The Ausonia & Hungaria is in a building featuring modern or Art Nouveau decor and a façade with majolica tiles. It is 270 yards from the beach and a 5-minute walk from the Vaporetto water bus stop.

Set in a 15th-century building behind St. Mark’s Square, the small, elegant Relais Venezia is located in one of the city's oldest and smallest streets. All rooms have a flat-screen TV.

Everything! All the staffs were very kind and very helpful, breakfast was nice, room was clean and comfy.
The particularly restful location of this handsome villa and access to its romantic garden. The room itself - front, large, first floor room with balcony: huge bed, stylish decor, generous bathroom and kitchen area. Within easy, seven minute walk to the vaporetto. Restaurants within easy walk. Beach option, if you have the time to spend away from Venice sightseeing. Elegant breakfasts in the garden. Welcoming, efficient staff.
just a couple of minor suggestions - no big criticism; a full length mirror inside a wardrobe door, or on the back of the bathroom door would be useful. Bottom sheet that has more allowance to 'tuck under' the mattress, and a cotton mattress cover/under sheet - no doubt difficult to find for such a generous sized bed. These are minor criticisms. Our stay was delightful.
Beautiful location away from hustle of Venice. Property surrounded by lovely gardens and close to beach and local restaurants
We booked room only and didn't have contact with staff until the end of our 3 night stay. Not ideal for any local information. Lovely property but the room available through Booking.Com is very small indeed - little space to move or to store belongings.
Everything. Staff and accomodation wonderful.
Kitchen could do with a microwave. Otherwise perfect.
The size of the room was so small that we had to take turns opening our suitcases. We traveled with another couple and both of us booked double rooms in this "Bed and Breakfast". They got a junior suite with breakfast and we got a closet with no breakfast (probably because there was no room to eat). We were offered breakfast of we pay extra. We had just come from a wonderful B&B and were surprised by this situation. Our fault for not reading the fine print, but why call yourself a Bed & Breakfast if it isn't for all or not included on the price? We were told to contact booking.com if we had questions about this. The shower door did not fit the tub so after each shower the floor was flooded and most of the towels had to be used to wipe up the floor. We also had no controls over the air conditioning. When we wanted to check out we called ( no front desk and I asked the other couple who to call because no information was left in our room) and were told that check out was at 9:00. I explained we knew nothing of this and had to catch a plane. They did come to the room. This was a beautiful place and location, but they have no right in selling this as a double room.
Good location-easy walk from water bus stop. Gardens were beautiful.
If you get the junior suite, it is roomy and comfortable. If you get a standard room, it is tiny, cramped, and not worth the money.
Everything was excellent! Atmosphere, location, staff - most of all - Stefano))), and the family - owners of the hotel. Very warm and friendly place)))
Wonderful house and garden. Close to everything. Charming owners.
Our room was very small for 2 people. The air conditioner was inadequate and the fridge did not work. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom excellent. No reading lights.
Fridge broken and list of items that required attention
I would thank Mr.Stefano for his assistance he tried to make everything clear and comfortable for us
I would mention one disadvantage that was happen when i park my car inside the villa to take my luggage the road inside the villa to come in or come out the gate was bottleneck and when i were leaving the owner stop her car in front of me then i return back to gave her some space but because the garden parking so narrow i come over the grass of her garden then she start yelling on me but Stefano cool her down then i come out so please avoid seeing the owner she is a hostile
Absolutely fascinated with this place! Nice and quite a big garden, not big but well decorated rooms, spacious bathroom with the bath and separated shower. Close to the waterbus station and to the beach. Situated not in overcrowded place but there are a lot of café and restaurants 2 min walk. Will definitely stay next time we are in Venice.
Not a significant but I would recommend to change the juice to fresh one and add omelet or fried eggs to the breakfast.
Beautiful place to stay. Very welcome, relaxing, helpful staff. Great location.
We loved the gardens and the neighborhood. Lido was easily our favorite part of Venice and was worth the time to get to from the mainland. We were late checking in because of a strike on all transportation the day we were there, but the staff was incredibly considerate and sweet despite our lateness. The breakfast was wonderful and the facilities were great, we wish we would have spent more time there! Highly reccomend :)
Very friendly staff and beautiful setting...
No facilities for hot drinks in rooms.
Good location. Beautiful garden. Сomfortable room.
It was great stay.
Breakfast in the Garden with all the flowers is beautiful and romantic. Stefano and his staff were very helpful and friendly :-)
Breakfast in the garden. the space in our bedroom and bathroom. Ambience of the house, garden and location. cleanliness,
Very pretty garden to sit in and very close to Main Street and shops. Nice big room and bathroom. The lovely and friendly Stefano :)
friendly staff beautifull location excellent location to visit venice
The hotel is near by waterbus station, environment is very beautiful. I forget to take the passport , and can't catch up the airport . The worker take it to airport on time.
The location couldn't be better - near landing stage and main street, yet quiet. The staff and owner couldn't have been friendlier. In fact the cookery half day with the owner was one of the high lights of our stay. We were independent in the annexe, which may not suit everyone but suited us. The main house garden is superb.
The annexe gets virtually no sun, good in the height of summer but not at the beginning of May. The sitting out space is very much overlooked by high and not very attractive backs of buildings. Cooking facilities could do with updating and there was no toilet paper. Supermarkets were near, but for the price we would have expected more provided.
good location, friendly staff, clean with good facilities. Beautiful situation with wonderful garden.
Expensive for smallish room with no breakfast
Lido is super as a starting point for your day. A bit "out" of the centre of Venice, but totaly accecible by boots. A bit a different environment to come back to, each evening : beach, spa, ... Villa Ines is super, breackfast in the room or the garden, very peacefull, big rooms, friendly people, ...
Stefano. He is just so kind and nice! very helpful and friendly.
That it was not mentioned any where that during our visit there will be renovation going on. So the noise of drilling and hammer striking through walls woke us up Early on Saturday morning. we were hoping to get up a little later on our last day in Venice.
Very pleasant B&B in a quiet, residential location. Comfortable, well appointed and nicely decorated throughout. Genuinely friendly and accommodating as well - quite different from your standard hotel experience. Many thanks to Marika, Stefano and all of their staff :-)
Bear in mind that the cheaper rooms are small and don't include breakfast. This isn't a negative, just a consideration.
