All was perfect. Hosts extremely kind and helpful. Thank you!
Plentiful breakfast; nice hosts; nice terrace with view of surrounding hills; dinner served at location with prior notice
Room a little noisy if other guests stay late in the dinnning area / living room area; dinner prices rather similar to those in restaurants
This was a gem found off the beaten track. All the staff were friendly and treated us as part of the family. The meals were especially good and all the guests ate around one table, making for interesting conversations. This is a very popular cycling area and although we missed the annual cycle event there were still many cyclists amongst the guests.
No problems at all!
Lovely B&B with a warm welcome. The room was very comfortable with a super view and nice sized balcony. The shared table meals were a good opportunity to meet fellow travellers and share recommendations of where to visit. Anna and Morgaro go out of their way to make your stay everything you would wish for. Thank you Ruth & Kevin
Most rooms have terrace/balcony with gorgeous view over the valley. Be sure and request dinner - home made in their dining room - great meal and reasonably priced. Need GPS to find it, but it is centrally placed in Chianti.
Wonderful Location, Friendly People.
A bit pricey for the level of comfort
Beautiful setting. Excellent, home cooked food. Lovely, clean, comfortable, quiet room with panoramic balcony. Friendly hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. Great atmosphere and good company at mealtimes.
There was nothing we didn't like but parking can be tricky and you need your own transport to tour around the wonderful countryside.
This B & B is utterly delightful. We did not know the best place to visit in Tuscany, but by luck (and these reviews!), we found it. Borgolecchi is impeccably clean, beautiful, and a great deal of fun. Anna & Morgano are ever-cheerful, and cook up delicious meals with lively guests. Introduction to local wines by Anna proved to be quite helpful. The surrounding area is full of wonderful discoveries (via car) and easy access on winding small hillside streets. Beautiful. We would go back in a heartbeat. Jan & Tom, San Diego, California
Nothing. The only thing 'missing' was intermittent internet in our room, but. .. really, this is Tuscany, and time to unplug. Blessing in disguise to get off the internet for a brief period.
Nice quaint location, meal were excellent, overall a very special experience. Will book again and recommend to friends and family.
Wi-Fi was a bit spotty.
Everything. Morgaro and Anna couldn't have been more friendly. They really treated us as family. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent. My daughter can't stop talking about the pasta ever since we came back. This is not a Ritz, but better and more authentic if you are looking for a true Tuscany vacation.
Everything! So cosy to eat together round this big table ,and look out in the kitchen and see the cooking team.I was very impressed that,I as a vegetarian could make them cook something specially for me with such short notice .We will be back!
We are a group of 12 people from China that almost take the entire B&B space. I must admit this is the best experience we had ever by staying in a B&B for everything being highly valued. Anna and Morc and their family are super nice to their guests. The B&B has a warm and family-oriented decoration and set-up and the rooms/beds are comfortable 9some of them with great views). The most charming part is the chef - Morc the husband who can make super delicious Tuscan food including home made pasta, Florentina steak and Tiramisu, etc. We will come back again!
The owners are sooo friendly , they cook for you the most delicious Italian homemade food.. It's out of this world. They make your stay so comfortable, best customer service I experienced so far. I will go again next year and can recommend it to everyone.
Anna and Morc were just WONDERFUL. This B&B was the icing on the cake to our stay in the Chianti region. They were so helpful and welcoming. The room was very cute, large and comfortable. We had a terrace overlooking the countryside with just the most beautiful scenery you could imagine. But what really made our stay in this region were the dinners at Borgolecchi. Some of the best food I've ever had. And spending time with Anna and Morc (And Kase and Laurence and Fredrick) was just so wonderful. Breakfast was amazing as well. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to immerse themselves in the Tuscan countryside with some really fantastic people.
If you ever come to Chianti region do not miss opportunity to stay in Borgolecchi house. Hospitality, food, cleanness, atmosphere, simply everything.....For sure we will come back again!
One of the best places we have EVER stayed in! The food cooked by the owners is delicious and cleaning service is outstanding! Anna & Morgaro, the two owners, are extremely helpful & friendly - you feel like home and really don't want to leave at all! The view & the surroundings are incredible as well!
Nothing to complain about - everything was simply perfect!
Great breakfast and dinner Wonderful hosts Comfortable room Beautiful views from room Quiet location Spotlessly clean
You'll need a car to travel in the area
Wonderful hospitality by the couple who runs the place. Cozy rooms with a balcony overlooking the view around You can get a wonderful dinner prepared by the owner at an additional cost
The village is very small and a little isolated, therefore there are no evening activities
So good! We felt great!
One of the best B&Bs in Italy. Anna and Morgaro have hospitality in their veins. They are warm and welcoming. The inn is very prettily decorated with quiet rooms in a tiny village in Chianti. Morgaro is a master chef - beyond the bountiful breakfasts composed of fresh local ingredients, he cooks dinner at your request most nights (at an extra but reasonable charge). The meals are home-cooked recipes from his mother and quite amazing. He and Anna are available for any request you may have. Staying here is like staying in a home of your favorite relatives.
As well as Lecce itself being a quaint lovely Italian with apparently only 70 residents, B&B Borgolecchi provided a unique experience for our stay. Anna and Morgaro were the best possible hosts - we dined there two nights and the food was out of this world - the Fiorentina Steak is an absolute must! Thank you both so much for a very very enjoyable two days.
Anna and Morgaro were the perfect hosts in what can only be described as a gem of a place to stay. The room was extremely comfortable and clean and the view from our terrace was breath-taking. Breakfast was a feast and only because we were at a wedding stopped us from sampling their dinner. When we got back from the wedding after midnight the smells of the most glorious cooking - yes Morago was preparing fro the following day - hit the senses! I cannot recommend this beautiful place and these lovely people more highly!
Not being able to stay longer!
I liked absolutely everything. My stay at Borgolecchi was the Italian experience that I was hoping to have. Anna and Morgaro are the most amazing people who opened their home to me as a friend not just a guest. The food was the best I have had in Italy. Breakfast was a feast and the option of dinner was great. Dinners were amazing. My room was gorgeous, a great size with a wonderful terrace overlooking the countryside. Anna and Morgaro have extensive knowledge of the area and great suggestions for places to see and how to get there. Their service in all areas was outstanding. Morgaro shared his culinary skills with me during two amazing cooking lessons. I would definitely return to stay and would recommend Borgolecchi to anyone. Thanks for such an amazing experience. True Italian hospitality.
Absolutely 10/10 . Morgano and Anna are part of real Tuscany experience. They help you to live like Italian and to be part of their family. However Morgano cooks like Jamie Oliver. We love them and we thank them.
