelangelo round the corner is a much better option.
