The only negative thing I would mention is that they accept cash payments only, which would not have been a problem if we had been made aware of it upfront. It was just inconvenient to find this out at the time of check out and have to go around town to find a cash machine.
This is one of the best places we stayed in while touring in Sicily. The room felt like a mini apartment, with a very big room, long balcony including a table for 2, and a spacious bathroom. There is also a communal kitchen available, which we found very useful to store food and drinks in the fridge. The hospitality of the owner, Sig. Giorgio, was exceptional. He takes a lot of pride in what he does and it really shows in the way he welcomes customers. Breakfast was absolutely great too, with yummy and freshly baked croissant (make sure you order the filling you want the day before!), fresh fruit, coffees, teas, biscuits and local delicatessen. The location is great too, right in the centre of Modica Alta, where it's very easy to find parking just off the street as well as a pleasant walk down to Modica Bassa.
