Beautiful gardens, great pool. Convenient parking, excellent breakfast.

Neither of owners spoke English. Only one restaurant in village, closes Weds.difficult to find places to eat. Had to drive back to coast.

Vito & his wife are very kind people who welcome you in their house: spacious rooms and a big swimming pool in a delightfully quiet area. You can also pick your own fruit in the beautiful garden. It's an oasis of repose, a marvellous holiday location.

You will gain weight as Vito makes his own dolci (= dessert cakes) for breakfast :-)

Ideally situated for exploring the Salentine peninsula. The owners were excellent - helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Home made breakfasts were absolutely excellent as was fruit from the garden. On arrival booked us a table at a local restaurant, La Voce del Mare, which was good value and excellent food. Outdoor pool was excellent and had it to ourselves on several occasions. Room really good size for family of 4, with children of 10 yrs and 13 yrs. Easy to get to many of the local sagra - festivals - where could eat really cheaply and sample the local culinary delights. Would highly recommend.

Honest people at the hotel (while don't speak English), clean rooms and nice smell inside the building around the corridors. In general basic B&B for one of the cheapest prices around the area.

Most of the rooms are below the ground with too much humidity and just a small electric window facing the ground floor. No proper wardrobe in the room. The first impression of the hotel when we arrived at late afternoon was that it was an abandoned building from the outside. The pool was full of flies and the breakfast very poor. The Tiggiano village doesn't offer something special so you just need to use it as a base for visiting other villages or sites around the area.
