The location is wonderful, on top of a mountain: atmospher is very relaxing. Mrs. Angela is extremely kind and helpful. She welcomed us in the early afternoon with tea and biscuits. She gave us suggestions for excursions in the nature and in the nearest villages like Castegnone. Bedroom is extremely comfortable and clean. For dinner we ordered very good pizza which was delivered us directly in bedroom. I spent with my girlfriend a very nice and romantic night, watching cartoons on TV under warm blankets. We could even watch fireworks from the window, coming from a near village. In the morning the breakfast was extremely rich and good, with typical local products. Extremely good value for money, we will come back there soon.
The host, Angela, was very welcoming and hospitable. The room was comfortable, clean, attractive. The setting, in the mountains, was majestic.
Too remote and far from any sightseeing. If you want a place to relax, removed from the hustle and bustle, this is the place.
The lovely warm welcome by Angela the B&B owner. Followed by Two pieces each of her homemade Apricot tart, despite us arriving later than planned at 9.30 in the evening. The next day we took up Angela's offer to show us around the neighbourhood. She did all the driving and refused to take anythjng towards fuel costs. We opted for the evening meal which turned out to be every bit as enjoyable and typical of the region as most of the breskfast. The soup was made with her garden produce. It was great the way we could get a,little glimpse into rural Italy. Although we speak no Italian and Angela's English is limited, with a bit of French thrown in we were able to communicate well enough. My daughter and I had a lovely time and I wish we could have stayed longer but we had already made other plans
Having to say goodbye.
Everything was perfect: the scenery, the rooms decoration, the homemade food. But the real treasure of the place is the hostess Angela. She is nice and helpful, an excellent cook and has great sense of humour. She also has a doggy called Pipa, young kids would love it! In the morning you can hear the cow bells and the church bells. Seems like a paradise on earth. One thing to bear in mind - the house is on the top of a hill, so schedule your trip in the daylight. Whatever you think of mountain roads, it is worth the drive! Learn Italian!
The idyllic location of this B&B makes it ideal if you want to relax in some peace and quiet. The owner is also very welcoming, helpful and willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. She offered to cook us lunch when we arrived which we appreciated a lot as we were tired and didn't feel like driving back down the hill. She is also lovely with the children.
Nothing really although the fact that the area is very secluded means that you have to drive for 5-10 minutes to get to the nearest shops/restaurants, some of which have very strange opening hours (eg some closed on Sunday evening). The owner will help you in finding good restaurants though.
The location is amazing, the owner is sweet and very helpful, and is willing to help with whatever you need , the views are stunning, the room is comfortable and spotless clean, the breakfast is homemade and great. We had a fabulous time and will gladly return.
The view is amazing... Mountains all around, fresh air and so quiet. The host - Angela - is incredible, a very kind and friendly woman.
We hadn't tv in the room.
Parpaet is a lovely little village in the mountains above Zogno. I enjoyed the location. Angela was a warm and hospitable hostess.
The location is very nice - clean, calm, distant, beautiful nature. the personel is friendly and nice. Great place to stay!
Great hospitallity. Mrs Angela is excellent host! The place is nice, the food is marvelous.
Perfect place, spectacular view, very friendly host!
A wonderful and romantic location with mountain tops you can almost touch. Angela is a great host, served us delicious breakfast and dinners. She is very open and worm person who made our stay more wonderful. La Casa di Parpaet is a perfect place to stay for those who want to relax, breath fresh mountain air and eat local specialities. It is also a very nice place for kids - ours were happy running and playing with dogs. They also loved Angela's pasta with tomatoes.
Angela, the hostess in incredible. So helpful, so friendly, and a wonderful cook! We felt so at home with her and so well taken care of. The room was spotless and well furnished - another touch that made us feel right at home! Although we were there on 2 very foggy days, we could certainly tell that we were in the middle of some beautiful scenery!! We woke up to the faint sound of cow bells and nature - our son was in awe!
A bit tough to get too because of the winding roads, so come during daylight - but worth the drive!!
beautiful view even when foggy. clean and tidy place, and the room was heated well. Angela was a wonderful host and even offered to cook us dinner. And the goats and dogs were very hospitable!
the place is lovely and welcoming, but the setting is pretty basic for the cost.
Romantic setting on top of the hill and a breathtaking mountain view. We had a very clean and tastefully decorated family room which consisted of 2 bedrooms (double and twin) with private entrances and bathrooms with a shower. Most comfortable beds! In the evening upon our request Angela cooked for us a most delicious dinner with all you can wish for, very abundant. We and our small children enjoyed it and a conversation with Angela a lot! It was so pleasant to walk around, listen to church bell music and cow bells. Children could feed the little goats, play with the dogs and see cows. The weather was cold, but it was very warm inside and you could tune the temperature to your own needs! There was a kettle, cups and a big variety of tasty teas in the room. We stayed overnight on the way to Orio Al Serio, so could not see the surrounding area well. But the forest looked magic, Zogno seemed like a charming place and Bergamo was near. We want to come again!
A bit longer way to the airport than expected, but the place was VERY MUCH worth it.
