- Good location, close to historical centre - Tall, clean rooms - Host speaks English
- Traffic was noisy at night, I had to put my headphones on to sleep - Breakfast a bit sugar-heavy, no meat
Huge apartment Interior Breakfast Price Location Window view. Even though there is one bathroom for 3 rooms, it is very big. I would highly recommend this accommodation!
wifi signal a bit weak in the corner room, but no password and perfect connection in the corridor and kitchen.
I really liked my room, it was very big and cosy. Clean and nice kitchen, fruit, cakes, tea, coffee, etc. available all the time. No noise which I expected. A wonderful location near Vatican, St.Pietro and Hall of Justice. A great place to walk around in the evening. A bargain for a solo traveller, who doesn't need too much service, but prefers being on his or her own.
You must give the host the exact time of your arrival otherwise you can get into trouble. I had to help kind of check in a guest who was late, because there was no one except for me to let this guest in.
The location was good. Very quiet and yet pretty close to the town center. There was a adequate variety for breakfast and the common bathroom was not realy a problem.
We only saw Juliano the first day for the check in. He gave us a number in case of an emergency but since we didnt have a phone with us we couldn't call. We expected to see him around sometime but we didn't. The window in the room didn't open so for 3 days there was no fresh air in the room. Besides that everything was ok!
Galliano was great and helpful. The room was large, kitchen was great and bathroom was large. Location was also excellent. Many things were easily in walking distance and everything else was accessible by subway! I highly recommend this place!
Wi-Fi was spotty.
This B&B is fantastic! Excellent location close to the Vatican City. Beautifully decorated large rooms and a kitchen with breakfast ready for you when you wake up! Shared bathroom but not a problem for us. We will stay here again when next in Rome !
Great location Very cosy All in all quiet
Breakfast was too basic
Large beautiful clean room, comfortable bed, air conditioned. Slept so well ! Very clean bathroom and kitchen areas. Breakfast was provided with good selection of fruits and drinks in a well laid out fashion. 3 min walk from the Vatican main square. Helpful and prompt owner Giuliano ! If I am back in Rome, I am sure I will be there again !
Not really anything. Maybe the single large bathroom but its not really a concern.
It was a relief to be so welcomed and to have a lovely room with quality old furniture and to be told to help myself to fruit and yogurt in the fridge. Sharing the bathroom one already knows about. It wasn't a problem at all, it just meant you had a huge bathroom in stead something pokey. Having free run of a lovely cared for kitchen was like being at home.
To criticise would seem inappropriate because of the generosity of the owner. No home is perfect.
The house is very well take cared, people nice, good breakfast. Great place.
Friendly, welcoming & relaxed
The staff is very nice and helpful.
There is only a shared bathroom
Absolutely perfect location- about 500m from Vatican city, 500m from st. Angels castle and still in very quiet location. Rooms very clean and comfortable!
Very nice B&B apartment; we will come back for sure! Value for money - excellent!
I love the proximity to different monuments and sites. 10 min walk from St-Peters Basilica, 45 min walk from the colosseum. We didn't have to take the metro. It was always clean and the owner made a pretty breakfast every day. It is close to a little store where we can buy the necessities like wine, pasta and so forth. I would totally recommence this place to anyone who wants to visit Rome. And there is a really awesome gelato places near the B&B. Best one we have tasted so far!
The room is not soundproof so if you are a light sleeper, you should bring earplugs for the noise of sirens outside sometimes at night.
Excellent location, very close to the Vatican. It felt safe when walking back late at night. Price, seen the price of accommodation in Rome. General cleanliness.
Major downside from our perspective: although very clean, there is only 1 bathroom shared among all (3) the rooms. It happened several times we had to wait as it was busy. Maybe this was stated somewhere in the description, not sure, anyways had we known this we would not have booked here.
Guiliano was waiting for us when we arrived, very nice and friendly. It was a perfect place to discover Rome by foot.
It was very clean and its location was perfect, walking distance to Vatican. The kitchen had everything we needed, the breakfast was quite good.
We loved Serafino very much!
The room and the rest of the apartment are utterly classy, and are beautifully kept by the owner, Giuliano, who was a friendly and gracious host (also English-speaking, which is rarer than you would imagine in Rome). The room was decorated with style, and was quiet at night, as well as being air conditioned, so I slept incredibly well every night. The breakfast options were excellent, and everything was neatly laid out the night before by Giuliano. The other guests were mostly younger couples and utterly charming - great conversations were often had in the kitchen. A truly beautiful B&B.
There was nothing that I didn't like, although sharing a bathroom with the occupants of two other rooms means that sometimes you have to wait a little bit.
The owner is a total responsible person, taking really good care from the guest! Really good location, confortable, clean and beautiful room.
Very clean, good location
For me best hotel in Rome! Like home.
A lovely old property in a block of flats that was sensitively decorated with lovely quirky touches. Very laid back and generous approach. Do it yourself breakfast was amply provided. Perfect base.
We liked everything about the place. The owner not only had easy going personality but also was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend the place. Clean, stylish apartment with everything a traveler might need from fridge and washing machine to high speed Internet and comfortable beds.
One of the night was noisy outside. I think the council was emptying rubbish during that night. It didn't bother us all that much as we were extremely tired after visiting The Vatican(BTW it is only 3 min away by walking).
