Sonnino Suite features spacious, elegant rooms in Trastevere, Rome’s liveliest area, on the right bank of Tiber River. The B&B is near many restaurants and bars.

Overlooking one of the most picturesque squares in Trastevere, Hotel Domus Tiberina is next to one of Rome's most ancient bell towers.

The staff were great, very helpful and friendly even before arriving via mail. All very clean, loved the size of the bathroom. Everything was just great, especially the location, once you figured out the transport system
Very clean. Only 10' far from piazza venezia by tram.
Room is clean and confortable.
Location away from the main tourist spots Badly structured bathroom Bad Wi-fi
Location to transport options (tram, bus and train) was good. Hotel was also in easy walking distance to main attractions. The breakfast offered a reasonable selection of foods. Room was basic and clean.
Staff were not overly helpful or interested. Hotel located on busy street and I did find it very noisy.
The hotel was central and easily reachable by all kinds of transport. It was also walking distance away from t the American University of Rome (though a steep walk). Room was clean and really comfortable and clean towels were delivered everyday. In spite of some other reviews which suggested traffic noise I did not experience it. The Wi-Fi facility was also excellent. I will definitely stay here again in future.
I really missed an extra chair and extra table in my room as well as a small fridge.
Wifi and rooms very nice..
Woman Staff check in smile very limited..
Location, recently refurbished, decent size room and bathroom. Helpful reception Breakfast is OK for a continental breakfast
The slowest wifi I have ever used ever! It was basically unusable between about 4pm and 11am!
Great spot, very clean, very helpful, fulfilled all it said it would.
Lift took ages
We were going to take the Cruise from Chivittavechio (?) harbour and just needed a place to sleep between airport and harbor. The hotel is within walking distance from Trastevere station which was very convenient. A clean and functional room with the biggest bathroom ever.
I decided not to have breakfast when I saw that the breakfast room was in the cellar with a quite noisy TV. The decor is not at all as nice as you think when you see it on the web. Functional-nothing more.
Nice, and new Rooms.
Windows didn't block sound of street well. Even during night there was a decent noise level.
location was good to get to and from airport nice, clean, friendly, functional
20 min walking distance to the more rustic and charming parts of rome
- Good comfy bed - Nice, very clean bathroom - Friendly staff
- I hated the fact that the window had white, non transparent film (that lets the light through), and wouldn't open wide. There was no way to see what is behind the window (even if the view is terrible I would like to find out what is there). - The interior has somewhat "plastic" appearance, which doesn't fit to Rome at all. It seems like the interiors are global design, deployed to all B&B hotels with no local specifics respected. That was not nice.
Location was perfect, only 5 minds walk to Trastevere station and 25 mins to the bars and restaurants.
There was no real wardrobe in the room. That was a bit strange.
The hotel staff were efficient and very helpful. The breakfast staff were also friendly and helpful.
The bed room was okay but there was some traffic noise if one leave the window open.
A very clean hotel with large rooms and a tram stop right outside the front door providing easy access to the attractions.
Wifi was slow sometimes but not a big deal. .
Handy location and the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They also spoke perfect English.
The quality/lack of maintenance of the room on second (red) floor was disgraceful.
Easy access from the airport to the hotel, modern & new decoration.
Very noisy building, you could hear neighbours talking and noises from other rooms (doors closing, making loud noises). Not recommendable for sensitive sleepers.
Good modern hotel in convenient local area. Quality airport transfer
Reception area very small & overcrowded
Location and staff. Close to tram
Great breakfast for the price, more variety than I usually find in medium-priced hotels.
Good location just by the tram stop, also a walking distance from Trastevere railway station. Very clean and modern hotel.
Wifi didn't work in the evening. Every time you want to connect it asks login and password..again and again.
The location, ambiance, comfort and the friendliness of the staff.
One thing only: the internet connection is very slow to be of any use. Certainly this needs to be looked at.
One night in Rome very close to train station and direct line from airport, after a busy day of sight seeing tram 8 stopped right outside. Quite clean rooms, breakfast was ok but nothing fancy, we would skip breakfast if staying here again but hotel is good value for money
The staff at reception are delightful. They speak English, are incredibly courteous and are very helpful in providing local directions. They always greeted us with a friendly smile. Location is great with tram stop at door providing access to many locations. Nightlife/dining in Trastevere is amazing.
Most basic room I have ever stayed in. No wardrobe, no drawers, no fridge, no kettle. You get a disposable plastic cup to drink water out of the bathroom sink. Frosted glass windows provide privacy from surrounding buildings but you cannot see outside. Cannot spend much time in the room as it is very depressing. I doubt very much that I would ever stay here again.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location, with a good choice of public transportations at hand, both from/to the airport and to the main places to visit. Comfortable hotel at a very reasonable price, I'd strongly suggest it.
