The Royal Continental is right on Naples' seafront promenade, in a quiet neighborhood. It features a stunning rooftop pool, with panoramic views out over the Bay of Naples and Castel dell'Ovo.

Attention to detail. The small things that make a difference: a drink of water and chocolate on arrival; lending a book and map about ruins and recommendations for ruins and restaurants all definitely enhanced our visit.
Purely personal as my husband loved the room, but I felt slightly claustrophobic as no windows.
We stayed only for one night. The hosts are very very helpful, they gave us a virtual tour and material prior to our visit of Pompei. Grazie Martina e Salvatore!
The family was extremely helpful and hospitable. They sat with us and gave us pointers for going through the ruins. They cooked a great breakfast in the morning. The property was well maintained and the suite was clean with great detail, vaulted ceilings, exposed rock and the cutest purple tile in the bathroom!
The only thing we didn't like was the cab driver that was called for us to take us back to the train station charged us 20 euro for a less than 10min drive. I'm not sure if the family knew that, but beware of shady cab drivers in Pompeii!
The owner Antonella, her son and especially her daughter Martina were extremely helpful and eager to give us all help and advise needed. They lent us an excellent guidebook of Pompeii and several maps, recommended best restaurants, ordered a lift to the restaurants. The room number 4 was clean, with a comfortable bed and fast Wi-Fi. We arrived by train and used GPS to walk about 1000 m of foot to this accommodation. It is close to the gate to Pompeii and the centre of the little town. Oh, excellent breakfast - plenty of food, attentive staff, wide choice of food and drink.
We liked everything!! Following points are only suggestions to improve or to consider for future guests: We stayed in October and so we would have enjoyed some slippers to make the movement on the tile floor more comfortable, also some shampoo, possibly a conditioner would have been very handy. Also we would choose different acommodation, if we travelled with children because we could hear everything the people in other rooms were saying and our little kinds might have a problém to fall asleep. However, this was no problem to us. We loved the place:-))
Super well equipped rooms recently renovated and tastefully decorated. Very helpful and friendly owners, Great breakfast, and the perfect location for Pompeii visits.
The staff are great. We were welcomed with a lovely cup of tea whilst the staff helped us to plan our stay. The breakfast is great with savoury and sweet options. Great coissants. The location is ideal for visiting the ruins of Pompeii. The staff helped us with restaurant recommendations and were very friendly to our young son. I would definitely stay there again
Hosts were lovely and room was clean and and large. We slept well. Our breakfast was very nice.
Wonderful breakfast! Managed to print my boarding card. Wi-fi even in room. Big rooms with nice WC. Very quiet.
Not that easy to find initially.
It is a great place to stay while you are in Pompeii. Family that runs the B&B is so great - they are very helpful, nice and they make the best breakfast! Room was very clean and nicely decorated, there is a car park and the place is a walking distance to the excavations. It's also close to the train station, so it makes it a great base to explore the rest of Campania. Highly recommended!
Well run family facility clean & comfortable friendly and willing to please
Nothing of consequence
The warm hospitality and scrupulously clean room. The WiFi was strong and password protected. Martina would make eggs for breakfast upon request - a rarity in Italy.
The only thing we saw as a negative was that there was only one small window in the room. We prefer bright rooms, but that stated, it is a personal preference.
From the moment we arrived until our departure we were looked after as if we were a member of the family, nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, spotlessly clean and the breakfast divine. Martina and Salvatori had an excellent knowledge of the area and were on hand to help with our planned trips and good places to eat. A big thank you to you all and a special thank you to their mother for the lovely packed breakfast on the morning of our departure and their father for getting us to the airport on a Sunday morning. This is definitely the place to stay if you are planning to visit Pompei.
The family who run La Casa Di Plinio were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The B&B is small but the room we had was quite large with a spare single bed and a table and chairs. Martina suggested we take our lunch to the excavation site as it is expensive to buy food inside. She provided utensils so we could do this, which turned out to be a great suggestion. The breakfast was excellent (could not eat it all!). We were provided with guide books and maps for the Pompeii excavation site and it was about a 5 minute walk to the entrance. A five minute walk in the other direction took us to the town where we ate each night. This is not luxury accommodation but is located perfectly, is very comfortable and great value. A taxi was called to take us to the station when we left. Great service. Would recommend.
Very friendly helpful hosts, nice rooms, parking and last but not least the best breakfast so far in italy!
Her tips for food were GREAT and we would not have found the restaurant without her hand drawn map!
Quite tricky to find even with iphone gps!
The friendly welcome of the staff Very good location for visiting Pompei Good quality of breakfast and service
Nothing special except a little bit of humidity in the room downstairs
The staff very helpful about everything Excellent breakfast Perfect location to ruins and restaurants
Small shower but not important
Nothing at all
Very clean (and I'm picky about cleanliness) and accommodating staff. They were very nice and helpful to answer questions. Breakfast was nice and the location is close to the train station and entrance to Pompeii.
Unfortunately, wifi in our room didn't work while we were there, only in the breakfast area and garden.
A perfect B&B. Good and fresh breakfast, lovely room, very nice decorated. Secure parking. The owners are very friendly and very helpful and they gave us a lot of advice and information about how and where to go in Pompei and around. They also recommended us great restaurants to eat. The B&B is very close to the Pompei Ruins. We loved it and we definitely recommend this place.
Very nice B & B close to the ancient Pompei area. Family also very welcome people.
Everybody here was extremely friendly and helpful. We were given a map and loads of top tips on our arrival! We would recommend this place and would definitely stay again if we visited pompeii.
The wifi did not work all the time, however we were offered the home laptop or tablet to use if we wanted.
The host family was very friendly and helpful. They provided us with all necessary information about Pompei and Naples: places of interest, touristic guides, best routes, and restaurants. They did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast time was flexible and your preferences were highly considered. The room was quite spacious and we found a small fridge very useful. We had own keys from the gates and the room had a personal entrance from the yard, so we were able to access it at any time. The location is very close to the ruins, town centre, and train station to Naples and Sorrento; also 3 minutes walk from local Carrefour supermarket.
The room had no windows, so due to lack of ventilation the humidity in the room was high and our towels were not getting dry all the time. Wi-Fi in the area was not working properly (literally no access in the room).
