Great location, great place, great staff. Bruno is great as well.
Two flights of stairs with luggage
Wad had the separate self contained apartment. Very doog for two people, clean, tidy and very handy to most attractions especially the Ponte Vecchio.
Wi-Fi was really slow.
This B&B is family owned and the owner was really friendly and kind. Rooms are clean. The location was pretty good. Walk distance to almost all major histrical site and SMN train st.
Shower needed some cleaning and maintenance, the coffee was variable in temperature and the doors/locks were a bit noisy at night but I am struggling here as everything was so good.
Bruno and his staff all worked hard to make us feel welcome in what felt more like their lovely home than a B&B. Bruno's cakes were the highlight of a good breakfast before a day spent in the city, which is literally on the doorstep. Despite that, it was mostly peaceful and quiet - a relaxing home-from-home after the tourist-packed bustle of the city sights.
Location was excellent - 3 minutes from the Duomo and Palazza Signorini. Bruno was an excellent host; nothing was too much trouble for him- friendly, helpful and very kind. Room, very clean and comfortable; faced inner courtyard which meant no noise! so very good sleep each night even though in the very centre of the city.
Wifi did not work properly
Bruno was very warm and made us feel at home, was quick to help in anyway he could.
A bit cramped. Carrying our bags up three flights of steps.
The owner Bruno - couldn't do enough for us.
We rented a room for 4 adults and it looked ok on the picture. Unfortunately the room was too small and could barely contain the beds, there were no convenient wardrobe and not room to fit our luggages, the bathroom was extra small and the beds very unconfortable! Should probably be only a 2 beds-room.
The landlord (Bruno) has been very nice and charming and the house in itself is beautiful and extremely well located.
The bathrooms are a bit small for comfort, and the wifi was inconsistent. Also, the large set of stairs leading to the entrance can be big hassle with luggage in hand.
Bruno, the heart of the establishment, was welcoming and very friendly. He had wonderful hospitality and was willing to help and assist in every way. The availability of a refridgerator with water, soft drinks and other items was extremely convenient. There was a wonderful selection for a small breakfast in the morning with fresh coffee. It felt intimate, warm and personable.
Bruno doesn't speak very good English.
Bruno tries very hard to make the stay pleasant.
You have to climb a whole lot of stairs to get up to the B&B but it wasn't a problem for us as we were travelling light.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, advising the best places to visit (we were only in Florence for one day), directing us to our room and showing us the facilities. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was great for the main sights and excellent value for money. Staff are on hand at breakfast to serve coffee and make toast etc, very welcoming environment. There is a "communal mini-bar" where you can help yourself to free tea and coffee and a fridge stocked with water, beers, drinks and wines which are chargeable via an honesty list, the prices are quite reasonable.
Its impossible to sleeo there. I was in a studio, 2 blocks from ponte vecchio. People every day until 2 am screaming and laughing, drinking there. Its not a good place to rest.
The apartment was confortable.
The wi-fi wasn't working properly all days.
Good location, the studio was located close to the Piti Palace (not on the building of Hotel Badia Fiorentina), 5 minutes walking to Vecchio Bridge. The room was located at a silence neighborhood, with a balcony to the street (but without a view to the Arno's river). The staff was friendly and the tips and suggestion were very helpful.
Nothing at all, the stay was great.
The location and Bruno were fantastic, if definitely stay again next time I was in Florence. The breakfast is your typical European breakfast of pastries and cereals, Bruno was a lovely host who spoke pretty good English. He showed us a map with all the great sites in Florence. The location is right in the centre of it all, step out the door and you're ready to get out and explore. We went to Pisa from here but should have stayed longer and gone to cinque terre for the day as well.
The single bed is a bit soft for my daughter and it dips in the centre. Also it would be nice to get 2 pillows each although we did not request then.
Bruno is indeed a star, he was very welcoming upon our arrival and made sure we have everything we need and that we like our room. He is always around at breakfast and attends to all guests personally, a true wonderful host. The place has a warm and homely feel with many nice art decorating the walls including his own. The location is really central and we walked everywhere. The main queen sized bed is comfortable. And wifi is very strong after given a fix by ever-helpful Bruno.
Apartment! I thought i would stay in a hotel!
Bruno, We loved every moment about staying at Badia Fiorentina. From Bruno's warm friendly welcome as soon as we walked in to his helpful tips about the area. There is nothing better then a personal feel when going away and he made us feel like family. We loved seeing him in the morning making breakfast and engaging in friendly conversation as we drank caffe. Very very clean rooms with fresh crisp white sheets and spacious clean bathrooms. An amazing bed and breakfast right in the heart of Florence. Can't wait to stay there again !! Love you Bruno !
Close to main attractions, supermarket,shops.
Wifi was advertised and expected, but did not work. Tiny bed, tiny room, tiny shower. If you have a car, the options are limited, A parking service needed to drop us off and pick us up.
The owner and operator, Bruno was a wonderful man. The location was great.
It's a bit noisy especially when motorbikes pass by on the small narrow street below.
It's a very central location. Very convenient for many of the key sites in Florence. It has a small kitchen area that is well equipped for basic cooking. A great cost saving feature in a very expensive city.
