I liked everything, the breakfast, the room, the environment. The staff were fantastic and very polite. The clean in the room is fantastic. The restaurant is amazing and they have a lot of options and you will not regret if you take one night to have dinner there.

The building is wonderful. From the medieval period, it has thick walls and beautifully plastered ceilings. I loved coming 'home' after my walks to the little piazza, opening the door and climbing the atmospheric stairs inside.
Location is also great. Right in the historic centre of Tivoli opposite the cathedral. Train station and busses to Villa Adriana are within easy walking distance.
Residenza Carlandi Tivoli offers accommodations in Tivoli, 19 miles from Università La Sapienza and 19 miles from Tiburtina Metro Station.

We stayed for 3 nights at Residenza Carlandi and highly recommend it. The front door is only steps from the center of Tivoli, a completely charming town, and a short walk to Villa D’Este. The rooms are superb with modern fixtures in a 16th century building. Sleeping under a 500 year old ceiling fresco by Zucchari is amazing. The proprietor Marco could not be more helpful and welcoming: guide and concierge just for starters. We immediately felt like old friends coming for a visit and not like guests at a bed and breakfast. Outstanding.
Il Colle b&b provides air-conditioned rooms in Tivoli. Among the facilities at this property are luggage storage space and daily room service, along with free Wifi throughout the property.

Great location, attentive hosts, and generous breakfast. Perfect for a weekend. Easy walk to the train.
Great access to town and countryside. Tivoli has lots of character and amazing views, plenty of places to eat and shop, and to immerse yourself in true Italian culture.
I'd recommend the Villa d'Este and Villa Adriana (Hadrian's Villa), both of which can be done in one day, although allow more time for the latter, and bring a packed lunch as there are no catering facilities.

Tivoli is a great town outside of Rome. If you are looking for old character, charm, and beautiful gardens, you have found your spot. Food was great at all locations. I would recommend spending a lot of time Villa di Este.

The park of Villa Gregoriana has stunning views of the waterfalls and is a must natural attraction when visiting Tivoli.
Villa D'Este is a magnificent example of the Italia Villas of the Renaissance, with its beautiful gardens and many fountains.
These two locations and the overall historical city area are easily reachable all within walking distance. The historic downtown also offer many eating alternatives.
Villa Adriana is one of the most majestic archeological sites of the Roman Empire, truly impressive in its scale and content.
Plan for a three nights stay in order to have two full days to visit the city.

Wonderful area to explore and use as a base to visit Rome.
Wonderful area to explore and use as a base to visit Rome. Fly into Ciampino. Public transport and parking is good. Prepare to walk up hill on occasions in town. Villa d'este well worth a visit BUT beware of payment on entry. (See Tip) Driving can be either exciting or challenging. Make sure if you go on the toll roads you understand how they work and how to pay. Local food is really reasonably priced if you choose well. "Botega del Grano" is an excellent choice in Tivoli.

Tivoli is a great location especially if you have previously visited Rome. It is much cheaper than Rome for food and drink and the quality of food is very good. For example we visited a restaurant in Rome for lunch - a restaurant we had previously visited - cost for lunchtime pasta for four with four beers and two Aperol Spritz 107 Euro's. Night time meal in Tivoli at a restaurant specializing in food from Tuscany for starters, meat main courses, six beers and 4 Aperol Spritz cost 117 Euro's.
Tivoli offers easy access to Rome via Train. To be honest having visited Rome before was disappointed with how expensive it has become, entry to alot of the venue's had massively increased in price and hour long queues. Also found the city very dirty.

If you like quaint rustic italy, this is for you, gorgeous scenery, lots to do but do homework first as if you do not have a car, the public transport needed a recky first. Not all cafes open on a Monday, but when they are the food is lovely and very reasonably priced. Taverna de Dracula is a must fir romanian cuisine
The central position in the old city centre; being hosted in a Renessaince building preserving the original marble stairs (even if they show evident signs of time). The mirror was embedded in what it must have been an authentic marble door frame. The studio offered all the modern comforts, including the luxurious feather mattress and a glorious view of the bustling Tivoli vecchia. Closeness to public transports and to the Unesco World Heritage Site - Villa D'Este.
Loved everything about our stay. The rooms were very comfortable we actually loved it so much that we booked it again on our way back down from the Amalfi coast the second one we had was just a little bit bigger but the beds were comfortable clean Lorenzo was amazing and accommodating giving us recommendations for dinner and exploring the town of Tivoli is beyond our expectations. We are already planning a return trip.
Great location - close to Villa D' Este and centrum. Old house. great rooms. Good value.
We decided to stay 3 nights in Tivoli and see the historical sites and enjoy Italy. All was excellent.
First of all Luca. He gave us very useful information before we arrived. He was there all the time and informed us how to travel within the city, tips about good places to eat. Even took our heavy luggage ........
We had a very pleasant stay in the beautiful town Tivoli. The host is very kind, helpful, we got assistance with finding a parking place, and a discount in the restaurant which he recomended. He also prepared us small breakfast snaks, watter, tea and coffee. The room was awesome, big, clean and well furnitured with a very comfortable bed. Once we come back for sure!
Stunning views over looking Rome and Hadrians Villa. Opening our windows in the morning and evening was just spectacular!
Our hosts were amazing and the property was perfect.
Easy access into Tivoli township. We were driving so found it easier to drive to train station in Tivoli and catch the train into Rome. Clean and tidy and very helpful hosts.
The apartment was clean, tidy, and comfortable enough for our short stay (kitchen is a little too small for preparing dinner). It's very well located too. Francesco was welcoming, very helpful with places to see and do around Tivoli, and with free parking nearby. We really appreciated the Smart TV available as well.
Everything! The host was a attentive, charming and a warm welcome to Tivoli, including helping us out with a ride from the train station! (We realized after what a easy, short walk it was from the train to the Castillo B&B.) Delicious homemade breakfast treats and attentive care for all our needs.
Great cozy place in the old town of Tivoli and really clean.
Chiara helped us with all the details and even provided some recommendations for great restaurants in Tivoli.
Parking are available near, make sure you discuss with Chiara before arriving
Best Wi-fi in Italy after 2 weeks travel :D
We enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Maggiore. Our hosts, Monica and Marco, were exceptionally accommodating! We enjoyed all that Tivoli has to offer and in addition the towns in the surrounding areas. Breakfast was good and especially our morning cappuccinos! Thank you both for a delightful stay.
The apartment is spacious and clean, the rooms have a good size and the beds are very comfortable. The location is great because it's on a quiet street but in the centre of tivoli so walking distance from all attractions, bars restaurants, and also close to the main parking of the town.
Well located in the old part of Tivoli, an easy walk to restaurants and to the train. We were met promptly by the manager and introduced to the place. As it was a cold day we appreciated the heat system and the small but efficient kitchen with a tea/coffee maker. Cozy!
Very charming. Host was most helpful in trying to locate the windbreaker I lost at Hadrian's Villa. Love the location in the Old Town part of Tivoli. Be sure to have dinner at Li Somari. Excellent food with creativity and perfect execution.
The house is clean, it has an equipped kitchen and a lovely garden. The location is good, visited both Rome by bus (45 minute drive) and Tivoli.
Marilena was very friendly and helpful.
Good value for the money.
Very nice accommodation and great location, we really enjoy it, despite of no internet at the time, no part of door in a shower, we really recommend it. Tivoli is wonderful place.
Hotel convenient to motorway exit with free parking. Nice garden, lovely swim pool: restaurant & bar inside & out.
Good size bedroom & en suite.
Pleasant staff.
