B&B Isonzo

I loved the atmosphere and the warm welcome & hospitality of the owner. He is very flexible and will bake delicious cookies for you! I loved the look / colors / atmosphere / style of the rooms and bathrooms, too.

We enjoyed b & b Isonzo very much. Host/Tiziano was extremely friendly and informative about the area, Italy and the culture of Italians. We loved our time there, it was welcoming, warm, cosy and really a "home from home". We highly recommend this b & b! WiIl never stay anywhere else if in the area again. Rob & Linda Gaddi

The trench is glamorous but cold

I travel a lot for business and normally never book BNB's, but this was truly one of my best experiences. I only stayed for 1 night, but I can well imagine coming back again for a longer period. The host and son of the owner, is wonderful. He picks you up from the airport. His wife prepares great food. The house is more like a hotel than a BNB and is big enough to have your privacy. The rooms are in amazing condition and very nice decorated. In addition the house is build on a bunker from the first World War and the area is surrounded by history as the host will be happy to tell you about.

Although we stayed for 1 night the room was really nice and the welcome was warm, I liked the breakfast and the owner was very helpfull.

The apartman is located on a top of a WW I. bunker, with many historical relics in it.Tiziano suggested a sea-food restaurant that was very great and we got special price just because we were guest of this apartment. Btw if you need some information about Trieste or any place in that area the best source is to ask him.

It was difficult to find the apartman for first. If you would like to eat non-sweet breakfast, please call or send email to apartman before.

Free Wifi, nothing much else.

1) Tiny room and bathroom. 2) Small size makes it uncomfortable to move around, dress etc. Hotel says it provides free shuttle service from airport which I did not need, but charges EUR15 for the shuttle back to the airport, just 4 minutes away at most. The description is misleading on the Booking.com side. 3) Like many B&B's, no restaurant facilities are available

De aanbeveling voor een restaurant in Grado viel tegen. Zeker geen slecht restaurant, maar (lang) niet zo goed als gesuggereerd.

Very nice family room, very nice Patron, he is very helpful, super friendly and a very cosy house in a cosy and quiet area.

I chose this B&B to be close to the Trieste airport for an early departure the next day. I strongly recommend this place: Excellent accommodations, very quiet, and a great price. The owner and her son were very helpful in getting me set up with a taxi for the next morning and providing advice. While you're there, go to La Barrada del Pesce, the fish restaurant: really fresh seafood from the Adriatic at family prices (15 EUR for dinner, with two courses, wine, and coffee). They even lent me a bike for a pleasant ride over to the restaurant.

After a troublesome journey we appreciated a lot the warm welcome of our host. We received food and drinks even at around midnight. Clean and quiet room, very nice people. We felt very well taken care of...

I would highly recommend this b & B. It is clean, modern, friendly and comfortable. A bit difficult to find, but it is well worth it. It is a block off the main street, so it is quiet, and in a very nice neighborhood. Our private bathroom was as nice as any 5 star hotel'S. We enjoyed learning the history of the area and the ww1 bunker that the house is built on. I would definitely stay here again.

Perhaps one of the nicest small hotels that have used in a long time! The host was extremely friendly, very accommodating, and offered much information on the area, from dinner recommendations to winery and local attraction information. We stayed in a family room which was composed of two separate bedrooms, each with a terrace and with a large and spa style bathroom which was very nice. The breakfast room for the b&b is located in the basement/former World War bunker which had been completely re-done and is very well welcoming. A small display of wwi artifacts in on display. A fire was waiting for us in the installed fireplace and breakfast was simple but very good. Overall, it was a great stay in a smaller town, but centrally located to see and do many things in the area. We would have stayed longer if the schedule allowed.

Nothing negative comes to mind. I would recommend the b&b Isonzo to anyone.

Das Frühstück besteht im wesentlichen aus Mehlspeisen-gut aber nicht jedermanns Sache.

Squisite l'accoglienza e l'ospitalità di Tiziano, una vera miniera di informazioni, suggerimenti, itinerari su un territorio che conosce palmo a palmo.. Un personaggio unico, ironico e factotum (prepara personalmente un magnifico strudel, rifà le stanze lasciandovi piccole sorprese come ovetti di cioccolato...). Indimenticabile!

L'ambiente è molto accogliente e confortevole. La stanza dove abbiamo soggiornato era un pò piccola, ma arredata con molto buon gusto e attenzione ai particolari, come tutta la struttura del resto. La colazione è curata e ci ha proposto specialità della zona. L'accoglienza del proprietario è stata molto cordiale ed anche molto utile per i preziosi consigli ed informazioni che ci ha dato per visitare al meglio la città di Trieste e la zona limitrofa. Se dovessimo ritornare da quelle parti sceglieremo sicuramenti di soggiornare al B&B Isonzo.
