The place very close everwhere
The location - close to Termini station - means that you can reach most of the best attractions of Rome on foot. The staff is extremely helpful, they even offered us a better room than we booked, for a very small additional money (few euros/day). The room was very clean, the bed excellent, the bathroom also very clean. It was very quiet. The coolest feature of the hotel is its terrace on the roof, connected with small kitchen - breakfast in the morning sun on 7th floor was delightful.
The area around Termini station is a bit rough and you have to keep an eye on your belongings. But it's not as bad as some people say. The only bad thing about the room was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom - probably coming from old pipes in the old building of the hotel. The venilator was there, but did not work. Also, the room was very humid, so do not expect the towels to dry quickly.
Location is excellent Silence Stuff - especially chairwomen Clear room
Breakfast - very poor - probably the worst breakfast in my life... cheese + ham + toast every morning??? No fruits, no vegetables... Bathroom- difficult to set warm water - there are only extremes - hot or cold Wifi - poor & unstable signal, only in the area of reception and "breakfast room"
room was bigger than we expected we had booked a shared bathroom, which we only had to share with two other rooms breakfast was sufficient rooms were cleaned once a day the rooftop terrace was really nice
because our room faced the courtyard it was quite loud plus the walls were very thin, which meant that we heard everything from the rooms next to us
Good location near city center and Termini station/metro. Clean and comfortable room.
Breakfast really poor with cups and plates dirty. City tax to pay in CASH only.
Wifi reached the room, though it is available in the lobby. Helpful staff
Breakfast starts quite late, making it difficult to head out early unless you miss it.
Everything was good arrangement excellent the personnel friendly especially the guy on the reception and the georgian girl lisa who gave the breakfast and was tidied up
Initially I was a little skeptical about it because it was my first time in Europe and I wasn't sure what I was going to encounter. Once checked in, Tudor was extremely helpful and kind. He gave us a tour map and showed us exactly how to get to our destinations. Huge help. The breakfast each morning was great and filling. The staff was admirably kind. The room was clean, comfortable and it had a private bathroom! (Despite what the website said). All in all, this was a great pick. I'd definitely stay here on my next visit. Molto bene!
Map on website shows hotel on a different location. But, hotel is in a better location.
-location near Termini station
-poor cleanliness -very old -lamps not all functioning -no toilet paper one day!
The location is good.Staffs are nice.
Too noisy. The heater didn't work sometimes. Guests lived there were not friendly.
The location was excellent, just a three minute walk to Termini station. It is also within walking distance to many restaurants and most sights. Good internet connection.
Our room had a bad odor in the bathroom. Although the room was clean, the odor from the bathroom made it seem as though it was not. They offered us another room if we wanted to switch but it was smaller and darker so we kept the first room. The breakfast could be improved on - the first day we had some ham, cheese, and packaged croissants, juice, coffee. They also had cold cereal and milk. After that there was no ham, just cheese and the packaged breads. Not a bad breakfast but it could be better.
--There were clean towels each day and night. --The cleaning lady and the breakfast lady (sometimes the same person) was very nice --Great location near train station
--The smell of this hotel is awful!!! It's a sickly sweet cleaning smell. --So noisy--every morning we were woken up with a loud Russian man yelling in the courtyard--also the walls are very thin so every time someone went in a room it was like they were coming into our room --The check-in staff was rude and abrupt. He even yelled at us one morning when we were two minutes early for breakfast. --The hotel is literally falling down--door frames falling off, broken bits of door, no shower head (we took a shower under a hose like nozzle), peeling paint, holes in the walls, falling down room decor, etc.
internet connection it's ok
it is deplorable
Staff was super friendly, available 24 hours, great value, blazing fast Internet included, breakfast was included but never woke up in time to eat. To add to the gem the main terminal is 2 blocks a away (5 minutes tops)
Elevator seemed a bit shafty... no pun intended... If you don't mind a few stairs no biggie, small storefront, easy to walk past and hotels full name is "Hotel Hollywood Stella Elsa"
oldfashioned facilities / uncomfortable bunkbed / low level breakfast
