Good rooms. Very fine swimming-pool. Variety in breakfast and big interval (07.30-10.00). Pretty patio in the middle of the baglio to have breakfast, althought there were many mosquitoes at night. So difficult to reach the first time. It was at night and only a little signpost on the road, seen because we had to stop on a semaphore, if not, nobody knows the time to arrive...The worst is the lack of personal seems to be on the restaurant, with very big timeouts to set the order (30 mins), to serve (25 mins) and with mistakes (only the waiter, the waitress was clever): sparkling not natural water, main course before antipasto, finally cold meal because of the change...And you have no more options to have dinner in 30 kms around.

Baglio Donna Franca looks like an incredible spring-Fall resort that is beautifully situated in the heart of a vineyard. During the winter the place is empty which could be fun but seemed strange. I am unsure if they should have been accepting overnight guests. Water was not warm and I believe I paid for breakfast and was told I had not - might have been my mistake, but since it is in the middle of no where, I think I would have wanted breakfast. They did provide it and were gracious about it,, but I did have to pay. My suggestion is that it is wonderful March-Nov. place to stay with wonderful vistas and a lovely hotel. They do make great wine so that is worth a visit in itself.

Fantastic location in the countryside with great views across the sea. The facilities are superb and the rooms very large and comfortable. The dining room is very good and the food outstanding. The staff was very helpful and very competent. Highly recommended. Not easy to find unless you are luck enough to spot the signs. The gps was not accurate enough to get there.

An amazing place with a wow effect, an old vinemaking place turned into hotel and restaurant, in the middle of vinyards. Free parking, however make sure you have gps or good maps in order to find it, as it is in the middle of nowhere which actually ads charm to it. It has big swimming pool, excellent choice for bfast, huge stylish rooms and huge bathroom, we regretted we could not stay more than 1 night. Definitely worth staying longer!

Very professional staff, great service. Charming decoration. Hotel located very far from everything. Surroundings are not very pleasant, although the hotel itself is high class. Unfortunately the restaurant was disappointing -some dishes were not even edible! The quality from one dish to another varied enourmously, which happens rarely in this price range of hotels.

This hotel is perfect for relaxing. Its location, in the middle of vineyards, is beautiful. Make sure you know what's on before you arrive (they offer wine tastings and other activities) so that you can fully enjoy the hotel. I liked everything and highly recommend it. But to state one of its weakness: it is easy to get lost trying to find it and its location (though great for relaxing and for Trapani's airport) is far from town.

We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights at Baglio Donna Franca. It is a beautiful place with very fine facilities. The swimming pool was great, both large and very clean. Our room and bathroom were very spacious and well functioning. Breakfast was abundant and served either indoor in the beautiful restaurant or outside in the courtyuard. The wine grown on the farm was very good. It is a bit difficult to find if you do not have a GPS, but when found a lovely place. We would certainly go back if we come to Sicily again.

The beautiful location, friendly staff and the very good restaurant made the Baglio Donna Franca a perfect place to start our holiday in Sicily.I just wish it had been warm enough to dip into the tempting pool.

Nice big room. Big bathroom.Nice looking place overall.Has pool, although very exposed. Some English language TV stations. If we hadn't the GPS it would have been very difficult to find.Dinner and service in restaurant poor,overpriced for what you get.Buffet breakfast ok for 5euro, not much choice, but adequate for the price.

As far as comfort is concerned, it would be comfortabe if you disposed some ashtrays in a place where to smoke outdoors(I noticed a lot of cigarette ends on the green lawns). Excellent as far as value for money is concerned.Hotel locatin is a little bit difficult to find, however pretty and attractive things are more interesting if they are somehow concealed - it is maybe more romanticism. We are maybe planning to return sometime to Sicily and to stay atr this very Hotel. It so cosy and feel-at-home ambiance.Our particular thanks and compliments are due to the nice and pretty waitress with high level of professional skill Ms. Lea - it has been a real pleasure to have had the privilege to be served by this young lady. Anyhow it does not mean that the other staff are not OK however she stand out The only remark would be the lack of ashtrays in some place out of the hotel. Cigarette ends lying on the lawn are not a decoration for such nice facility.We have been vary happy having experienced so comfortabe vacation, nothing to say about the historical and natural landmarks of Sicily.Many kind regards and best wishes from Aleš Komavec with wife Marjana, Janez Štular and his wife Olga

We stayed the first night after quite late arrival to Trapani airport - we chose it as it is only 15 minutes away by car. Very pleasant accomodation in vine farm with impressive views to the see and Erice in the distance. Baglio itself is very cute and clean. Wide breakfast choise. Great value.

It's a wonderful restored old winefarm, place in the middle of wine and olive fields. Lovely and delicious food, and really good wine. The restaurant, reception and bar, still have the old beautiful arches. Room was nice and comfortable, a pity we just had one night, coming late and leaving early. Would like to return We had ordered a transfer from the airport, but it didn't show up at time, so we had to call Baglio. After 5 min we had to call back, to know about the tranfer. Next morning very early, there was no problem
