location really perfect! This time I order the triple room for 3 people,which beyond my expect,a big room with outside plat! Staff are really helpful and enthusiastic

It was superb. Only 100 yards from the Duomo. Facilities perfect, staff helpful. No breakfast, but a voucher for the restaurant on the Duomo square perfect

Location, Location, and Location. Very close to the major sites in Firenze [10-20 m0n walk]. Staff [owner and manager] very friendly. No elevator, 22 stairs, some might find it a problem.

good location. we stayed in a self-catering apartment which suited us well. Good coffee (and machine provided) host / staff v helpful, as we arrived quite late.

no bath - just a shower!

We stay in apartment near Duomo ,staff is so nice, he try to serve you everything is u want, Place is great its referbished all is new and they have Lift for ur lagguage it great hostel for tourist

the staff not stay in Front Desk, somtime if u wanna ask them u call to Phone and in 5 minute they come

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. When I informed them I was doing the marathon on the Sunday (the day of my departure) they told me I could check as late as I needed and after I had got myself sorted without kicking up a fuss or charging extra. Location was also perfect and I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly hosts. Pics of hotel are very close to how the rooms look in real. Great value for money. Best location!

Check-in and Check-out desk have timings which means you cant just walk in or out and find someone at the reception. You need to plan your check-in /out in advance and inform the hosts in advance.

the room is very big, there is kitchen if you want to cook. The hotel is located quite close to the Duomo, and is 15 minutes walking distance from the train station.

The wifi didn't work in the room, we had to go to the lobby to check emails or book tickets.

The Location was excellent close to Piazza Dell Duomo,the railway station, Galleria Dell Accademia and shopping. The owner was very friendly and the free ice creams were a great touch. The internet was the best we have had in Italy. We had a small kitchenette which was a bonus.

Only stay here if you need to be up and out by 8am. There is a school sports stadium next door where there is basketball being played and it feels like they are playing in your room. At the same time there is a classroom directly above and there is a continuous noise of 30 chairs scraping across the floor. Remember most tourist sites don't open until 10am. No English channels. Our room was dark and it needed more lights.

The location is just great (1 min. to Duomo). The appartment was big, clean and very well equipped. The bedrooms -spacious and recently renewed. The staff - nice and helpful. The appartment is located on the top floor (more than 100 steps) so make sure that the lift works. When we stayed there, the lift was out of order and the owner offered us an extra dinner in a a local restaurant. It was unexpected but nice.

the lift- not working the street is a bit noisy we booked 2 double rooms and they offered us an appartment ; we didn't complain but some people may not like this kind of surprises

Note - this was the Annex room - different building than rest of the B&B The room was clean. The discount coupon for the Opera Caffe was nice - it is a very nice coffee bar.

The Annex is in a separate building about a block from the B&B. It can best be described as a 1970's infill building that appeared to be abandoned. It was a very strange and somewhat creepy place to stay - you certainly didn't want to spend any more time there then necessary. Compared to other lodging we had for similar or less money it was definitely inferior. Other issues - the AC unit was not connected (needed it because you could not leave the patio door open as it led to common patio area), the hair dryer died and the shower was missing one door panel. If you are using this B&B - which based on other comments I assume is fine - avoid the Annex room

Location is great. 10 minutes walking from the main station. Right next to the Duomo with great places for dinner and 5 minutes walking from main attractions like Uffizi gallery and Ponte Vecchio. Very friendly staff and attentive, they even lent me a charger for my phone. Nicely decorated rooms and quite. Very clean.

Please note that there is no 24 hours reception.

The location was excellent, you could not get accommodation closer to the main tourist attractions. The staff were very friendly and I loved the free ice creams available after a long day of sight seeing!

They were fantastic - friendly and helpful. The location is incredible for sightseeing.

No real breakfast provided, but they provided coffee (very good espresso) and icecream. Breakfast in Italy is usually a sweet and cappacino. American style breakfast is available in several restaurants very close by.

The location of B&B Tourist House Ricci is excellent. Close to the Duomo, museums, shopping. We easily walked everywhere, taking in the sights & sounds of Florence along the way. Stefano helped us with reservations for various museums, which made our stay smoother & more efficient. We enjoyed a large 3 BR 2 Bath -- each bedroom was large with a double/queen bed, a sofa (which opened to a sofa bed, if needed), television & ample closet/drawer space for our 5 day stay. The apt also had a fully equipped kitchen & dining room to comfortably seat 6. Some evenings, we enjoyed a glass of wine on the private terrace which enjoyed a view of the top of the Duomo peaking above the buildings & the moon.

Our reservation was for a 2 Bedroom Apt (2 Twins & a Queen), however upon our arrival, Stefano seemed to think our family was larger than 4 people. He had prepared the 3 Bedroom apartment for us (with a portacrib & open made sofa bed), which he gave to us for the same price. So, that took a little rearranging upon our arrival. Typically, this would have been positive development, however the 3 BR duplex did not have a traditional type of living room - rather it had a small type of sitting room upstairs off the terrace (which was very warm), so we gathered in a bedroom to spend family time together instead of a living room. The bedrooms were air-conditioned, but not the entire apartment, which would typically have been fine, but for our stay during a 100+F week of weather. We would have benefitted from a little more orientation to the apartment (a/c adjustment, tv channels, working the clothes washer, etc) & Florence (the red street numbers are businesses, the black street numbers are residences - so follow only the red numbers when looking for a business). Part of this was our fault as we were so exhausted from the trip & then the heat that we didn't seek out Stefano for answers. His office was just down the block, but it was just that hot. We would have appreciated a booklet in the apt with instructions about the apartment (& Florence), as our questions often arose at odd hours & then were in tension with enjoying Florence.

Central location. Spacious, value for money and comfort all exceeded expectations. No complaints at all for this 2 bedroom apartment. We even used the washing machine. Would definitely recommend this to a 4/5 person group.

Absolutely fantastic location, 1min walk from the Domo, with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are large with all the necessities, and since you definitely won't be spending much time indoors you'll only appreciate the large storage space, the size of the room and the quiet atmosphere.

Could not get a proper wifi signal from our room (furthest from the reception).

Fantastic location. Amazing value for the money. Lovely little touches that make a difference when you're in and out of hotels frequently. The staff went above and beyond to offer help and advice.

It provide the kitchen so that we can cook. My wife and I have a wonderful time in this hotel.

Sometimes the bathroom has weird smells.
