the free bikes were perfect for getting around and into lovere.
staff were disappointing e.g. didn't know anything about boats to & from castro.
Food, Service, Restaurant
Good spacious rooms, we were a group of 4 on bicycle trip. Secure lockup for our bikes, great food and friendly staff
Breakfast could have a bit earlier but that was only because we needed to be on the road to make our stop
Top room with a great restaurant
Lovely apartment for our family. We have 3 children and had the apartment with a mezzanine floor, which the kids loved. Plenty big enough for us. The village is small, but was a great base to explore and is easy walking distance to Lovere with many shops and restaurants.
Great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and even drove us up to the little century church up on the hill overlooking the local section of lake. Great pizza from Gabriella. Fantastic!!
The location, facilities and staff of this family owned business are all very good indeed. Breakfast is good, and the restaurant is excellent for evening meals. Free parking is available close at hand.
Whilst all the other members of the owner-family were friendly and welcoming, the father hardly ever greeted us in spite of the fact that we stayed there for 8 nights!
The staff were very welcoming and the location stunning. The room was also beautiful! Whilst staff had very limited english they were friendly and always smiling.
Whilst lovere is a short walk, getting around does require a car. Also the room we had was not very sound proof and so noisy guests were a small issue on some nights. However that isnt the hotel's fault!
Good large rooms. The view of the lake at breakfast. Very clean with good service. Free bikes for a nice stroll to Lovere.
No view from our room.
Stayed with 4 kids for a night in the huge family room (actually a big independent three bedrooms apartment). Great wi-fi, fun Jacuzzi, right on the quiet lake, great pizza's in the crowded restaurant, friendly hosts. Sorry we were around only for 1 night
a bit out of the way
Our apartment was quite spacious, clean and comfortable; located along a cute, cobblestony alleyway, a few steps away from an ancient-looking church and quite close to the lake. The food at the restaurant was a great value and delicious; the staff always helpful and courteous. Just lovely.
This was the perfect stay for us. Right on the Lake with tremendous views. The staff were very helpful and the room was large and perfect. The breakfast was great and the meal we had at the restaurant was very good, both overlooking the lake. Would highly recommend this place.
The internet connection was not good
friendly and helpful staff, great room, nice breakfast, everything was great
Uncomfortable matresses on beds
A pleasant studio in an old building in a pleasing lakeside setting.
The cooperative and nice stuff responded immediately when there was a maintenance problem in the room and switched rooms. They gave us tips and directed us to outstanding visit sites.
Good size room with large modern clean ensuite. Good quality free bike use. Good value restaurant with pleasant outdoor area, bit cramped and noisy inside.
The rooms were very spacious on the first floor with a small balcony - unfortunately only looking out on the back of the building in front. There was a large kitchen where we were able to prepare meals. There was a free car park and the lake was only a two minute walk. The staff were friendly. This would be an excellent place to stay during "mid/off seasons"
Beware - the "fully equiped kitchen" was far from that. For cooking there was only one old pot - no large spoons or spatulas. We ended up by buying a stoneware pan for frying ourselves. There was no washing up liquid or cloths (we did ask and we did get) and no tea towels. No dish washer. Not even anything to make tea or coffee with. We improvised. Also the noise from the upper level was very loud at times. On the first night there was a party going on with singing and banging. The second night was fine.
Great location, very close to ferry. Nice apartments. But better to have more than one person speaking English (many thanks to Nikola).
Friendly staff. Clean, recently modernised apartment. free parking.
remote location, but Vulcano Village can't be blamed for this. Lack of lake view, despite its proximity.
Our small children of 2 and 4 y.o. loved the place even more than us because of the kids room decoration with little dolls. Our daughter insisted on coming back again...
Lot's of stairs if you have a few suitcases...
Spacious apartment. In lovely old building. Friendly staff, right next to the Lake. Good location for day trips to Como & Verona.
Professional staff, excellent food at their restaurant for a very good price
B&b is inside the village, no views at all and some 100m around the corner a big factory!
