Il Covo B&B is set in the pretty neighborhood of Monti in the heart of the historic center. Take a short stroll down to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.

Patrizia greeted us very well. She informed us about anything we need to know in Rome. The location of the hotel is very good. decoration of the rooms are relly amazing.
The bed is a little bit uncomfortable.
- nice room (quite small) - breakfest (in the room) - bath
- Hard to find the hotel (just a small banner next to the door) - Our flight was delayed, so we called that we arrive in Rome after midnight, we arranged that we arrive around 1 a.m., lady told of us there will be someone waiting for us (fee € 20). Mrs recommended us to take a taxi. We decided to go by bus to Termini (taxi was too expensive for us 40 €) and then we walk (the hotel is really a 15 minute from the station, but it takes almost an hour to find). when we called at 2 a.m. we finally found it, Mrs. P. told us, that we do not ring and we have to leave, because we arrived late and that nobody expects us already. I was really about to cry. We spent the night in the streets of Rome, looking for accommodation in another hotels, but they were all fully booked or closed. Walking on dirty streets (and everywhere smelled urine ...) we met strange people, the number of homeless people... Rome welcomed us really magnificent. We did not sleep all night, when the subway opened in the morning, we drove to the center and viewed at least some monuments. - Bed was not much
The staff, Patrizia and Jane, were great! Tidy rooms, in great condition, quiet and comfortable. Location was okay for metro, and a 15-20min walk to Colloseum. Would definitely stay again.
Good location, which provided easy access to the metro and trams. Within easy walking distance to the Forum etc. The room was extremely clean and well appointed. Good value for money.
Nothing really, my room opened onto the courtyard, which could get noisy in the evening. I didn't really consider this a negative point though, for it added to my wonderful experience of the glorious city that is Rome.
Great location, fabulous room (ideal for us - we got married in Rome and had the first few days of our honeymoon there). The cafe breakfast was also great. Patrizia and Jane (and Ernesto the dog!) were so lovely and even left us a bottle of bubbly and a beautiful card in our room, they couldn't have been more helpful overall and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending Baci da Roma to our friends thinking of visiting Rome.
Everything was great!
Good shower plenty hot water well decorated room but that where it stops.
Very noisy from road traffic. Window did not open so there for shutters shut all the time so room very dark . Air con not working. Not an nice area with homeless sleeping in court yard which had a locked door from street so not the nicest place to come back to at night. Coffee machine in entrance for customers use but no cups so could not have coffee a kettle in room would have been better. Bed not comfortable. Would not return to area not goid value for the money. Breakfast coffee cold every morning in cafe
-excellent service -good location -value for money
The staff team was very nice and helpful. Easy communication by english languages. Clean rooms-privacy.
stuff were kind and helpful
It was an apartment, flat projected and pretended to be a designed hotel. It was like renting a room of a little flat. Miniature rooms are endeavored to keep every inch as living space. It was not so hard to splatter your bed while getting shower. There is only one step between your bed and cuvette. So keep in mind the magnifying effects of pictures in evaluation.
Good location: 10 min to metro Manzoni, 20 min to Termini station by foot. Many restaurants and shops around. Nice design and size of the room. Hospitile staff.
Wi-fi is not working in the room. There are just few cookies and coffee for breakfast, served in your room. If you arive much later then 22.00, you will be asked to pay 20 eur.
Design of hotel, owner.
Gate wasn't look good.
I and my boyfriend have stayed there for 3 days, at the beginning of our trip. First of all, from the first day of our reservation to the check- in time, the manager Patrizia sent us very explanatory e-mails about the directions to the hotel as well as reminding the reservation time to us. Jane, the service woman, welcomed us in a very kind way and gave brief information about the hotel's facilities. Both of them can speak English very well. Furthermore, the room was very well-decorated. It was exactly the same room with the photos that we saw from the internet. We felt very comfortable and peaceful. Besides, our room was cleaned every day. Coffee machine in the lounge room was another advantage. There were 4 or 5 rooms in the hotel in total, but there was no person except us during our staying. So, we felt like at home. We could sit in the lounge room with our pyjamas because we were alone. It is also at 10 minutes walk distance from the Termini station (or 2-3 station by bus). It takes 15-20 minutes to walk to Colloseum. The metro station has 3 minute walk distance to the hotel. By metro, you may arrive at Spagna or Barberini station where you may find several cafes, bars, and historical monuments after 3 or 4 station. So, it is quite close to the city center, but not exactly at the heart of the city center.
The wi-fi connection did not work well in the room so we had to move to the lounge room in order to use the internet. It is quite close to the city center, but not exactly at the heart of the city center.
Lovely interior, friendly staff (speaks English very well too!), conveniently located at the city centre.
WiFi didn't work very well in our room. Works best in the lounge area.
