The owner was very welcoming and the decor was nice.

The price is high but this seems typical for the area. The noise from the pipes was quite annoying.

Good location, very close to the center, but quiet. Everything was clean. Kind lady (she is the owner).

Even it is a B&B we found strange that it was the room in private flat. There wasn’t direct connection between room and bathroom (you logged out from the room in to the lobby and from there to the bathroom, but this part of the hall separated only with mobile light plastic door/wall (exactly I don’t know the correct word for this kind of the door – sorry). Poor breakfast (coffee + juice + 1 croissant).

Elyse was a sweet, sweet lady. It was an easy walk to the beach and several restaurants. The hiking trail entrance was close by.

The rooms were up 6 flights of stairs and there was no elevator. We had very heavy luggage! Elyse spoke almost no English. This was not horrible, just a challenge.

    Everything was PERFECT!!!

Landlady Elyse was very accommodating and accessible. Both rooms were clean, spacious, airy with windows open to the street. Bathroom for the large room is spacious but the bathroom for the smaller room is a bit tiny. Complimentary Wifi with reasonable speed. Close to a market and bank ATM machine. Breakfast voucher at the nearby cafe was nice. Property is located at the top of the main street. Lots of good restaurants and shops nearby.

Property is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Use of the property is limited to the rented rooms. Being at the top end of the village, it is an approx 5-10 minute walk to the old town beach and15-20 minute walk to the train station and the new town beaches.

Warm and friendly host. location in the village convenient to everything. Although some distance from the station it was a easy and pleasant walk along the waterfront and through the village- a taxi service is however available. It was good decision to be based in Monterosso for our 5 day stay in Cinque Terre. Would highly recommend it to all visiting the area.

The owner of the apartment who is running the B&B is a lovely lady: extremely kind, polite and welcoming, she really does her best to accommodate your needs and to recommend best restaurants or activities. People in town know her well, so you often get a discount when you tell you are staying at her place. The breakfast is served in a cafè 50 mt away from the apartment, so super close and easy, service is good and options are too. Super central, but still not right in the middle of the busy area. Bathroom was super neat at arrival, very well taken care of in every detail.

Rooms weren't done every day. We stayed 2 nights and we were a bit surprised to find out that the room/bed wasn't done after the 1st night, although we did get clean towels for the bathroom. It's ok but perhaps better to specify on the website that in this respect it's more similar to renting a room rather than staying in a B&B where I normally get bed done every morning, right? Neighbors were a bit noisy on the first night but we slept very well the second night around. I guess that you can always get rude neighbors in 5 star hotels as well!

My husband and I stayed with Elyse over a long weekend and were very pleased with our stay. The room is actually a room in her apartment. We had a private bathroom inside our room. The room was nice and clean. Elyse was extremely warm and welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay at her place. You get a coupon for a free breakfast at a little cafe down the street. We wanted something different than offered on our free meal and the man gladly exchanged the food. The apartment is in a perfect, central location. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

A very charming immaculate room with a wonderful welcoming host!

Several flights of stairs can be challenging for some travelers.

The owner was very friendly. Owner was helpful when explaining where dinner options were and provided cards which entitled us to a discount-10%. Entry into the apartment was very easy via the 3 keys provided. Room had plenty of space, good storage, and bed was very comfortable. Italian and German are spoken - no English therefore some proficiency of the first two necessary.

This property is in an apartment building and in fact the two rooms for rent are two bedrooms of the flat. Therefore you have families above and below you and the window of our room looked out onto one of the main streets. So, noise, talking, water flushing and chairs scrapping across the floor, until midnight and again starting at 630 in the morning. You must climb several flights of stairs before reaching the apartment level. No lift if you have a heavy bag. Our room was off a hallway and it's dedicated bathroom was right next door. There is a partition in the hallway which separates the two rented rooms. You can drive to the address but extended parking is up the hill about 150 meters. Parking costs E24/day and make sure you have the right change when trying to pay via machine. Make sure you aren't trying to use the new E5 notes. Your breakfast is down the street in a café...owner there was very friendly and items served good also. Property does NOT accept credit cards so you need to have the correct amount available at check-in as that's when you pay.

Elyse greeted us with a big smile and slippers and wanted to make sure we knew the room was spotless.

She uses a lot of perfume in the room and it caused us to have some allergic reactions.

    The room was very clean.

Lack of charm. 3rd foor, no elevator No credit cards admitted You actually rent a room in a private home, so you don't find any place to saty apart of you room. The vacuum cleaner, wasing machine, ladder and other stuff were stored in our "private" bathroom. There is no breakfast in the house. It is served in a bar nearby and is very frugal.

Elyse was the sweetest lady!! We arrived in a downpour, and she greeted us with slippers, and hung our coats. She was very welcoming and accommodating. Great location. Quaint and very clean room. Highly recommended!!

The lady at the bakery was not very friendly to us, but it was free and still really tasty.

This intimate B&B is bright and cheery. Elyse doesn't speak English but is so friendly, warm and welcoming. She is just next door and urges you to knock if you need anything at all. The beds boast beautiful crisp clean linens which are probably hand sewn. There is a little grocery store a few doors down if you need food or necessities. The town is small so nothing is far away...banks, restaurants, pharmacies, beach, groceries etc. The path to the National Park where you can hike to the town of Vernazza and the other Cinque Terre towns is only a short walk on the side of the beach.

We were fine and fit travelers would be, but if you have trouble with stairs, this is located 3 flights up stairs in a town where you already have to make your way up, up and up to get to the B&B.

Elyse was lovely, her rooms were very clean. She doesn't speak much English, but still gets her point across. The location was fantastic, right in the old town. The town is just gorgeous!!

Maybe a little expensive for what it is, but it seems that it is par for the location.
