눉The sofa bed in apartment for four. The room is relatively small, so the sofa bed has to be put in the corridor. But they tried their best to arrange the room. It is a tiny tiny negative part.
What I don't like most is that they are too generous. I am worried they could not balance the income and cost till my next visit.
눇The owners are wonderful, the brother gave us details about the ruins and good suggestions of resteraunts -those resteraunts are so good that we even would like to take train back to Pompei for dinner when we were in Sorrento.
Excellent breakfast. We were a group of six and the dinning room is small. I expected a simple breakfast with croissant and coffee. But the experience was totally beyond my expectation. The owners stood near the table and kept serving us hot tea, hot coffee, hot milk, ham, cheese and made eggs(six of us! one of us asked for scrambled egg, one of us preferred well-cooked and the others would like sunny side up.) I felt like having the breakfast in my grandma's home, warm, lovely, and generous. When we almost finished the breakfast, they bring from oven six warm croissants, probabaly homemade, since I had never such tasty croissants in Italy. The owners talked with us over breakfast like family and friends.
What else I liked? Cleanliness, location, design of the bathroom, hair dryer (normally B&B offered basic hair dryer but not here), the big bottle of iced sparking warter when we returned late in the evening........
Pompei is a small city. Normally tourists would not spend a night there. I thought just once in my life I chose to stay overnight and next time I would pay a one day visit. La Casa Di Plinio changed my mind. I would stay in Pompei again, and this b&b is my one and only choice.
